Kuwl...... MH FC 8000 EVO + 6 Plants

Do you cook with any of it? I make/ wife makes gummies after I decarb and boil in MCT oil. she eats 2 small gummy pucks/night to help with sleep. I have a new batch for her on now, I'll let it cook until 9:30 tonight then squeeze out the oil. Her last batch wasn't very strong so I made up for it this time, I was short on weed the last batch and had too much oil with not enough weed.
I've tried making gummies and it never goes well.
Maybe I'll try again with this much weed.
MCT oil that like coconut oil?
Maybe I need a new recipe.

Not sure what this is about but the price difference is worth investigation if you are interested in one or 2.
https://vivosun.com/crowdfunding/vcure
Yes, def interested but missed the crowd funding $699 offer, dam, so now it's $999 and free shipping.
They'll ship out in 5-10 days.
With tax it's $1100 but there is a coupon for $119 I think.
Looking at it now.
After tax it's $949 not bad and my finger is itching to pull the trigger on it lol.

Oh boy hope I'm not in trouble when this thing gets here!!
Time to suk up to wifey, maybe rub her feet or somthin' hahaha
Dam! $945 but worth it imo it's a needed thing.
Now maybe I can turn the wine cooler into one too!
Then I'll have enough room to dry it all incase I get another monster bush lol.
I'm gonna blame you guys ;doobies

If it works as good as the cannatrol you will be happy with the purchase. I flower 8 plants at a time i just harvest 4 plants at a time and put in cannatrol its no big deal to let 4 have a week longer in growth.

I've tried making gummies and it never goes well.
Maybe I'll try again with this much weed.

MCT oil
(medium-chain triglycerides) is a dietary supplement, often derived from coconut or palm kernel oil, that offers a rapid, direct-to-liver energy source. Popular in ketogenic diets, it boosts ketone levels, potentially supporting weight management, enhanced cognitive function, and improved workout endurance. It is often used in coffee, smoothies, or dressings, but should be introduced slowly to avoid digestive discomfort.

My wife prefers it to Coconut oil, there's very little taste to it other than a smooth oil. I tasted some last night, no after taste, nothing, maybe just a touch of sweetness to it if anything.

I use a double boiler with 2-3oz of weed and a 32oz bottle of oil I end up with about 28-29oz oil. Her recipe calls for 1/4 cup of oil at a time and she makes 12 gummies, out of it and that's good for 6 nights but she doesn't smoke so it effects her but not me.

AI gave me this about a recipe for canna gummies,
long read tho but not sure how you or wifey do it PC.

how do I make canna gummies out of MCT oil

Making cannabis gummies with MCT oil requires an emulsifier (like lecithin) to prevent the oil from separating from the gelatin mixture.
MCT oil is an ideal carrier because it is flavorless and remains liquid at room temperature.
Ingredients

Infused MCT Oil: 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup.

Water or Fruit Juice: 1/2 cup (cold).

Flavored Gelatin (e.g., Jell-O): One 3 oz or 6 oz packet.

Unflavored Gelatin: 2 to 4 tablespoons (roughly 3-4 packets) for firmness.

Lecithin (Liquid or Powder): 1/2 to 2 teaspoons. This is critical for binding the oil and water.

Optional: 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon citric acid (for tartness and preservation) or 1 teaspoon potassium sorbate (for long-term shelf stability).

Step-by-Step Instructions

Bloom the Gelatin

Combine the cold water and unflavored gelatin in a small bowl.
Stir until incorporated and let it sit (bloom) for 5–10 minutes until it becomes thick and rubbery.
Combine Oil and Emulsifier
In a small saucepan over low heat, whisk together your infused MCT oil (did not explain this step, does it mean the combined canabus and oil??) and lecithin.
Stir until they are completely blended and the mixture is consistent.

Mix the Base

Add the flavored gelatin and your bloomed gelatin to the saucepan.
Continue to whisk constantly on low to medium-low heat.

Crucial: Do not let the mixture reach a rolling boil, as high heat can denature the gelatin and degrade the cannabinoids.

Homogenize
Whisk the mixture steadily for 5 to 10 minutes.
You want a smooth, uniform consistency with no oil streaks visible on the surface.
Some makers use a milk frother

Fill the Molds

Use a dropper, syringe, or squeeze bottle to transfer the liquid into silicone gummy molds.
Work quickly, as the mixture will begin to set as it cools.

Set and Cure

Set: Place the molds in the refrigerator for at least 30–60 minutes (or the freezer for 20 minutes) until firm.

