Haha those colas aren't too big. Gotta few beer bottle size and they're held up by yoyos and then the indicas all have fat eggs size buds at the top on thick branches so I doubt they'll fall over plus they have a low center of gravity.

I have a retractable net system I'm working on but it wasn't ready for this grow and needs some better engineering.
Adjusted the spectrum a little more toward a Fall replica and Mother Nature is helping out giving me some cool air to run thru the room for a really good Fall weather simulation

Next time I run HB you want a clone? Never mailed one before but I’m sure we can manage.

For that matter I can send you clones of Z-Weed if you want. Mine are a week in flower ATM so not sure it’s worth the trouble but we grow it often enough that there will be other opportunities.

I have more seeds, I did something wrong. I'm a bit shocked I got 0 out of 8 but that says I fked up it wasn't the seeds. I'm going with bad water and maybe too cold the first 2 nights before I put them in the tent. I think I might pause now. I'll be running too late into August to finish. It may be an opportunity to try Auto's outdoors, I'm going to think on it a bit, I'm up in the air on what to do now, I was pushing it as is popping now putting me late July early Aug for flower but now I'm right smack in the middle of 95-100% @ 90-95f. I got me some contemplating to do....lol

It's been a journey filled with a ton of "I wonder what will happen if ____?"

I think the challenge of growing in Texas vs the weather and the law keeps me on my toes trying to stay ahead of both but also grow the best dank possible.
Other growers online and in person also push me. Not to keep up or outdo but the collective mind gets wheels turning and makes ideas come to life. I take a lot from others. Maybe not copycat follow but I'll see or read something that can apply to an idea I have that will make it work.
That's where a forum like this really helps and excels. Rather than growers attacking each other we make each other better here.

So the garden is winding down and I've changed up the lighting to something more of a ripening spectrum turning off the full spectrum supplements, reducing white by 60%, and keeping red and UV maxed out.

The hybrids have started their fade while indicas are holding a dark green with possible purps on the way with them.
Not seeing many if any fresh and erect pistils and the decline is beginning to set in for many. Maybe 2-3 weeks left?

It's been a long time since I've grown a crop all the way to harvest in a tent and I don't miss it or want to go back!
The small new one will work for light veg duty and my old veg tent is for drying but yeah for bloom I like a wide open room.

I'm using the Pulse Pro device that measures light but also every environment metric in a room like VPD, RH, CO2, Temp, and a couple others.
It was $500 for the device and the app and data are free.

That device you linked looks very interesting and affordable! Good to see pricing on PAR meters come down because the floor used to be around $250 and it only got more expensive from there.

Recently I downloaded and tried out the Photone app to compare to my Pulse. The app was only $7.
I'm using an old Iphone 2 with paper diffuser the app recommends and it was accurate enough to measure PPFD. DLI was way off but could be due to my phone being old, IDK, and to get color graphs the app had some pay to play upgrades to do that.
I like that app and would probably go in that direction if I didn't have the Pulse Pro. A newer Iphone or android model than mine and the diffuser Photone sells I'd bet would be just as accurate as any par meter around and save a lot of $$$.

Your new design for the vertical grower looks great. It's like it becoming more neat and efficient with each new iteration, which emits a sense of sleekness. Do the to pieces that make up the seeds compartment pressure fit together?

I didn't even realized that soft printing filaments are a thing . That's pretty wild.

Yeah I think there's at least 30 beans in there. Kinda reminds me of myself when I send seeds because I'll send out a Farmer Phil Pheno Hunt pack of around 100 seeds.

The VG has come a long way with tweaks here and there to make it better or easier to use. This design solves some issues but opens up new ones to figure out. All part of the process.
I try to make them extremely snug fitting from the earlier versions needing rubber bands to keep closed. That's one of the new issues as too snug can be an issue. It's a matter of fractions of millimeters to dial it in perfect.

Yeah that filament is called TPU and it's super fun to work with. It's almost like silicone so you can use it to make gaskets, cell phone covers, even shoes. All kinds of possibilities with it but in the VG it require all new R&D adjusting density and infill otherwise it's too flexible.

Seems my biggest stoner issue is when I roll a doob, set it down, then go make some tea. I come back and about 50% of the time cannot find my doob or remember where I put it.

3x ARC F2 have been dropped. We'll take this slow and as it comes. First step is getting heads up and we'll go from there but good chance with this Pink Caddy tent, I could keep a mother if needed and that opens up potential ARC clones.

I've also started the GPS redemption or ruin tour. 3x Frozen Custard that grew great for me and yielded some of the best weed I've grown from GPS and a new cut, Joker Juice which being new, the joke could be on me for even considering it so we'll see

Thanks man. I'm gonna be trying to grow indica, sativa, and hybrid side by side pretty much as long as I grow. Don't really want more than 3 plants of any strain per grow and a minimum of 4 strains each grow.

Would also like to have that split with one difficult cut that's real fussy about everything but worth it in the end. That's usually an OG or a haze. Another intermediate like a hybrid. Not too difficult but some traits like stretching that needs attention. And the rest filled in with ez to care for indicas not needing too much attention so those others can get it. And in the end, a personal dispo with all the variety a stoner could ask for

Organics help as a one size fits all feeding program and the tables make any plant height side by side possible so those two things really make life ez for me to keep on with multi strain grows.

