Over watering / under watering

Ok folks. I did a little experiment. I have some plants going. 4 Blue Dream 3 God’s Gift. These are the plants my cat gnarled up. Ok I was having some watering issues. All plants were looking ok. Not great. Here’s what happened. I was watering these plants at the same time. Then I noticed something was off. 2 of my plants were yellowing. Picked up the pot. It’s heavy. Really heavy like a real heavy thing. So I’m like what’s the deal here. I investigate. Oh No the bung hole is clogged. I was getting no run off and I didn’t notice for two waters. I about drowned them. So I removed the blockage and set them back in place. While all that was happening I completely forgot to water 1 of the other plants. For 2 extra days. And she was all limp. Dry , curled dehydrated . She was roasting. Leaves trying to roll themselves up. Like she was going to smoke herself. But anyways here’s the ones I drown.


Here’s the under-watered one. She still hasn’t came out of her stress yet. But I’ll keep an eye on her. Dehydrated and frying under the lights.


So this is what can happen if you don’t pay close attention to watering or runoff.

Or I atleast try.
This and last grow I got good droops in the room.
All mine bounced back within hours.

I had 7 seeds that popped and I grew all to about that size and 4 turned out to be male 2-3 days later another showed as male and I was pissed, I now had only 2 plants out of 7 were fems.....this one was the last and I put him outside at -10 c.......pic was after a few days of suffering in the cold

That is pushing it though IMO & IME.

it'll cost you leaves doing that, it does me and in flower they'll fade and start looking ugly quick if they get too dry too often

yea, just before they start to cusp.

it'll cost you leaves doing that, it does me and in flower they'll fade and start looking ugly quick if they get too dry too often

That would be the identifying word.......Controlled....... drought stress....not just forgetting to water and catching it a day later.... calling it a controlled stressing would be a stretch