Cure: For a better "chew," remove the gummies from the molds and let them air dry on parchment paper for 24–48 hours before storing.
This allows excess moisture to evaporate.

Pro Tips for Success

Avoid Foam: If a white foam forms on top while heating, you can gently skim it off with a spoon for clearer gummies.

Storage: Store finished gummies in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator to prevent mold and maintain potency.

Mold Release: If you have trouble removing them, a very light spray of coconut oil on the molds before filling can help.

Calculating the dosage of your gummies involves determining the total milligrams of THC in your MCT oil and then dividing that by the number of gummies in your batch.
The Master Formula

To find the strength of a single gummy, use this calculation:

Step-by-Step Calculation Guide
1. Determine Total Potential THC
Start by identifying the amount of THC in your raw flower. One gram of cannabis equals 1,000mg of weight.

Example: If you use 7g of flower at 20% THC

2. Account for Infusion Efficiency
You will never transfer 100% of the THC from the plant material into the MCT oil. A standard estimated "transfer rate" for home infusions is approximately 70% to 80%.

Formula:

Example: Using the 1,400mg from above:

Formula: Example: If your batch made 50 gummies:

980 mg divided by 50 = 19.6 mg per gummy

Quick Reference Table
Estimated dosage per gummy using 1/4 cup (approx. 60ml) of infused MCT oil (assuming 70% infusion efficiency):
Flower Amount Flower THC% Total mg in Oil 50 Gummies 100 Gummies
3.5g (1/8 oz) 15% 367 mg ~7.3 mg/ea ~3.7 mg/ea
3.5g (1/8 oz) 20% 490 mg ~9.8 mg/ea ~4.9 mg/ea
7g (1/4 oz) 15% 735 mg ~14.7 mg/ea ~7.4 mg/ea
7g (1/4 oz) 20% 980 mg ~19.6 mg/ea ~9.8 mg/ea

Important Safety Note

Since homemade infusions aren't lab-tested, these numbers are only estimates.
Variations in decarboxylation temperature and infusion time can change potency.
Always test one gummy and wait at least 2 hours before consuming more to gauge the actual strength.

Do you have the specific THC percentage or amount of flower you used so I can run the exact numbers for you?
NO

No problem! Since you're working with unknowns, the best approach is to follow the "Low and Slow" rule for your first batch.

How to "Test" Your Potency Safely

Start with Half: Eat only half of one gummy for your first dose.
The 2-Hour Rule: Edibles can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours to fully kick in.
Do not eat more until at least 2 hours have passed.

Keep Notes: Write down how many gummies your recipe made (e.g., "60 bear-sized gummies") and how you felt after one. This makes it much easier to adjust your next batch.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Separation: If you see oil "beading" on top of the gummies as they set, you didn't use enough lecithin or didn't whisk long enough.
You can melt them down on low heat, add more lecithin, and re-pour.

Mold: Because homemade gummies have high moisture and no professional preservatives, they can mold in 3–5 days at room temperature.
Always store them in the fridge or freezer.

Would you like a quick troubleshooting guide for common gummy texture issues, like if they turn out too slimy or too hard?
Yes
Making homemade gummies with MCT oil can be tricky because you're emulsifying fat into a water-based gelatin mixture.
If they don't come out perfect, you can usually fix them by remelting and adjusting the ingredients.

Troubleshooting Texture Issues

1. Slimy, Soft, or "Sweaty" Gummies
The Cause: Often caused by too much moisture, high humidity, or not enough gelatin.
If they "sweat" oil, it means the emulsion broke.

The Fix:

Air Dry (Cure): Let them sit out on parchment paper for 24–48 hours.
This allows excess water to evaporate, making them firmer and chewier.
Add More Gelatin: If they are truly too soft to handle, remelt them on low heat (under 160°F) and stir in another tablespoon of bloomed unflavored gelatin.
Dust with Cornstarch: A light coating of cornstarch or powdered sugar can absorb surface moisture and prevent them from sticking together.

2. Too Hard or Rubbery
The Cause: Usually results from overcooking the mixture at high temperatures or using a very low ratio of water to gelatin.

The Fix:
Remelt with Liquid: Gently melt the gummies back down and stir in 1–2 tablespoons of water or fruit juice to rehydrate the gelatin.
Add Corn Syrup: Incorporating a small amount of corn syrup or honey during the remelt can add a professional "chew" and prevent the gummies from becoming brittle.
3. Gritty Texture or "Hard Bits"
The Cause: This happens if the gelatin wasn't fully "bloomed" (soaked in cold liquid) before heating, or if it clumped when added to the pot.

