Actually, I think you're mistaking ABS resin for TPU. ABS cannot be ran in the A1 and it's toxic so it needs the enclosure and exhausted. ABS is awesome but I think it's a bit much for the home printer to get into on the hobbyist level. TPU is no more dangerous than PLA or PETG and can be used in the A1.


Yeah I think Zen has TPU and ABS mixed up. It happens to me all the time lol. The scented filament is the only one I close up the window and let it smell up the joint. It smells so good when it's printing! So good in fact IDC if it's toxic!

Dude if' you're scared of TPU by all means don't use it.
What you need in ventilation is the same as other filaments. If you're unsure or scared, use an air quality meter near your printer to know exactly what's going on for all filaments when your printer is running.
You can have the same type of filament but one be much more toxic than the other. This is part of why I don't buy generic filaments and use authentic Bambu lab. You can often smell the difference before it even warms up.
The room where my printer is located was chosen for it's ventilation so my printer literally exhausts to the outdoors and operates in semi open fresh air. When I run scented I want to close it up because it smells so good but I don't.
It's not just for TPU but all filaments are toxic to an extent. If you sit there and huff the thing while it prints I'm sure it will be a problem but common sense like not using the printer where people are hanging out is the best idea no matter what filament you have loaded in the printer. If your printer isn't already in a ventilated space it should be.
Some people set up a printer like a grow tent and run the exhaust to a window if they have to use the printer where they sleep and live.

I just want a few degrees drop so I can go out and make hash and rosin. Too hot out there and the ice will melt too fast and just be miserable. If it could just get below 90 I'd be fine.

I'm not sure about the fast frames but I'm happy I've guessed right and got 20 each time! I missed that second week but got 20 every other time from that. That's the one I know will get me over 15K when it comes close at the end.

I had terrible germ rates on Trance Plant and SSDD. I thought it might be me but other breeder gear came up strong so IDK...maybe those seeds are old or something.
The cream rises to the top and here, twice now in this compete for my business test, Anthos gear has shined. So I think it's time I start giving them more and more attention and moved them to the front of the line.

I've been meaning to build an enclosure around my printer. i really wanted to just buy one but the ones for my model are way bigger than i can put there and would have to move the printer. still thinking about, i have another room it would work good in but then i would have to make room for the spool shelf as well.. i wouldn't want them separate.. so for the sake of not moving the rack and shelf i went and bought sheet plastic to make an enclosure. still sits new in the box!! i'll most likely cut it with my bandsaw.. i have a brand new blade for it so it should cut perfect, thats still new in the box yet too!! hahaha

but i would really like to get that done before the new year. january hits and it's so cold in that room and the printer has to work so much harder. thats something i'm sure you never ever have to deal with!! hahaha

The cannatrol machine arrived today and I have a free Saturday morning and afternoon so I'm kinda so antsy to do something tomorrow!
IDC what the weather is like. I'll get up early and have at it!

There was a kitty litter box already in the space where I set up my printer so good venting came built in
I read a thing once about 3D printers putting off lots of CO2 so I thought about sticking it in my grow room but turned out the CO2 was next to nothing.
The air quality index gadget I had read bad on and next to the build plate but nothing a few feet away. Kinda feel like a person needs to be locked in a small closet with a printer to get sick from fumes but some filaments are sporty. I have some foaming filament I'll only use if I can have all doors and windows open during the print.
Too cold actually can be an issue if the window is open and cold wind is blowing in at the printer but most of the time a fan near the printer is blowing air out the window.

Yeah there's the Gibbs thing but also no fine for Blaney but the excuse for fining Stenhouse back for the KFB fight was because he stewed on it? WTF was Blaney doing then? The odd double standards are so lame. Then that weird deal where Heim wont be eligible for ROY but the same things keeping him out were fine for Gibbs?

Yeah just the one short track left and a super speedway but the rest are 1.5s. Kinda fitting I suppose since that is the best track for the gen 7 car so they say. Multi lane short track has a say there.

This was a 6 strain live resin haul over a year in the making.
The Supafreak I added in has been on ice since last Summer and the freshest addition is Romulan and a strawberry haze. Other strains include Pineapple Express, Montana Silvertip, and Bac Tao.
The aroma inside the bag bucket was something sent from the ganja gods. It was holy medicinal grade AF in there. Hash so rich I wanted to lick the bags like cake batter.

I combined 120 and 160 mic but kept 25 mic separate and gonna see what happens with live resin hash in a curing machine

I like the fit in my drying tent!




