If anybody is wondering, yes that's ancient Roman ruins in the background and yes that's the #88 JRM machine driven by Connor Zillich, doing donuts in those ruins. ;smoke

Joey Gase gets it!

My last adventure had me exhaust all of my supplies from seeds to soils to nutes.
Kinda fun shopping for that stuff restocking and trying to make good choices.
Seeds and soils are probably most difficult for me to get quality at a good price.

To start off, I have some known female seeds from bagseed. Couple trop cherry from Stoney and some other stuff off the rolling tray.
Kind of seeds where you never saw a hermie during the grow but you crumble a bud to roll a doob and a seed falls out. Well I have about a dozen of those from unknown strains.

I also shopped local for seeds. Big believer in shopping local when I can. His selection is Crop King, Ethos, Equilibrium, Fast Buds, and a few others.
I chose Ethos MC Nuggets from the local. It's from the Wrank family in the Ethos universe and being super impressed with Wrank R1, went for it's sister cut.
Ethos can be hit or miss though. I haven't had a whole pack from Ethos get to 100% germ rates yet so I have other brands locked and loaded as well.

For my online source I went with Growers Choice. Always had good luck and results from them.
They go a little bonkers with all the free swag. Plant labels are pretty cool though and never seen that from a seed bank.
Not sure who the breeders are and TBH, DGAF. Just looking for good pot without any drama and this seems like just as good of guess as any.
Very much dispo grade but we'll see if equipment and skill can maybe get something great out of them.
I also plan on continuing my quest to grow Vietnamese sativas indoors. That shit has gotten personal now

Soil shopping has been a fucking nightmare. Well maybe not that bad but frustrating.
Fox Farm is in abundance at great pricing as well as Roots Original but both are middle of the pack grade and quality.
I like super soils and I'm too lazy to make my own most days but now I'm kinda forced into it if I want that black gold.
Like fucking Tyrone Biggums out here trying to get my hands on some dirt!

Screenshot 2025-07-29 173426.jpg

I have two 3cuft bags of Roots 707 en route but have also stocked up this little hoarder supply

IMG_1911[1].jpeg

From Fox farm I have some Happy Frog and Cream of the Crop coco/perlite.
Organic Mechanics is in with their 110 Blend. This should be a just add water type soil.
Coast of Maine is in with the lobster and crab compost as well as a sack of worm castings and bricks of coco chunks which need to be hydrated and triple rinsed before I can add them to any mix.
The compost and castings will be the tea I feed to these ladies. Along with that but not shown....crab meal, yucca extract, and Great White also go in the tea.

My plan is to use compost teas for the whole feeding routine but this is 'Murica and I like to dabble so I'll try to do some more things bridging hydro and organics together.
Wasn't sure which direction to go here. Been a very long time since I've shopped for hydro nutes and TBH, shit is fucking weird now.

I went with Fox Farm Cultivation Nation from HTG. Several reasons for that being I could fucking recognize it as nutes and the price was insanely reasonable getting gallon size jugs at quart prices, quarts at pint prices, and $20 to get it all shipped to my door.
IDK if HTG is going out of business but they damn sure have some going out of business pricing happening.

Lights are the same as previous grows...Two AC Infinity and one CLW up top. UV too.
Enviornment is all AC Infinity AI Ecosystem controlling 8 air movers, 2 inlines, 2 lights, and monitors soil moisture.
Pulse Pro monitors PPFD & CO2 and everything in between. Not needed but nice device to have handy.
Hydrofarm Autopilot pH doser manages the 50 gallon filtered tap water supply.
Other additions are stuff like hydraulic tables, orbital fan, wall mount fan, AC, heater, and a ceiling fan.
Pest control/prevention is keeping things clean, orange oil as cleaner and barrier, pyrethrum bombs for infestations. 3D printed DIY yellow sticky traps if needed.

So that's pretty much the plan for this 2025/26 year in growing dang ol, weed, Yo!

Nice mixing up the soils.
I have to think some of my best grows were mixed.
I am still one of the few that really like Ethos. About to harvest the latest seeds I got from them.
They were 100% germ rate for what I tried out of pack. I popped 4 out of the 7 I think. Candy Store.
I like the Fox Farm nutes and have found deals where buying anything less than gallons or 15 pound jars was a huge waste of money.
Only one I haven't used all of yet is the 3 finishers that are used 1 teaspoon per gallon that I have 15lbs of each~!
Psyched to see the Hill grow~!

