Part

Thanks brother, part is coming today, will put in tomorrow.

Tested last night, thankfully head gasket is good, no damage done. Phew ... That's a big load off.
My Jeep used to give me issues. It had a clutch fan. I fixed it by drilling a hole in the clutch to screw a bolt into it and making it always on. The bit broke off and stayed lodged in perfectly. Never had an issue again.

My old 308 had issues and went through 3 or 4 thermostats before it was solved. Even after draining and cleaning it would keep getting gummy. It was the 80’s. We didn’t have many options to completely flush things out like now.

And so the mini trouble begins,i was warned. Thermostat failed yesterday, got to test if head gasket ok, i think it should be, it didn't get past 250f for more than a minute, i believe the thermostat never opened, took about 10 minutes to overheat...
Of course you can't just change the thermostat, it's built in to the thermostat housing, got a new one coming Saturday for only $50 with lifetime replacement coverage.

Thankfully she's in one of the easier places to get to in the hood.
Hopefully still have time to do ice hash this weekend, wife is pissed i took up the entire freezer with weed 😂 😂 😂

That sucks man, hope it went EZ.. Sucks it's built in you gotta use what thay give ya. I replaced mine not that long ago and put one in that fails open instead of closed just for peace of mind.

San Pedro cactus is ready, but am i ready to try some of that "medicine" inside??

A cousin of peyote, legal to grow if your intent is purely ornamental... Lol
Dude!!

I got some seeds from eBay several years ago. I had like 50+ sprouts that were about an inch tall. Then I got divorced, couch hopped, spent 2 months in my Renegade with my 2 little schnauzers and lost all the little buggers.

I was on a mission. Life had other plans.

I respectfully disagree. My experience hasn't been that way.

My 2015 Renegade had 250k miles on it when we traded it in for a '25 Compass. No problems, just worried about that high mileage with a newborn.

The only repairs needed on that Renny in the 6 years I drove it was completely my fault. I was broke and, as stated above, living in it at the time while still paying the soon-to-be ex-wife's way (phone, truck, rent). I went 15k+ miles before getting an oil change. That cost me a little over $4k.

This new Compass is badass though. Same motor as the Renny but she's got a turbo. 30+ mpg, 4x4, turbo... thing's badass. Could use a little more legroom with the carseats in the back but we LOVE it so far.

Went from a Nissan Titan to that Renegade... huge downgrade. Ex-wife kept the truck...

No, it went as worse as it could...ugh

The thermostat has a plastic transfer pipe that goes back behind the engine and connects to the water pump. That broke. Went to go clean the plastic out of the water pump and then I broke the plastic connector on that. I'm a superstar lol

Hell, this is almost bound to happen when there's plastic and temperatures getting 200 plus degrees over 20 years.

Oem water pump had a plastic impeller which could have eventually seized, given the overheating and what that does to plastic. I wasn't positive how long the OEM water pump was going to last before failure anyway, so it's all good I'm changing both.

Got a replacement water pump that has a metal impeller got a new transfer pipe all together just over $100 in total parts which isn't bad, thermostat and the pump have lifetime replacement warranty with ECS tuning. Just another week without driving.

Wish me luck everything's going in tomorrow. Shouldn't be too bad since everything's disconnected from the thermostat. The water pump just have to remove the pulley and five bolts.

I really want to get the car back on the road too for the wife. She's been super patient. Let me drive her car for 2 weeks. Driving the car with the rhinestone mirror. The Mexican flag Mexican punching gloves hanging from the mirror does get a lot of looks lol 😂 🤣 🤣

In summary, i am glad I'm changing every failure point in the cooling system, makes me feel better with all the miles I do

Main problem I had was the clutch throw out baring. Failed a lot. Pita to replace.

Car stuff done, replaced thermostat, water pump, and a plastic transfer pipe that connects the two. Pita to burp the system of all air bubbles, learned a new trick, open the vent screw cap on the thermostat 25% and drive the car around town and it will let all the air bubbles burp out by itself.

Car done, court done, not guilty on dui and refusal charges, was a hell of a trial, and thankfully i had a helluva attorney.

All forced pre-trial sobriety is over and nothing else to do but thank the stars and still take this as a big lesson learned. Sometimes we get lucky... I still can't get over the verdict...

Got two new seedlings starting to take off, everything getting back on track

Love you all!

I worked on the bubble hash over the weekend ... I think i over agitated, one of those things that makes more sense after doing it once. I might try again in the future but with a much smaller batch size,

Drying out now,PXL_20251118_010630152.jpg

After drying do you store in fridge, freezer, or room temp?

No special treatment, just spread it out on a dinner plate or some thing like that, you'll know when it dry as it goes a bit powdery and wont cling to its self. Store it like you do your bud, just chucked mine into a plastic bag until I pressed it into a block. 👍

Ok, I'm collecting it tonight, it's done drying.

The Internet was telling me to store in freezer or refrigerator until ready to press to keep the oils from coming out?

Just got the 37 micron bags in the mail, and the press out of storage, maybe press it one night this week. I read to try lowest heat for a few minutes, i can't remember the range on my press but I'll start at lowest and try 5-10 more in increments with each run to see what's best

Been in a real funk lately, maybe i need a reset... Mushroom bar or first time mescaline.. maybe on Thanksgiving since we aren't traveling

This is what i got coming, these color shift colors too. Not bad price i thought, 1000mah battery, fully adjustable voltage

Ah i meant to post one with the camera lights on, wild seeing the color shift Screenshot_20260202-160434.png
This is with the Web cam self lighting on, i think is closer to true coloring (not sure on nomenclature)

Interesting right? Looks darker, but there is more light in the tent

Fim vs lst & topping, omg i need to flip this weekend.

Leaf tips are funny from the fim job. This plant is a good 4 weeks behind the other one so I'm letting it get tall to get closer to an even canopy.

Never even heard of Orthodox tea, what fucking rabbit hole did i fall down now

Learning a lot about plant morphology this go around. I love the vigor from an untopped plant!! It's crazy, got worried at first could be male, but she lifted her skirt the other day, she's all woman lol

I know a lot of you grow big monsters, but this i think is my biggest leaf yet, things are a lot easier when you have good water, i got time to look at other things nowPXL_20260221_005558214.jpg
