I went out to get a cart of wood and I got soaked, I'm not going to try to snow blow one inch of ...I don't even know what it is slush or ice some of it's frozen some of it's melting, I reckon even more will melt. I'm going to let it turn into a skating rink like every other year cuz I've got crampons

I just finished my last chunk, scraped down my mason jar with a silicone spatula Christmas Day and this was the end of it.

Looked at the White rhino closely tonight, 3 weeks more would be the most they need to finish. I can start the new seeds anytime now, I'll make a separate grow Journal

Watered, trying to figure out which PPM meter works until the new one gets here in a week I know how to mix it by recipe, and then cutting it 2 to 1 gives me about 625ppm, and I have one meter that's giving me that reading

Getting the pots ready today and wetting the seeds tomorrow, because I don't want them to crack til 2026

Got to shake some kif today too, I'm still smoking on my last chunk but it was pretty big

The cold is sure here, 15° now but the howling wind is giving me a -4 wind chill temp

Thursday through Monday is going to be below zero every night and single digits to low teens in the day, I brought a lot of wood up to deck today, should last till the weekend

I had a piece of wood last night sitting on a bed of red hot coals that I couldn't light on fire with six pieces of fat wood underneath it, & three or four hits with the torch.

Eventually I had to put three other pieces of wood in there to get it going, and they all burnt down before that one too.

I've mentioned before I've run into a piece like that every now and then that just won't burn

I had to take the smoke detector in the room down while I worked on it, there was so much smoke in the house my eyes were burning but I was determined to get that son of a bitch burning

I was already past time (the daylight savings change) on changing their batteries anyway so all the smoke detectors got changed last night while I was at it ...all the while with me swearing under my breath at that piece of wood

So the Keif is in the Press heating up on the stove, I find the heat makes it more malleable when I press it

Just a guess but I think I got close to three grams of seed stockers Blackberry Gum hash in an hour, not bad. It's not the pain in the ass of shaking it it's the allergies I have to take Benadryl when I make hash or trim plants, or else forget about it !!

Just found out my next door neighbor crashed today, can't tell if his trailer with that brand new blue tractor hit that house or not?

He lives about a half mile up the hill and I think this happened about a mile and a half further up the hill

Our hill has some really exciting roller coaster dips and a couple of steep climbs too, cover it all in ice and it's a good time for all ...not!

Not sure what they use on the roads here but because the lake is about a hundred yards behind that house they don't use the good stuff that really melts it, so it's a sheet of ice out here.

Heading for a cold snap, brought a heap of wood up the house day before yesterday but I think I'll go grab some more because today's 28° is as warm as it's going to be for a while

I just saw our flock of turkeys the other day inside the airport fence all nice and safe. Maybe 15-20 of them.
Sure enough the next day I see one odd ball all alone down on the side of my house crossing the road~! He did not look twice...
We'll see if he comes back or not.
Tuesday was the coldest just because of 40mph wind gust. Yesterday was alright even though same cold temp.
No wind and sunshine can make the difference in the world. I love the sun.
We're supposed to maybe see 30-40 sometime Tues-Weds maybe.
Just had oil tank filled for second time. Really only about a week earlier than usual even with different starting points each season.
Takes a special person to go out in this every morning before the sun is even up.

The turkeys are usually a couple miles up the hill, they're a rough crew!

I wish I had oil I don't like propane I still have both tanks almost full from when I moved in, but one will run tonight it usually runs when it gets down below 8°

I'm in a pretty good snow storm right now, couple more inches of fluff I guess

HUGE difference adding another 16-in pedestal fan into the small pantry room just off from the woodstove, it gets into the 80s in there due to the proximity and the new fan circulates that heat much better throughout the cooler side of the house

I had one there for the first few years, when it died early spring of last year I guess I didn't notice it as much as now during this bitter weather.

So one night a few weeks ago I'm freezing my ass off in the bathroom wondering why the other side of the house is so damn cold and then it hit me like a truck! I do like to be warm, so eventually I figured it out

Doesn't happen often, second or third time this year but I fell asleep with the fire low and I woke up in a cold house! takes a while to get the temp back up too

Everything's watered and I just put my last chunk of hash in the pipe, so I know what I'll be doing tomorrow
