Evergreen Gardens...PNW

Yeah they pretty much take off right away at least the ones I've seen have been running.
I worry more about bears to be honest. Can't see them all the time, and if you walk up on one of those you better be ready cus they won't run. Fuckers!...

Years back...I was scouting elk in a swamp buddies and I had 2way radios, we agree to a meet place, I come up out of the swamp a bit had a sammy and waited for him to meet me, now we're still in the timber. I sit down kinda and we were talking it didn't take him long to me me after I got to the spot...like maybe 5 minutes, pretty quick his eyes got like 50cent pieces....NEXT Thing I see is his gun come up and boom! ...shot a 300lbs+ bear about 20 yards behind my back! No joke, that was the last day I ever went out without a bear tag.

Black bear will mess you up, for real.i don't hunt some places because of it...

Found some fresh tracks tonight, see what I find inthe morning
my friend went on his first day and first time bow hunting ever today, wasn't lucky. said he will try again tomorrow

500 and 700 are settings for the TDS/EC meter.
4/7/10 is for your pH meter.
Using both the 4 and 10 separately lets you know if your pH meter is accurate.
They tend to wander if not stored properly.
I have to confess, I don’t use any scale for nutrients.

I just pour.

It’s not possible with hydro, but soil can mask a lot of minor differences. It’s almost like you can average nutrient levels over time, as long as you don’t get too out of control with any single feeding.

That's good, hunting is a good sport that needs new hunters...got a bow myself. I've put it away this year. To take any game with a bow takes alot.

Nope...none....zip....hunted my guts out. I hunted where there were no hunters...I hunted where there were hunters...nope

Nice bud...what are you killing whit that? Gar?
We used to just walk the shallow rivers around here shooting Carp. I eventually got a boat that let us hit the lakes too. Lots or Gar, Buffalo and Carp after that. Catfish too but you gotta follow the kreel limits for them. Our best night brought 209 fish onto the boat. I could put it in gear but if I throttled up, we took on water.

Then we started going up to the Colorado Highlands, above 9000 feet, where we were after Pike.

I eventually sold my boat and pretty much stopped shooting in my home state. Our lakes are terrible. Like chocolate milk most days. The lake we go to in Colorado is as clear as can be. Visible lake bottom at 30 foot depths. Can't shoot that deep, but it basically ruined my fishing around home. That and we keep and clean the pike. Bowfishing changed forever after that.

I used to go to that Colorado lake once a year until I had my first kid. We'll be back, but we just had another kid, so it'll probably be another couple years before we make that trip again. You gotta camp out on the lake and the nights get down around 20 degrees. No place for a toddler and an infant.

I didn't think they'd fill out that fast ina week... probably going to be in for another space fight with the screen side

To cool not to take a second and enjoy the big trees..... Each year I like to find a new spot where I can do this, just hang out with the big trees it's ironic considering what I used to do but I find solitude down here in the Big trees I don't know what to say.... getting harder to do

The Elk were up the other side, further away than I wanted to pack one out even with help. That's the way it goes should just killed the one at my house last week....🤨

The Garden is looking like it might grow... So I'm just running the cube as a watering system right now. I've been busy outside and haven't really had a chance to hook up any of that blue lab stuff yet, so I just been pH in my hand
After feed with the system the res pH & ppm dropped to around 800-790ish..pH balanced 6.5-6. l rose the pH to where I wanted it and the ppms did come up a little bit, so I gave that to them last night.
Question... How long do you run your solutions for commonly? Give this 24 hours to balance itself out would it be okay to reset the solution for the next week's feeds? Or change it? As it sets right now the solution is only a week old give or take a day...

I turned up the lights....IDK if you can call this a scrog or not anymore but it is what it is. what I can tell is I just waited an extra week or 4-5 daze IDK...to flip, haven't really tucked much I did do some pruning on the purple Haze
Still have a little bit on the Vortex yet to get too

Put a couple of clips on the Super Boof and that's about it I haven't fed them nothing other than water but there is food on the way... They're all still living off that micros that I put in there whatever it is that Bigfoot stuff is...

☕ Morning.....
20251019_165659.jpg

Hydroponics........sesh....!!!!
20251019_153026.jpg
I built me a little air system for myself watering basis......
20251024_203805.jpg
I couldn't just put that fish guts in there without having a little air to move it 🤨

So I'm still having a couple of plants quitting a little early before the light goes out as far as I'm concerned, I've had their bases apart and put back together ,probably a little puckered up at me....
We will maintain observations..... Meanwhile
20251024_215930.jpg
They still look ok.....40% power

Couple of changes to the other side....the Cherries have gone stupid crazy ... I wouldn't call it a stretch it's only been a couple of weeks... could be, but end result was they were overgrown my Vortex plants. And I think that 550 had a lot to do with it, those reds are strong and that beam is narrow......
So we slide it over and add another light to confuse the plants....🙃💣
20251024_213540.jpg
You can see real good in this ^^^ picture,,, the center are vine like growth almost. just growing enough up to where it's fucking the Vortex....
20251024_200639.jpgcherries said there hell with it..... Covering over my Vortex plants and that's not okay.......
So will deal with it...
So we're just chugging along.....

Did some clean up...few daze back.....
20251015_200306.jpg
.
.
So I bought that new 550 veg didn't really realize it was a veg directed light....
20251024_145222.jpg
It's really more of a bigger tool than I realize right now, to be 100% honest..... I did not realize or notice that it was a veg edition.....I looked at so many that apparently it got mixed up.....
I really think that this is a good thing....
Pretty much have my Veg forever light.......I'll finish this grow out with it last couple of weeks I'll hang up there....