I'm on the fence with Ethos. When they hit, it's a grand slam. But when they fail, holy shit it's pure hot garbage.
Seen a couple GPS style mutants as well as 50/50 and even worse, 10/90 germ rates in their packs.
Ethos is a collective of breeders so it's really a matter of finding the good ones. The Wrank cut, the candies, and the pillow stuff are getting great reviews. Heard bad shit about the Mandarins and the cookies are hit and miss. POTG is a great strain but has horrible germ rates at around 50/50 in recently released packs.
This pack of MCN is a make or break for me and Ethos really. 100% germ rate I'll shop again but if it's another 50/50 or less, see ya Ethos!

Buying bulk is my preferred choice as well but the prices at HTG are better than bulk right now. This seems to be a clearance. It's not just FoxFarm either. Looks like almost 50% off on all sizes. This is just base stuff but there's a ton of supplies marked down on the whole site.

Ethos blows...........only 3 out of 12 strains I've done were worth it. Saving grace is they breed for heavy weight in most strains, so good or bad- you'll have a lot of it. lol

Boomhower is the greatest! I’d pay money to hear him read the Gettysburg address!

Yep. ;giggle
There's so much that cracks me up in that show. Boomhauer is awesome! Dale is a pure trip of crazy and is probably my fave. Tom Petty as Lucky was always comedy gold. Also love Peggy and her bold confidence speaking Spanish 🤣
Usually I wait for a full season to drop before I get into it but it's been 15 years and I aint waiting! Watch parties are all over town tomorrow so I'll try to find a 420 friendly one to drop in on.

does the character in that animation actually wear a 19 hat?

.

another runner up spot for brisky huh?!?! he's chompin at it now!!! with only a few weeks left there's not a better time to hot right now!!! like whe your plants are thriving hard going into flowering!! hehehe

larson was acting like a little bitch on sunday!! she got her panties all soiled when the 24 and 9 raced him so hard.. whahhh.. !!!! and then the 20 got into im and that was it.. you should have heard him on the radio.. and then he fuckin punted the 10 on purpose because he got into him a little bit the lap before. the 10 was laps down with a torn up race car.. larson was in like 25th bitching about it.. well drive faster.. and the announcers totally swept that under the rug and didn't show the footage.. but i can!!!!

this is just dirty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and then he brags about it.. not good at all.... i hope somebody close to him called him out on it..

.

hey i know you like protein bars and had some of these recently and i really liked them.. was wondering if you ever had one?

King of the Hill was fun. There were times, with the right haircut, I’d look like Hank or Bobby. 🤣

I like how they didn’t just continue on like the Simpsons but aged the characters. Bobby looks about 25 now.

I switched up my game as well. Moved to Gaia Green and some KNF. Practicing on the veggies and the GDP Autos. Considering the crappy seasons this year I think it’s doing great so far but we are at the hard stage now, 30 days to go…

Used to watch the Chappelle Show. That was LOL for sure.

I’ve got most of my grow planned out and new equipment to test and try. Not sure about the seeds yet. VG will be used as it’s still warm here in September/October.

Wish us both luck 🍀

My heart sank when I saw your new theme .Here's 1 vote for bring back the space station. I've never watched that cartoon for more than a few min at a time, not a fan of animation I guess but your space station was awesome. Along with your Aliens overlooking your buds with an evil eye it was perfect and you had to go mess it up.....lol...here's a Boo from the northern sidelines.

You ever change your computer screen background? 🤔

Sometimes you just need a change. But I have to admit the space station was cool. Always a smile.

I blurt before I think sometimes, I have to realize the sensitivity of others and not poo poo their creations, where everyone wins with smiley faces all around. lol...lol...lol... I was born wrong decade me thinks...lol....I didn't take me no sensitivity classes, neither did my teachers. It could be my head whack or the news I just read. Nova Scotia has shut down all trails in the province that we use to ride out bikes on because of fire fears.....

The Nova Scotia government has announced it's banning hiking, camping, fishing and use of vehicles such as ATVs in the woods as of 4 p.m. Tuesday due to an elevated wildfire risk.

Camping in campgrounds is still permitted, but trail systems through woods are off-limits under the new rules.

The rules are in place for provincial Crown and private land until Oct. 15 or until weather conditions allow them to be lifted.

The fine for violating the ban is $25,000.

The public can still access beaches and parks, except for trail systems.

Already replied in your thread. I get the problem, solution could have been better.

But even no fire signs get ignored by those who feel it doesn’t apply to them.