It takes the space of two hanging racks but I can fit a lot more weed in there than I can those two racks.
There's still 4 more open racks for hang drying if I need or want and still space for the herb now dryer.
I also do live freezing at harvest so between this space and 4 large cvaults for flash freezing I doubt I'll run out of space for harvesting.

My room is warm so I'll test every bit of that max room temp 95 thing. Maybe not that warm but my room is 88-90 most of the year.
My current curing box, an electric cooler, will drop down to freezing temps for long term and seed storage so I'm hoping dry and cure in this machine then long term store in deep freeze.

Almost a daily jackpot of points this weekend!
Powerball was loose for a lot of people last week so we might have another 49 or 69 coming off that. Somebody finally got the big 25K points off it.

Cup and Oriliey both have a 30 streak coming and then there's 4 perfect season bonuses for all 3 series and fantasy so that's 2600 in bonus points coming soon to us. Just gotta hit our marks, take care of our tires and fuel, we'll be at the finish line for the win!

I'm guessing things may go a little faster not having the cure machine loaded full and being a warm room.
It says add water to the sponge after 24 hours but I'll check tonight and maybe add it then.

I haven't gone thru the DIY cannatrol thread or looked to deep into what you built in your box but there really isn't much to it.
No compressor so no major heat output is nice.
All I can really tell is that it has excellent control to balance the warmth with humidity to not get too cold and too dry or too warm and too dry. Like cold is great but if it's too dry it kill terps so I think it can moisturize the cold and not do that.
The mechanics are very basic and not much to it so I think it's money maker is it's control panel electronics. I guess the heat is peltier?
The small squirrel cage fan inside is just a $10 part off ebay and the air channel could be 3D printed. Not sure what else there is too it but doesn't seem like much

Our win was ugly but it's a win and I'm happy!

I was skeptical but now I'm not



Usually after harvest and to dry I need to cool the whole room down with an AC to get 70 degrees and 55% RH. It takes about 550 watts to do it as well and it stops the grow room production until the crop dries and the room can be warmed back up to grow again.
Now, with this micro climate the room can keep on growing while this thing does drying duties and since it's door is solid, no worries about the grow lights being on. If I got the old model with glass door I was planning on blacking it out with a wrap or something since it would be in the same room as my garden.

I wasn't sure if it could get cool enough in a warm room but it damn sure does! 68 in 90 degree room is good enough for the ladies I run with!

I too was shocked that my unit cooled down properly in my space also.
All the instructions said the room temp mattered, but mine has been in 90f also and done exactly what it was meant to do.
When I first read what the directions said I really figured it was not going to work where I put it and I would have to bring it into a controlled space.
Glad yours is working out also.

Yeah he's in Vermont and I've ordered both direct and from GLG.
My next grow will be almost all Anthos stuff because it's going to be a charas grow and I tapped him for all of his chara stuff and more. I believe these chara strains are haze hybrids with all the glory of good haze but a faster flowering and finish time.
You get more freebies going direct but there's stuff he has direct not at GLG and visa versa.
I dropped Mexican Beach Weed because it's description was spooky close to ARC other than name and source.

What's stood out so far is really good looking healthy seeds and a 100%, speedy germ rate.
Consistency is the big deal because seeds pop together and grow together at the same solid growth rate. Lots of vigor out of the gate so with that happening and other seeds popping slow or not at all, inconsistent, pig tails while being set vertical, the Anthos seeds start getting more and more attention by not doing any of that. Of everything the past two multi breeder/source drops, Anthos has been the only 100%.

Working as advertised is nice in 2026 because that's rare, and a bonus is it's weight and size.
Being light as it is I have it up on my table so the bottom shelf is waist high standing next to it. My back is happy because I was thinking it would need to sit on the floor.
If I could add or change anything I would add the ability to do a vacuum cycle so periodically thru the different cycles you could pull a vacuum on it for a day or two then go back to the process just to throw in a zero oxygen option for custom processes.

As-is though, what I'm seeing is about as perfect as it gets when it comes to drying water hash. I know they made these things for flowers but I had a feeling it could help me a ton with hash too...




I think I'll cut the dry at two days so tomorrow I'll take it out and press and fold it.
Will make balls or cannolis then put them back in the machine on the cure setting.
The little bits that fall off have been sacrificing themselves as samples as I test the process. 2 rice size bits have me tore up and all kinds of red eyed
