Bronco game sure turned to crap in 2nd half. At least yours was fun to watch!
I'm about half way thru my pool sheet and will finish today.
Today is also a snow day for work so just staying inside.
Did my taxes and sent that in. Thnking about looking over what seeds I have for veggies but mostly just getting super high and watching TV today.
20 degrees out but sunny. Roads are clear but cold AF.

Man that is a game changer~!
I lack water in my shop and it is a real PIA to drag a hose out from my basement in the winter to fill my barrels.
And then drag it back in~!;hw It might only be once every two weeks or so but it is so anti slacker I must protest.
Had I known so many years ago what I would do in my shop I would have installed a water supply line for sure.
Right now not having water out there is more discouraging than -2f outdoor temps. Well they kind of go together.
Just is not that easy to dig a 4' deep trench through gardens and pathways to get below the frostline now.;hw

Good on you for getting it done and having the convenience going forward.;thup

Water supply in the room is probably the best thing I ever did for my addiction to this hobby growing weed.
DJ has a nice rig with a shut off and it being under pressure.
Mine is simple barrel to barrel operation with an electric pump and 50' of polypro tubing. I get 50 gallons at a time and maybe run it once per week.
It's a 50 gallon push into a 55 gallon tank in the room so there's never a chance of overflow.
It can freeze but we don't have long freezes so it thaws between fills.
I've considered using my sous vide submersion cooker heater to keep it from freezing over in the outdoor tank. Once inside, in a few days the tank will be room temp or I can point my heater at it to warm it faster.
This Spring I plan to change out the entry into the home to PVC since the tubing likes to kink right where it comes out of the fresh air intake duct. There's been little issues like that along the way but it still beats packing water ;)
 
i had to go into town today, well a town over actually.. what a freakin circus!!! only flipped off one car so i guess it could have been worse.. got like six things done so that was good!!

i wish i had a better drain in the grow. i fucked mine up years ago and now it only holds a few gallons before backing up. right now i transfer pump up and out like 15 foot elevation. take a hose out and drag it back in, not nearly as a pita as Steam goes through but it's not fun in the winter, in the summer i just let the hose lay there all season though.

but i've been using my rain water sparingly right now.. it's gonna be weeks and weeks i bet till i get more. so glad i now have the plumbing line with water!!

Every time I go to town people keep handing me receipts...I don't like that shit. People are disregarded and I need out out of town as fast as I got there. Hate it..

Water really kicked my ass last time, I worked my ass off that last grow.... that's all I got to say about that...

It's just a double ended spicket, the outside has a quick connect and connects to the outside spicket to the house, so technically not running (unless I leave it on) 20260123_121534.jpg I bought a 60 gallon Res so should be good there, in my mind it was something like bandits barrel to barrel deal.
There's going to be a return line for pumping out wastewater..
When I get done working on broken down excavators and outside work I will return to grow beef up.

I still need to do some organization.... I still have to hang all that stuff that I bought I haven't had any time to do it I had to pool last night, Gawd damn it!, .....

Been thinking about taking up archery as a hobby too but then slingshot bows popped onto my radar then reddit picked up my algorithm and now I'm looking at compound bearing bows. 🤪
Not looking to hunt with it, just fuck a bunch of shit up with it.

That thing is probably shooting 1000k per foot second...give or take. An adjustable bow probably faster😎 if I had to guess

I miss bow target shooting. Son and I got really good in a couple years.

I keep wanting a nice target air rifle. I find myself looking at this one lately. IMG_8889.jpeg

It’s $2750 plus tax so not going to happen. To many things we need to fix/replace.

Up here those bearings bows would be prohibited. Can have anything over 400fps approximately. 😞

When my son was about 15 he and I got rid of a squirrel that kept trying to nest in the garage. After he got in the third time I brought in the paintball gun. Ya it made a mess but it was fun as hell. He never came back after that. Blue and orange for a day. 🤣😂😝

Yeah they brought me back outta retirement...6 brand new victory 7-footers...... probably the pool players curiosity and me going.....the guys put a lot of work in for this, suppose to run Saturday tournaments .

Those others with the shoes off is nuts...Not just the shoes but the first sign is best in resale value. Might as well read, you're gonna regret buying this boat until you sell it.
 
My brother was a boat builder in Florida before retirement.
Still messes around but only one boat at a time. Sold the company a couple years ago but still has access to the shop.
Some fine boats you are looking at there. ;sh

Exactly!!!!stupid nuts. I saw that sign and laughed and kept walking...even still drop that boat 40mile offshore and it ain't that big.
Those bigger Boston whalers are convenience pleasure boats....yes would need a couple of extra hands.