As for smiling faces all around…
According to my son I have resting bitch face. I just expect the worst and occasionally find myself happily surprised. 🤷‍♂️

Liking the approach on seed banks.... That's w what I did when I went looking for new strains.....

With the way I've seen most strains turn out in recent it's all a crap shoot at this point...

That black gold with the tomatoes on it, I wouldn't be afraid to use it for a base.

I have 2 that did just fine on just water and whatever else was left after feeding the main garden....FYI...

NEW FRESH...I DIG IT!!

larson was acting like a little bitch on sunday!! she got her panties all soiled when the 24 and 9 raced him so hard.. whahhh.. !!!! and then the 20 got into im and that was it.. you should have heard him on the radio.. and then he fuckin punted the 10 on purpose because he got into him a little bit the lap before. the 10 was laps down with a torn up race car.. larson was in like 25th bitching about it.. well drive faster.. and the announcers totally swept that under the rug and didn't show the footage.. but i can!!!!

this is just dirty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha no I put that sticker on him just like his shirt is a H&G Nutes shirt and Boomhaur with the 88. They'll all be sticker bombed before this is over.

The 19 has speed! The pure, hot, nasty baddass speed that made Eleanor Roosevelt moist! 🤣
It's coming together with that combo of comfort in his seat and a great team. He's an awe shucks midwest nice guy but his team is a bunch of pitbulls. Nice combo. Finally working with Smalls too. Little early, but shit man if he can find his way into the final four that would be nuts!
This 2nd stings a bit more than a few weeks ago. Car just didn't have that little extra and he made enough mistakes to cost him but it was there for the taking.
That turn one entry was diabolical so really just happy to survive and get top 10.
I wa6tched in car for and extended time Sunday and found myself grabbing for something to hold onto when he was dicing up thru traffic. Hate that big ass bar in his window though.

Yeah I haven;t really wanted to say much about it but WTF is up with Larson going full tilt diva? Like he's been menstruating since the Double.
The $85 autograph back at COTA rubbed us a bit but whatever. Wife's been calling him "Eighty Five Dollar Larson" since. Something, anything, goes wrong with that 5 car, she says it costs $85 to fix it. She obsessed:ROFLMAO:
He made an ass of himself up in Indy and may have burned bridges with the Indicar garage.
He's ran well overall and had his bad days like everybody. July wasn't too kind but he bounced back last week.
IDK man, but yeah that's pretty slimy.
Lap cars are like road cones, just drive around them. They get all the shit over the radio and they know they suck that day so why pile on? I'm even all for a car fighting it's ass off on a leader to not go a lap down and if that means the pack catches the leader then so be it. But yeah no need for that.

Really the only bars I eat are those ice cream bars from kind. If more nutrition bars made ice cream versions I'd go for those too. Like to me, a winner would be a granola & almond bar stuffed with dairy free ice cream coated in dark chocolate:love:

3 races left before the cut and this ones an RC? If I was SVG I'd be looking over my shoulder. Somebody might kidnap him until after the race.
Sirius Radio is saying Ford is pretty desperate and gonna try to run a train to get cars in. Looking for at least one win and one get in on points and saying RFK will have all Fords helping them when they can.

A GAS grill is the only way GOD meant food to be cooked!

At least it's not butane!

Right on man! Best of luck!
I'd like to maybe get into some coco/perlite hempy and going over options.

Loved the Chappelles Show too man! Legends like Clayton Bigsby, Rick James, Prince playing basketball 🤣

WTF TOM?...... Good thing you grow cool flowers....those are fighting words buddie.....🤨

Well I use pellets but even us pellet guys will question the life choices of one who chooses to BBQ with gas. ;smoke

Every time there's a change in the art, a little bit of the old lives on in the new.
So high up in the rafters, there's a port side view of the space station and a few ornery old broads wishing it a good farewell!

The lights fade out these murals so I'll change it every year.
This year Hulu brought back this show and also started selling life size cutouts.
I was shopping for the next mural but knew then, the KOTH fellas would be the choice. It was just a matter of background.
Yeah KOTH isn't just a show or cartoon for me. It's made by local about this town and state. I've been to backyard parties with the creator and a few of the voices and many are gone now. It's means something special here in Austin, Texas.
Without going to far into it, I'll just say there was no way it wouldn't be KOTH with the show coming back.
Some of the movie work from those guys are movies like Office Space and Idiocracy. You may like those.

