Well I will state: I will be an Outlaw till I die! Texas be damned, Tennessee too, where I was born. Craft cannabis, like we here, want to grow and consume will always come from "Small Craft Farmers" like our 16 or less lighter rooms we improvise! They are purposely ruining it, while pretending to be about giving the small guys a chance, and rectifying past criminal charges from it. In NY you need to have someone who went to jail over it to be able to try to get a license.
They are all setup to fail IMO. As politicians screw up everything they are involved with.
A year or 2 ago I bought $6k worth of MSOS stock. All it does it go up and down based on rumors it will finally be federally legalized. Thinking it would be a good way to make money, like getting in early with beer and alcohol companies. Then I read that would never be the case based on how things turned out in Canada after their government legalized it.
I cut my loses and sold it all at a $3k loss, so I could offset $3k of income taxes. I'd rather just get 5.3% in a money market than watch it go up and down while having a high expense ratio for literally doing nothing.
I'm sure after all the little guys are forced to call it quits the tobacco and alcohol companies will swoop in. I'm sure the politicians have their kick backs lined up.
