I built a DIY freeze dryer.
It does take some specialty items like a good vacuum pump and a chest freezer though.
I basically use silica beans and my old BHO vacuum chamber, (coincidentally from BVV lol) and it takes roughly 5-7 days to complete but it's a real deal freeze dryer capable of making live extracts
