I'm getting this on both of my computers, is there any issues

Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead

Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to budbuilders.org. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

What can you do about it?

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

Don’t worry. The sites security certificate has expired. Just another thing they ding you for. Used to be one and done. Used to be able to sign your own. Now they rent them out like a cars plate sticker. Crooks.

I clicked past it but I wouldn't on an unknown site. Its a first for me here I was wondering if everyone got this or if it was just from my provider

I saw the same thing as of this morning or last night.
I think this morning. And just now. Had no clue what it meant.
Stoney will figure this out and we will get it straight hopefully quick like bunny.
Happy Friday the 13th all~!
I am not superstitious really but.

I'm really struggling to access on my PC, not sure if it's from my power outage the other night but my computer is really flaking out. I can access with my phone no problem.. I just wanted to make sure it was just me... I assume you can load pages normal right now?

Yea seems like everything is up no notices on admin page.
I am not even supposed to have security on this computer, and it popped up twice today.

When my power went out it flashed on and off like six times and I think something got curruptex in windows and ever since all kinds of strabge things happening, won't sleep, always bogged down, something is wrong and I can't even get to BB anymore.. I may format my hard drive tonight if a system restore doesn't fix it.. It's like running on seven cylinders. Haha. I think our sucurity certificate is either on mxroute or name. Com... Mxroute will not let me login and I think it's my pc... I'll try on my phone here in a bit

i got my PC limping along now.. still not perfect but i'm going to try and do the ssl first...

i think i may have gotten it... did stuff i never ever did before so confidence is eeehhhh at best... fake it till ya make it i always say!!!

says it could take up to 48 hours but that sounds weird, idk never did it before so wait n see i guess... says it's in the green now. was red till i changed it.. had to change it in name.com and then verify and apply through mxroute...

BudBuilders,

if anyone starts to get a valid SSL from our site please post here and let me know....

I think you got it.
just left and came back without warning.
Thanks man~!

i was gonna restart my browser to see... finally got it working so i was afraid to close!! hahaha still need to format my drive and reload windows, been over a year since i did that and i normally do it once a year...

i think maybe the SSL running out is a timing thing to also let ya know the bill is due??? when i logged on to name.com it popped up saying the bill was due in a couple weeks!!

i paid it, we're good for another year.. it was only like $22. that was the very last yearly payment. from here on it should just be the server space from Ken each month and no other bills will come in till next year. or the very end of the year i think.. either way we're all paid up and i need to get back to the email with Ken and get our upgrade done.

Had it here too, couldn't log in the last couple of days, had to log in on Advanced on PC, logged in unsafe, said security issue with site certificates. Says at the top of the screen (PC) site Not Secure. Smileys are not working.

I had same note this a.m.
I guess we are waiting still.

i might think this is now from driven2.. i did some searches and maybe points to there. the ssl i activated was maybe just for our BB email.
i couldn't find anything at all in xenforo.

do you see more than i do on driven2?

we have what they call a "premium managed VPS" correct? the ssl cert should be free from them.

let me know if you can see anything at all under the services menu?

I don't get the warning any longer, seems good now

I received the warning when I attempted to open the website.
I was lost for days in the wilderness, but then I found the button, that magic button that let me in.
It’s like knowing a secret handshake.

F’ing web services and their security junk.

Self signed certs seems like a great way to go, if we could only trust everyone!

Thank you all for looking into this, your efforts are truly appreciated.
If my amazing abilities to break things can be of assistance, let me know!

sorry everybody!!

i've tried what i can and need to ask for help from those we pay money to. i'm not really sure if the SSL renew is something that is my responsibility or not. i assume so...

please bare with me and i will make sure we get back on. i'll update here.

I just got back on now been a few days for me. Riding out a snow storm right now 50 to 80 centimetres been snowing and blowing the last 12 hours another 5to 6 hours of snow then turning to freezing rain me thinks it only a matter of time before power goes. Wish me luck with clean up all highways closed in northern Ontario.
