the part of ai that concerns me is that the engines seem to be endowed with the "morals" of their creators.
The Human element is always corruptable.People aren't good role models, and I do not doubt that we will see, in our lifetimes, an ai device decide that it needs to ensure it survives rather than something or someone else!
Its definitely possible.Might sound like a science fiction plot, but I honestly believe the direction ai is taking will end up there, even if no one tries to accomplish that.
We're going to live the terminator movies.
We've seen 8 since 2005, and I saw two in the mid-late 70's. Each was different. One was huge and being chased by several mil copters, and vanished, one, the glowing tube, was seen by 8 of us, all but one were seen by at least 2 people. 3 of them were in the last year. One very long, thin glowing tube, one silent drone craft with odd aviation lights which zipped up, hovered above us for long enough for me to hobble out to see it before it flew away into the distance. One was enormous, but too far away to tell what shape it was. It was massive, vertically, but partly obscured by trees and mountains. One was an orb, but changed shape or reflected differently as it moved. We filmed that one, but it hovered for a couple of minutes before we got the phone. Right when I yelled for the phone it started slowly moving away. While filming it another object zipped by at incredible speed which we didn't notice until we watched the video later. My uncle was an air force pilot and he said he saw things, as did many of the commercial pilots my mom knew.I also have heard that they make an appearance during times of war. Three incidents for me since 1987, but when our government becomes involved it will be clandestine bullshit.
