It think it will but not as well as if it was processed. You are relying on saliva to break down the trichomes. Probably not all that effective overall.

i kind if do this for my edibles. i don't chew it though, just eat it with some yogurt or something to help wash it down.

i use my squish chips from pressing rosin. in the past i would grind them up and decarb in the oven because i thought it was necessary but it's not.

i just cut it up with scissors and gulp i down.

my favorite way of taking edibles is to wake up a couple hours early, eat the bud then go back to sleep for two or three hours. you wake baked. torn up from the floor up!!!

dispenso edibles work okay this way too but they're weak imo.. been years now since i've decarbed and processed it in something.. turns out from laziness i found it doesn't really matter.

give it a try for yourself, at worst case you got a few dabs of rosin to smoke first out of it!! it amazing how much is still in that chip that we think we pressed all the good stuff out of..
