Aloha from Oregon! lol born and raised Maui, recently relocated to Oregon. Retired disabled and couldn’t afford to live on island anymore! Priced out!! Grew up in Lahaina and then my Ohana moved to Kihei it’s been 17 years now in Kihei. 3 years in Oregon, been growing organically for ions. Started herbin since the early 80s growing since 99’ never outdoors which I didn’t have the opportunity to do!, and getting busted back then was a serious and lengthy jail time so outta fear started Fukkin around with Metal halides and HPS bulbs then eventually the innovation of L.E.D.S came along and was hella intrigued by its design and how it didn’t hit you in the pocket on electricity. Started with blurples cheap Chinese LEDs to state of the art LEDs! I miss Maui but Oregon has been awesome I’m finally growing outdoors during summer and indoors during winter. Gotta say though after all those years growing indoors it was fun and upsetting at the same time for outdoors!! lol growing wasn’t the problem! It was the fukkin insects lol esp butterflies and moths! I thought it was pretty and cool for pictures only to find out later that those turds laid their baby caterpillars on my plants! Lmao anyways I have no friends to chat with I do most of my friend making on instagram lol but I’m finding out theirs a lot of fake people on there and most just wants free gear or hate on you while acting to be your buddy. And again there is a lot of good people too I guess that’s wat keeps me on that platform anyways!! These cultivars are all mines no stolen pics, mixed cultivars from my last 2 runs Thx for reading my post lol and thanks for checking out my pictures Aloha

Hey, Welcome to the forum, I spent 2 years in Hawaii in the 70's and I've been back 6 times on vacations. I loved it there, some of the best smoke ever. I'm also long retired and have been growing weed indoors since the 90's. There's a few of us old folks here still kicking, growing and smoking. I used to live on the west coast up north of you but now on the edge of the Atlantic. No out door growing here our season is too short all indoors now. Again welcome to the group.

Hey, Welcome to the forum, I spent 2 years in Hawaii in the 70's and I've been back 6 times on vacations. I loved it there, some of the best smoke ever. I'm also long retired and have been growing weed indoors since the 90's. There's a few of us old folks here still kicking, growing and smoking. Thank you Braddah for the support and warm welcome! looks like we’re both livin the retirement dream lol . I’m happy to hear from other old school heads from the 70s and 80s looks like I found the right forum to chat with other Pakalolo brothers. Yah bra Visiting the Hawaiian islands back in the 80s were tough! Man! Especially for our lovely tourists visitors lol I hope you never got sold any oregano! On Maui lol ah man I still feel sorry for some people who got scammed lmao I never did that but the dudes that were into cocaine sold fake weed to tourists to support their sick habits. But if you found the right cool local Braddahs you can find some of the best Sativas on island! Indicas were rare in the 80s. Right now I’m currently growing hybrids I got a Red Runtz from Exotic Mike and a Blackberry Punch x Secret Formula from a breeder from the Big island. I had 11 plants running but landed 6 males and 3 fems that hermed on me. lol nxt run will be all feminized gear to make up for my mistake on trying to do a mostly reg run! Yes I got bit once with oregano, We were heading into our hotel and I smelled some weed in the air. I asked 2 guys if they had any, ya brah, a quick pass over money exchanged and up to my room...WTF...quickly down stairs again but the boys were gone. I had connections when I lived there but as a tourist I got burned, just once but ya.

We had Dragon Flames Genetics here for a while, he was out of Hawaii then moved to Oregon too I believe. Some nice strains he had. I still have a few of his packs. A lot of us on here do.
just finished one crop Zamelda Dreams ( from Dragon Flames Genetics & some Strawberry Purps. I think are indirectly from QCseeds. I've a Strawberry Purps clone going now along with some Bubba Mac n Cheese & a couple of Blue Dream just 2-3 weeks old from Captain Redbeards Genetics a popular breeder here.

We have a foot plus snow falling here today, I miss the islands specially in the winter.