The Fix:
Strain the Mixture: If you catch this while the mixture is still liquid, pour it through a fine-mesh strainer before filling your molds to catch the undissolved lumps.

Better Blooming: Next time, ensure you sprinkle the gelatin over the cold liquid and let it sit until it’s a thick, uniform gel.
4. Oil Separating (Oily Top Layer)
The Cause: Lack of an emulsifier (lecithin) or insufficient whisking.

The Fix:

Remelt and Emulsify: Melt them back down on low heat.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of liquid lecithin and use a milk frother or immersion blender to force the oil and gelatin to bind until the mixture is glossy and uniform.

Pro Storage Tip
To maintain the best texture, keep your finished gummies in an airtight glass jar in the refrigerator. If you live in a humid climate, adding a food-safe desiccant packet to the jar can prevent them from becoming sticky over time.

That sounds about right, my wife has been doing it for a few years now and they set pretty well. she does fk up every now and then but she's pretty good at it now. I don't measure really I just make sure the weed floats off the bottom of my pot in the double boiler, with the standard bottle

We've tried the 2 on the right, far right is what we just used
1775001124627.png

Been trying out some of the smoke and so far so good.
I mean the Sun Daze Haze is good buds and great smokin' then I tried the White Truffles (big bush one)
Buds are irratic and smallish so far with lots of fluffy stuff and things that look like tiny pods I guess.
Buds are soft and squishy too. ugh
Anyway I've tried it before outside once and it was very very good smoke.
So I ain't too picky but this shit is awful looking and hard to know what to discard cause it all looks like crap lol.
I take out the larger looking leaves and stem pieces of course and got a bunch to grind up in my larger hand grinder.
Hard on my wrist but I get thru it and what's there looks pretty good.
I pack a cone up and the weed is still a little on the moist side but light it up anyway.
Fk me up again! Said to wifey as I'm tryin' to help her out in the kitchen. "babe I'm a lil high"
She says "I can tell" we laughed!!! and I was very high again so I'm not smokin' that shit in the day time no mo'.
I guess ya can't tell weed by how pretty it looks.
I only got an ounce of LSD left so good timing on this grow.
IMG_7429.JPG
Kay Kay has assimilated back into the pack yaaeee!
I guess he fought his way back cause he's the most gentlest of them.
He could have been that way but he choose to hiss spit and fight them haha.
Gemtle as he can be, a wonderful cat to have in out lives.
IMG_7427.JPG
Finally got around to clean out the pots and put all the stuff away.
Had a warm day @ 70f but cold as a witches tit today @ 29f and windy.

Taking some pic's with my new toy magnifier.
They sell at Vivosun ($31 w/ship + tax)
but cheaper and you get an extra different one for cheaper at Amazon (Jarlink) ($15 + tax & free ship for me a prime member).
Anyway I like the size of it and I can take some better pic's with it too, it also has a UV light but didn't use it.
I can def see the difference in last grows tri's compared to this one.
Better much better, def more tri's mean I get more stoned lol.
The only one that does not look as good as the others is White Truffle bush.
Not that the whole plant was that bad but most was.
The other WT sm was about average looking buds. (Note that each WT I grew was a tot dif strain)
I've done gulmmies before and I'm not a fan but might take another crack at it with so much to deal with.

I like that tool!

For some reason it posted again when I clicked on it to see if it worked.
Second one could be deleted but no edit showed up for me when I posted.

Well tomorrow I get the VCure box from Vivosun.
Looking forward to seeing my new toy.
Holy crap it's 85 lbs.!! Breaking out the 2 wheel hand truck.

I got all my product in grovebags and they are all smokable now.
Been trying out some of them strains I grew and I like the Tangi-Dreams best so far, mainly
cause it's pretty smooth and has a nice mellow n hashy taste to it.
But so far no clunkeers and no seeds. Runtz is really good too.
In fact, I'm going to have to try them all again, to be sure. haha
I been gettin' high a lot cause of the shitty weather. Rain Cold Rain Cold
I did get my tractor fixed, it was the starter, I replaced along with the solonoid.
I charged the battery and it started right up :) so cut the lawn on the one Sunny day we had.

Wonder if there is a better way to store this than the grove bags.
Kinda bulky and ya can't stack em'.
My toy chest is full, I cannot put any more in it.;pirate

Store them in your new Vcure when you get it.

