Glad you asked , they work as advertised buddy. If it weren't for those I wouldnt be able to water all this properly...ROOTS..

Just the 4 bases are going threw1-11/2 a day
Then couple days top half drys a bit.
However I believe that's going up, there was an uptake increase in the last 48 hours. SO off we go......

I don't see any full on sativas but those stretchers are polyhybrid with both indica and sativa traits and by stretching, a classic sativa trait, they're telling you they lean sativa and are just about evenly split giving you that 50/50 hybrid some breeders will mention in descriptions. Given the stretch I'd class them as 60/40 sativa leaning hybrids.
These days I pretty much ignore names and see the plants in genetic traits more than anything so it helps me to manage them a little better.
In regards to those stretchers and saw you asking...yeah SC but you can use a net to do the SC.
I use an invention I call lightning hooks but anything similar to a S hook will work here...Like even a bread tie can do it.
Just make sure to bend them over before cotton balls and firm stalks set in then you could break a branch off if waiting too long.
And you gotta make sure the net is tight AF with no slack.
Once bent over you subtract the stretch instantly and reroute it into a U shape. The stalk, rather than stretch, will fatten, and that stretch will be stopped nearly dead in it's tracks.
The more sativa that's in there, the more you have to fight her and may have to tie her down 2-3 more times. A 50/50 hybrid is usually one and done

Yeah i am concerned about busting those branches at the stock, that's why I ask about SC....NOW i remember. And as far as genetics go in these...probably no REAL line to set any kind of grow trait/s to if that's what someone is looking for.

I was able to get the net in earlier, and im not gonna lie....it didn't go that good. Couple split when I tried to pinch & roll.
Folded in half perfectly and needed support. I just barely touched them.

I removed the tie on the right after the pic. Thought I'd try tricking the plant but I didn't like looking at just a little top being stressed out for no real reason...

There showing pistils....im waiting on a couple more under the 550 to figure it out.

All caught up.....on the 820 side.

That's how it goes brother!

Doing that job there is all about feel. There's an art to it really. Not something easily described in text and ya gotta kinda be there for it.
You gotta feel if that firmness has set in or is it still pliable. Develop that sense of how far it can bend before it breaks.
Each plant with it's own little nuance and mistakes are just part of it. We all snap some heads by mistake but you learn from it. The more you do it though the more you get that feel for it and also nail the timing of it. What you've done today and what you learned is gonna help with the next grow and so on

BTW yesterday I found myself in an online conversation about Kevin Harvick paint schemes over the years of all things. More on that in a few...

So as I'm becoming a fan of NASCAR, Harvick is on his way out. I don't pay much mind other than he's one of Briscoe's teammates but at the same time , not really part of the team. The 4 car was it's own deal doing it's own thing at SHR and not part of the team.

Then I saw the movie documentary Blink of an Eye and watched his own doc I am Kevin Harvick that came out last year. I grew to like and respect the guy and really admired how he sorta bridged that time between DE passing and moving forward after.

Now in regards to diecast collecting, last year I decided I was gonna buy Kyle Larson's double cars. Both the #5 Cup and #17 Indy500 car. I also decided I'm gonna order a real nice 2 car case for the pair and it's gonna be a sweet display.

The display case gets here and it's supposed to have a laser etching of Kyle Laron's signature and the Hendricks logo on the glass. But they sent the wrong one and instead of Kyle, it has Harvicks signature, the #4, and the old SHR logo.
On top of that, the indy500 car is too big for the case.
So I cant really use the case for what I wanted and now it's weird because I have this Kevin Harvick case with a Kyle Larson and SVG car in it.

Anyways...going back to that KH paint scheme discussion. I was shown an image of his 2003-2006 scheme and fell in love. It was the perfect and exactly what I was wanting as sort of a proxy connection between DE and the era of racing I'm now a fan of.
So here it is...I finally found a Kevin Harvick car for my Kevin Harvick display case I was too lazy to try and return. As soon as I saw those silver flames over the black I was in love

I had some logging down last summer and it opened up light to some old life. IDK anything about this climbing rose but I'm about to... This part of the yard never saw direct sunlight for much more than a couple hours, now I think it's around 4-5 now, and it's luvin it...trunin pink I think....I think....



There's more photo opts coming on this one, all I've done so far for it is give it more light.

Day 35...fk didn't take long...so on the 820, the 4-7gl self watering it's just been water/tea,liquid karma..this week I'll throw a little more feed. I fed pretty light last time, just a small bump, and they may not need anymore. According to the guide, that's down the road.


I do have 2 that are on botancare in 5gls they got a small bump as well those 2 are looking for more every 2 daze 1and half each...they also on the tea, only second feeding for them as well..

If I've ever seen a climbing rose like that, I didn't know what I was looking at. Most plants that climb like that around here are either poison ivy or the blight of the South (invasive kudzu). I know you said you have to learn about it, but do you know if it's native or something that's been planted?

Are you going to try to move the greenhouse or just wanting to get rid of it?

I think I'm missing something on that line you insulated. Sorry for this bunch of questions. I might feel like an idiot for asking when i see the answers, lol. I have a knack for overlooking obvious stuff. That's the intake for your tent, right? And you insulated it to deal with condensation and that makes life easier on the humidifier. Am I close, lol? Where does the free CO2 come from?

Thin... tinfoil with a spring. Very temp affected, condensation was present enough that I noticed it, it's a draw back to outside air especially up here, the creek on the property...hell I'll bet I could almost hit the saltwater with a long bow shot!

I take that back...they make me miss Humboldt of the 70s-90s. Humboldt today can go fuck itself.

We have plants that kinda look like ferns down here called Sago Palms. It's a type of low to the ground palm tree that identifies as a fern. Botanical species fluidity sorta thing happening with it.
