250 watts led upgrade

Guys, I would like to introduce an 250 watts in my current tent, I was able to produce extra co2, around 1200 ppm constantly. Since I have 100 x100 x 2 tent and 300 watt ec3000, I would like to add 200 - 250 to get the biggest yield. needs to be small like ufo led. Ican you please give me suggestions for this upgrade? The cheapest option, cause I am broken

Not sure what you are asking but for a 3x3x6' tent 300 watts is ample. spiderfarmer has a G3000 or the SE3000 both designed for that tent

But there is a study, that shows that if you reach 800 ppm, you can increase the light from 300 watts to 500 watts, and that will increase 30 of the production per square meter. This Is why I am looking for a New led to upgrade the tent. I hope i have clarified your question.

Yes, please post the study. I'm always interested in learning new things.

What we're saying about CO2 injection is its not required to grow high grade cannabis. It has nothing to do quality ... What it does is allows you to grow larger plants faster. Still, please post that study. I'll give it a read.

Look at companies like Phlizon, SpiderFarner, AC Infinity etc. Their gear is marketed more towards the home hobby grower and carry slightly lower prices than essentially the same stuff marketed to commercial grows. I imagine you'll find it on Amazon UK.

Normally a study would reference uMol not watts. Also curious what the units is on the 30 increase of production.

I tend to follow the bruce bugbee school of thought here. I run CO2 as well. All other parameters need to be dialed in first, but if CO2 is the limit to growth in your system (usually it is not) you can get as much as 15% higher harvest at 1200PPM.

It's really hard to recommend a specific 250 watt LED for you.
One reason is that watts is kind of a poor way to decide on a light.
Like you say you need 250 watts but I say 250 watts of what? 250 of full spectrum? 250 to push DLI up to 30 when it can only max out at 25? 250 watts of UV or Far Red?
Say it is DLI needing the boost. Yeah it could take 250 watts to do it but there may be a much more efficient choice where it will only take 100watts.

Set the CO2 stuff and studies aside, I'd figure out what your current light is lacking.
Like is it coming up short in any area like PPFD or spectrum colors, is it undersized for the footprint etc. Are buds maxing out with the size of a human thumb or are they big ass donky dick chonker colas?
If they're thumb size then the whole light needs to be upgraded to something that truly does perform and deliver the goods since there are lots of led that yes grow plants but also grow them to be very undersized and limited and no amount of CO2 or the best nutes around can fix that.
Does the current light simply need to be supplemented or would doubling up fixtures be the remedy? Or maybe just a bigger light all together is what's needed

This would allow you to move to a 120cm x 120cm flower tent without upgrading your light again. You've mentioned wanting to get into breeding cannabis. For that you'll need several grow areas. If it were me, I would focus on purchasing your main equipment you need to get yourself going, and then look into the CO2 injection at a future time. You'll have more growing experience by then and a better feel for what you really need to accomplish your goals.

maybe 2x240w boards are a better idea if you want to push light levels into co2?

You could get 240w lm301/meanwell boards from kingbrite £125 each delivered to Europe, its been ages since I looked but you could buy kingbrite lights from alibaba through PayPal.

The plant is growing like nothing has happened. 1200ppm with the light adjusting is speeding exponenlliaty the speed of the grow. There's no question that maintaining a stable environment is essential if you want to have a successful grow.

If they were mine, I would hold off on topping them unless you already have a plan on how you want to shape them to fit your space. When I take my clones, I take them from lower side branches that I am removing due to them being too low on the plant to produce good runs of buds. I usually get a number of them off each plant. I do this about a week before I change my light cycle to 12/12.

I'll be the first to tell you that my way isn't the only way. I prefer to use LST methods and to leave my plants with their tops. I feel that unless you give your plants time to regrow the vegetation you cut, you're not helping your yield.

P.S. I'll have to find a translated version of the study you posted. I'm looking into that right now.

The reference to using CO2 with LEDs has more to do with the lower operating temperatures allowing the CO2 to remain present in the grow area before its exhausted from the grow area. Yes, CO2 does allow higher levels of light to be used which in turn drives photosynthesis. Yes, it allows you to grow larger plants faster ... but is it worth all the extra expense right up front when you're getting yourself set up? CO2 can easily be added at another time later on down the road. If this were my project, I'd focus on getting your vegging area, your flowering area, and your area separate from the rest to keep your males. Right there is 3 sets of tents or rooms and their lights. Many breeders run with more ... they might have a mothers area and possibly even an infirmary to care for unhealthy plants.

The light I suggested earlier could be used in your current setup with the light dimmed down and then moved to a larger tent once you purchase it. Your current light is ample in size for the current tent and can be moved back into use for your seedling and vegging nursery. Then once you have all areas operational, you can add CO2 and other upgrades. In the meantime, concentrate on getting yourself up and running first.