The background was another animal. The guys in a space station lounge was considered. An 80's style neon arcade, graffiti wall like a NYC subway car, sandy beach, apocalyptic world burning with a blood thirsty dinosaur in the city streets, under water ocean scene, Egyptian tomb, and ancient Roman ruins were all on the table and I went Roman due to my love for history.
I'd say yeah the space station was as much to be a crowd pleaser as it was to make me happy in my room but this one is all for me.

Liking the approach on seed banks.... That's w what I did when I went looking for new strains.....

With the way I've seen most strange turn out in recent it's all a crap shoot at this point...

That black gold with the tomatoes on it, I wouldn't be afraid to use it for a base.

I have 2 that did just fine on just water and whatever else was left after feeding the main garden....FYI...

NEW FRESH...I DIG IT!!

✌️

I was even thinking I may place a seed order from the UK. They're still running the same shit from years back and it hasn't been molested and fuck bred by American pollen chuckers yet. Things have come full circle so it seem.

My 707 soil got here today and I'm working on something of a rat rod light.
Trying to decide what I'll drop and can't. Purple Hindu Kush and Chocolate Chunk are callling me to do them.
I want some knock out afghani in my stash That woody, floral kind of indica. No more of the sweet shit.
The skunk is in the Vietnamese stash. Trying to get into those three...floral, wood, skunk, and totally avoid baby shit and chemmy fruit fuel in this grow

I'm on that same kind of search..... I did an order overseas here a couple weeks ago I think, attitude seed Bank.

I went and bought another pack of the super booth because the original shipment from crop Kings got held up in Alaska.
And 2 of 3 are up and awaiting their new pots.....

I get the old stuff man..... I don't recognize anything anymore to be honest with you I can't even find a reliable bubba Kush.

Or at least one I know is what it's supposed to be. Hopefully this vortex is what it is, only option is to keep looking.

he's been getting some good playoff points too, and in my opinion thats huge! get enough playoff points and if ya happen to have a bad week you have a little cushion to fall on.

hey speaking of playoff points, have you seen the 17 team with -4 playoff points? i didn't even know negative points were a thing. is there a penalty or something that takes them away?

I wa6tched in car for and extended time Sunday and found myself grabbing for something to hold onto when he was dicing up thru traffic. Hate that big ass bar in his window though.

yeah i agree man, i wish they would move that cam over a few inches. it might have something to do with car layout and they might have something required in that same spot. larson has the bar too but his camera is pinned against the right side, makes it feel like i'm in an old jeep CJ holding on to the oh shit handle cruzing through corn fields!!!! hahaha

Yeah I haven;t really wanted to say much about it but WTF is up with Larson going full tilt diva? Like he's been menstruating since the Double.

watkins glen was an awesome track to see a road race at.. i'm not sure if they still do it but you could buy an infield ticket for $12 and move around and hang out at six different corners. for like 20 years that $12 cost never changed.. i don't think they even offer the infield anymore.

the glen is a aggressive road race too.. easy and quick to have a bad day!!!! tough on drivers too.. hopefully it's not too hot there this weekend.

Every time there's a change in the art, a little bit of the old lives on in the new.

just like pixar!!!! ;roc

attitude?!?!? now thats some old school seed buying right there!!!!! i might have an old tshirt from them!! hahaha

I honestly don't see much difference between nearly all hybrids today. I've given up on the names but there are red flag names I avoid.
Really today, there's more attention than ever being paid to names and no quality. It's stupid. Every pollen chucker out there thinking they've got something new and hype it up and it's always the same thing.
Don't care what fruit is in the name, it's all baby shit/babyfood aroma glossed over as grape, cherry, mango etc. It's all the same thing and tests in the same potency range. It's also regressing. The chems from 5 years ago are about 5% more potent than today's chems. There's nothing that stands out in hybrids other than weight. You don't even have to try and you get a fat haul so I suppose that's why they're so popular. Hermies are killing that weight though because even if you can save a hermie, it's yield is killed by up to two thirds.
The frost is false potency as well.

Interesting you mention the bubba because that's the Chocolate Chunk cross. It's out of Amsterdam where the bubba came from an unknown Afghani and crossed with Chocolope. This should be an indica leaning hybrid but is not 100% indica.
Sample pics are that classic indica of chunky flowers with purps, blues, dark green, gold, and red. Aroma should be floral and savory like an incense.

thats cool man, you did a great job blending it in!!!!!!

Yeah the #17 had that penalty early and I think he's made up everything other than the playoff points.
If he makes it in I think along with Berry, SVG, and Cindric will be first eliminated. IDK, but I'll be surpised if a Ford wins the Cup again this year.