Got the VCure V80 I think they call it, anyway It was heavy lol.
I waited at the gate so he could see me and all I heard was this loud banging.....bang.....bang..bang
then he came around the back side of the truck and got out the 2 wheeler and went to the front side again.
Finally he came around with the box, a pretty large box.
He took it all the way down the walk and put it on the porch. I cut the straps off and cut open the box to see if any damage.
None, whew! They packed it very well.
8 chrome wire shelves, an inside light an a charcoal filter + an extra one.
Glass on the front door will tint to hide or clear to see inside.
Instructions are vague at best. I'll have to find a vid.
But they did spend a lot of time on translating to 8 dif languages!
IMG_7486.JPG
Well here it is, it's bigger than expected and heavy too. >
IMG_7482.JPGIMG_7483.JPG
I didn't know where to put it lol to heavy to lug downstairs, besides the cellar has damp issues.
Might end up in my room if I can make room.
Wifey not to happy bout this but she gets her $ any week now so she not too mad lol.

Very cool, is envy a bad thing?. The 1 item that would complete my growing and you got it. Still close to $3000.00 Cdn delivered and that's a no go for me. I'll have to watch your success and dream about what could be. ..................Very nice. Do you have a crop to dry still? I kinda thought you were finished your last grow and had it all jarred/bagged up

Yep, finished and bagged but I can use it for storage until.
I got a deal on it so that's why the premature trigger pull.
Still, a bag full of $ for sure. It'll take me forever to pay for it.

I will be using it on the next harvest, jan or feb 27, until then I plan on storing some or most of my weed in VCure.
It has several modes that are not explained in the shitty manual.
I veiwed a short vid and it showed a page I do not have in mine.
Which is informative so why they took it out idk.
Here's a screen shot of it

I'll put some of my harvest into "Cold Store" to keep it fresh.

I looked at the $1499 USA and doubled it to get my home delivery price, That's been close in the past, at that price its better than what they have to pay down south, $1500 is almost doable

Ah,.....I relooked at that page and its $1499 CDN with a 10% discount....I assumed that was a USA price ...hmmmm

That's cool and nice to see that someone besides Cannatrol has figured this out.
Should make this a little more down to earth cost wise for many as time goes by.

It doesn't look like its all that complicated to make them. Cannatrol has taken advantage because there's no competition for home growers. Come on Spiderfarmer / Mars/ AC lets get that price down

I got a discount and ended up paying $945 after tax.lol
I think it was 20% off but the more it cost the higher the discount.
I charged it so will pay it off in time.
I finished loading it up, just now.

The only problem is the wire racks don’t catch all the buds and the smaller ones drop through so I have to bang it a little bit and tap it till the all fall through before I put it in the VCure.

This is all the crap I got from the white truffles bush. The buds on that plant were very weird and not normal looking with a lot of scrap.

I'm looking at them, if you have success and like it I may bite. Do you have to use an App on your phone to use it? I watched a Youtube guy show his off and he had to fk with an App on his phone. He showed lots of graphs and set points and blah blah blah all the data you need for a nice dry...????? I want to push a button that says it'll be dry in 10 days or what ever & cya in 10 days flashes on the screen. I like the lights and glass, that's very cool. It also said something about 2.5 lbs can be dried. None of the video's showed the cabinets full. Do you think its big enough to hold that much?

That left over can be used for cooking, with all of you buds nicely taken care of.

Yes I have the Vivosun app that adds devices to it but you don't have to have or use it, all controls are on the door.
Pretty easy to use, I think the controls on the door are harder cause there is no explaination on how to use it.
The manual has about 4 pages of non usable stuff on it. Maintenance, cleaning and tips lol No pic's at all.
I need pictures with vivid expainations and diagrams with arrows lol.
I'll look up a vid eventually if I need to.

It dries and cures in as little as 8 days I believe (Quick cure mode)
Not sure if I ever need to do it quickly tho.
After curing it will store indefitly and that is probably the most reason to use for me.
Getting a fridge to stay at the right temp and humidity lvl day in and day out is the thing.
It's got a tray for catching at the bottom and under that is a pan to put water in for moisture control.
I think I use that as needed. If conditions are dry in house I guess.

Held all of my crop! Prob a good 2 lbs. Although I crammed the fluffy and wierd White truffles on 2 trays.
The door has a lock also.

Pic in a previoous post above shows it full of my weed. 2lbs at least.

If your storing you will want to keep a little water in pan for moisture control.
