Is there a phone app I can use or is a PC needed? Suppose I could look. Duh.

He has the Bambu app on his phone too.

I know he’s able to do some things on his Steamdeck but I don’t know if he’s connected his PC to his phone to share data.

Setup an account. I’ll see if it’s doable on the iPhone tomorrow. Later tonight if I can’t sleep again.

hmm, i'm not sure if it supports mobile or not. i know my printers mfg has a mobile site like your son's does but don't know about tinkercad. probably work enough that you could download the files for him to slice and print.

When I logged in and went to it a pop up said my screens too small but I can move around. Haven’t done anything but look so far. I’ll do a screen shot next login.

Haven’t used CAD or Autodesk in a long time. Might still have a copy of the later, or competitor on a HDD or DVD somewhere.

That was a life before I got into computers. Still have my old drafting table in the garage. Along with mechanical arms and T squares and crap.

Yes Tinkercad has an app.
I downloaded it and it's the same layout as the web version.
The only PC interface you'd need would be to take what you make on the app and move it to a slicer then onto a micro SD card unless you can send files to the printer wireless.
There's other cadding apps I noticed when I found Tinkercad as well. I'l play with them at some point too but for now I'm well adapted at using tinkercad for making things from scratch.

No love for iPhone. Must be android only. Website app is too big for the phone even notes this when I login.

Yeah, we do it wireless. He uses his Steamdeck for changes but mostly his phone to download and start prints from vendors website. Seems you have to go through them with the app. Not to happy about that but it’s not mine.

Not sure what you mean? You want a stripper pole in the middle of your tent so you can attach fans to it?

Ah. I see the confusion now. It’s not a centre piece. The white part that’s an L shape is a corner part. It snaps in behind the pole so suction can’t pull it in when the exhaust fan goes on high.

What you want is like a funnel or outdoor table umbrella stand. If it’s not going to hold much weight use a upside down funnel that the pole can slip over. Put that on a old mouse pad or something to protect the bottom of the liner. How you secure it to the roof depends on what’s there and what you plan to do with it. Attaching a clip on fan should be fine but not much else. You also have to have an accommodating light that’s not in the way.

Can the pice that snaps on the pole be taller/longer? All it need to do is hold the frame in place. The weak/flex point of the tent is the center of the tent.

I was just thinking on RSO...when I saw that corner support it got me thinking.
I can build something that would work, just not as convenient as a snap on snap off deal....that is all!!!

It warns me my screen is too small but I tried anyway. Not going to work. It got painful.



But it’s surprising how much you can find that’s already out there. It’s gotten to the point I need to build a new PC anyway. Just another good reason to justify it.

Yes. But you would have to do it in a CAD program or Tinkercad.

I look for existing things for my needs as I’m not able to make or mod things yet. But you can find a surprising amount of things are already done.

RSO? I’ve seen a few different designs for snap on poles or hooks. You just have to make sure they are for your size pole. Some have different size files you can download, others just the one. Always look to see if it doesn’t show you in the photos.

Some I’ve tried. Some fail. A few I use.

No. I get it. Two or three birthdays back I asked my son to get me the ACI poles for $50. Now I could get him to print the clips and buy PVC for $10.

I know. Probably have enough parts to make an okay system but really need to buy new motherboard and guts. Not sure what survived the lightning strike. Both monitors survived but ones power supply is toast.

I forgot I showed you a few pics. It’s got a good layer of dust now for sure. Used it to dry a few plants but that’s about it. More of a computer and business paperwork graveyard now.

The need for a PC is beginning to outweigh the lack of interest. We’ll see.

man i haven't used one those in a long time now.. i bet they make some sweet ones now!! for some reason i went back to mouse about ten years ago and now i just can't live without my seven button two wheel mouse!!! v&h scrolling, forward&back buttons, volume, and two macros to do what ever i want. i have one set as maximize and the other to show desktop. i'm spoiled AF!!!

i know sometimes it's the starting software that's the hardest to get without a connection.. and i know you like linux and i could easily get all that and would be ez and cheap to send it to you on a card or something...

probably cheaper to buy a new or used power supply where you're at but i have some you can have for free if you wanna pay the shipping? just something to think about. i can't believe this one i have in now still works.. got every usb port filled on the thing for years now and it still fires up!!! the newer SSDD hard drives help with power but i still have a cpu cooler attached and that thing is a power hog!!! but hey, my cpu is running at 87° right now!!