I've been browsing the 'Tude as well and it's like a walk down memory lane. Might do a Bodhi run in the near future as well and am shopping landrace options.
I'm also thinking about making an order for this ol gal and give her another run at it

🔥

Decided to run all indica then the next grow, commit to sativas for a long Winter grow.
Today I dropped 5x Choco Chunk, 5x Purple Hindu Kush, and 5x Ethos M.C. Nuggets.
15 seeds total. Hoping for at least 12 plants. Fewer than 8 will be dissapointing.
Using a VG, spring water, and blurple CLW.

Well I have 3 Bubba that came free from seedsman. I'd like to trust it. But don't want to play guess what i am game this next run.
The chocolate has mye eyes pierced a bit.

Next time I talk to the hippie ill ask what in his vault. Never know.
I've got the next run i belive unless I change.

Judging by the size I have going now on the 820 side, I would say your spot on with hybrid weight deal considering I did nothing but supply the water and light.

Anyway yup

This recent grow I pretty much gave up[ after the Vietnamese plants started to fail me. I moved them outside but kept the hybrids indoors.
I neglected the hybrids for the second half of flower.
Ran out of plant food early so no nutes. No mycos either. Ran them dry a few times and over watered a few times too. Bad pH thru the whole deal. Room temps in the hi 90s. Basically a real shit show of a grow well below normal standards.
I'm still chopping them, but here's an example of hybrids from two different breeders or brands as I now call them.
Yeah fuckers aint breeding anything, they're branding the shit

IMG_1946[1].jpeg

That's what I mean by you don't even have to try with them. You don't need a perfect room or really much of anything dialed in and they'll do what they do growing large buds on weakly branches that need support. Terps are a combo of loaded baby dookie diaper, stale sweet syrup, and fruit punch drink but like an audio equalizer with bass, treble, and mid adjusted to different levels for each terp. So in one the syrup dominates and another the baby shit dominates but it's those same three terps in the varying hybrids.
The yield just comes without trying. Like it's so fucking weird when people ask what will yield the most? Fuck dude, grow a hybrid and in 120 days you'll have more weed than you know what to do with! But you'll also be smoking several joints a day of this shit because you'll never find a one hitter quitter in hybrid stock.

ain't that the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! freakin logos and icons for a breed!! i've learned the bigger the hype the bigger the disappointment anymore.

And now there's AI written descriptions and art on packs of seeds. I don't trust anything unless it was being grown back in 1998 ;smoke
Weed just got weird man. Legal weed and probably carts have something to do with it because in the before times it was pretty much two things....couchlock and head high. One makes you lazy and comfy, relieves lots of pain, the other makes you trip balls and giggle. Both make ya hungry.
Somewhere along the lines couchlock became a dirty word but I'm bringing it back...and with pride!!!:ROFLMAO:

Nowadays, Motherfuckers be asking for weed like it's a damn coffee order...I'd like a strawberry mango & sweet cream preroll with an energy shot and CBD infusion? Like dude, WTF, it's weed? Weed!
That's why I make my dispo orders online so I don't have to hear all the weird shit people ask budtenders;hookah

Trying to squeeze in some garden time today between football practices so on the agenda today.....
Finish a 3D print for the garden
Drop some Vietnamese seeds to try and grow a mother than clone her rather than start from seeds later in the year.
Also make progress on the light adding UV and supplement but also going to attempt to tie in a CLW light with AC Infinity control. I doubt I'll have channel control if it works but I'm hoping I can at least control timing and dimming.

Wonder Woman strain you say…
IMG_5739.jpeg

Wrapping my head around what I'm working with.

IMG_1956[1].jpeg

Interesting dry coco/perlite is at 19% moisture. Active water brings it too 100% then seconds later and drained, only 45% then holds there as it dries back down to 20%.

Initial run off ppm is well over 1000ppm. Second wash only 350. Base was 200 so it seems FoxFarm's Cream of the Crop requires at least one rinse thru before planting.

pH , very interesting and I may not need to adjust.
Water going in was at 7.5 and on exit, 5.0. Second and 3rd wash only came back up to 5.5. Very likely that if I mix my nutes with the base of 9.0 and water at that range then it will be adjusted by the coco/perlite to around 6.5

I do love the look of the CotC blend though. It's drain speed is as fast if not faster than Xfinity mobile internet.
Starting to lean heavy into this idea of running coco/perlite hempy.