Aint gonna lie folks that Vietnamese cut has my tail wagging. It aint very far removed from it's landrace heritage. And that Mekong haze can be special with plants that grow haze flowers but ripen quick and have shorter structure like indicas. Just a weird spot on the globe where genetics from the highlands naturally crossed up with lowland sativas for a Mother Nature bred hybrid.
They've been hard AF for me to grow and using regular stock aint gonna make it ez but this should be a really fun challenge

Here's the run down on what's in Vietnamese 3 way....

#1 Vietnamese Silver Leaf (Hoa Bac) ♀ is a Sativa heirloom collected in Vietnam in the 1990's, given to Reeferman Seeds by a friend who wanted to promote the best cannabis genetics from Vietnam. Its origins are from the Comere people of Vietnam, who are originally from Cambodia. Because of this, Hoa Bac Silver Flower grows similar to Cambodian varieties. It is chunky, early finishing (for a pure Sativa) and has wider leaves. The flowers smell of rotten fruit.

#2 Vietnamese Black Legendary Sativa from Vietnam. Should act in its effect similar to magic mushrooms. Hallucinogen with strong visual and auditory effects, even paranoid feelings should occur, not for new smokers. Very vigorous growth in displacing other plants, as a special feature huge 13-fingered leaves. Flowering time 16-18 weeks.

#3 Vietnam Delat by Snowking. This is a saving of a line more than a preservation, as the seeds were very old and took a long time to germinate. These are not like the Vietnam Black, these are weeping willow, curly, leafy, wild and long branches that grow up from the ground and drape over.
The flowers are tight, with good resin, but very small glands. Most all phenotypes are green, with the occasional purple phenotype. If people work the line, the purple phenotypes will become more common.

All three of those in an open pollination orgy

New stereo is so sweet man. What can I say...I got El Jefe's Vato Special on the system and install! Can't complain about the fuse because they fixed the blue wire fuse since that's what was cutting my sub out. Fuckers woulda made it a pack mule for drugs if I let 'em. Damn near drooling over the prospect of cutting holes in my rear doors for speakers but I'm going with boxes.
The gear I ended up with is solid all around. What they did was give me gear that had not sold and was older stock so rather than give me something new like the head with only a 7" screen, they gave me the previous model JVC with a 10". It's all high end gear but at regular price nobody bought it so I got it all at a discount.
I ordered a set of Alpine 6x9s and boxes for them to sit on the rear dog platform in my truck. That was another thing they couldn't get thru their head is I can't have a sub the size of a damn coffin back there. My dogs ride back there FFS!

I've got a VG set for you too man even though you got a printer. Wanna do it all in TPU but we gotta keep it on the DL. I don't wanna see a KL VG being sold in his dang hauler next year for $85

The Ethos have not gone purple but may be about too. Right now they're a dark pine tree color green turning blueish.
Lots of blue lighting in the spectrum brings purps out along with cool temp swings during lights off for me here.

Indicas usually carry purple traits and will finish up dark green or purple for me. They tend to not cut energy to leaves and remain green or purple with no die off or drop until harvest chop.
Hybrids do a Fall fade after they cut energy into leaves during the swell. Maybe some purps but usually wine reds and golds to a very pale yellow before death and drop. I pull at the pale yellow stage so they don't lay down and die on top of a flower.
Sativa does a fade into yellow as well but faster and drops main stalk leaves. There can be dazzling colors on the flowers and pistils. Pink, purple, blue, red, orange can show on the flowers but leaves stay green until going yellow

I'm taking a page from Moe and Stoney here with the hydro but I'm using flood and drain instead of fog or DWC.
There's speed here compared to starting like a common soil grow and that's what I'm after.
Aero will need work but in the meantime F&D and biodegradable aerating bags are my ticket to speed. I would use airpots but the flooding would erode soil out of the pots thru the holes

I went to HD yesterday for a new plug for an extension cord and a fly trap. I always go thru the garden center to avoid lines and I saw they had a rack of 'maters on clearance for only 90 cents each. I had been seeing plants selling for like $6-$12 and these had originally been small starts for $3.
They didn't sell and employees stopped watering them so they were all dried up and wilty looking terrible.
So I gave them $10 and brought 10 home to revive. Little good water and a drop of grow big has them looking great only 24 hours later!
I have some cherry, beefsteak, and roma in this tray.

I know they['re home depot plants and prolly loaded with bugs and shit but I'm a fucking grower and like a dude seeing some crazy chick at a bar and saying to himself "I can fix her", I'm the same way with plants.

They didn't sell and employees stopped watering them so they were all dried up and wilty looking terrible.
So I gave them $10 and brought 10 home to revive. Little good water and a drop of grow big has them looking great only 24 hours later!
I have some cherry, beefsteak, and roma in this tray.

I know they['re home depot plants and prolly loaded with bugs and shit but I'm a fucking grower and like a dude seeing some crazy chick at a bar and saying to himself "I can fix her", I'm the same way with plants.

A coco based soil
It's Roots Greenfields and like many "soils", there's nothing dirt about it. If anything, soil these days are closer to soiless hydro mixes than they are true earthen dirt so what you have is pretty much a coco on 'roids that can translate into an organic soil grow or run as a hydroponic medium.
