I was out in the ice storm this morning splitting some kindling and somehow a good size chunk shot straight down & hit me on the top of the foot and I was hopping around like the Three Stooges!

(that piece is in the fire right now btw)
Morning started off noticing one stack of rounds had fallen into the next, and of course as I tried to straighten it up five or six stacks took a dive, so that started the mood for the day
I've got to split a lot of that wood anyway, so once I get the new wood up off the ground, on the skids and covered I can start splitting what fell over today, a lot of it's rounds and they don't stack well the way I had them anyway, they'll do better inside.
Anyway, finished clearing the skids for the cord and a half of wood that's coming tonight, so he can dump the new stuff on the skids
Not sure if wood guy's got more skids for me, hope so
