SSHZ does B2ACG's Roswell Code and Honey Fried Banana's........

Same as before, I'm smoking a bag from the Volcano and then doing the report. I'll try not to compare to the Roswell Code as each strain should be evaluated on its own. Honey Fried Bananas-

The initial high is immediate, 2 hits and the frontal lobe attack has begun. Hits the eyes too. Although this is listed as an 80/20 Indica, I felt it has more sativa in it than the Roswell (which was 70/30 Indica). The taste is very interesting and it reminds me of something very old school. So I went to Seedfinder.eu for its genealogy and it stood out like a sore thumb- Durbin, the South African sativa. I prefer the name Durban Poison, which was how it was always referred to me. There's loads of other things in here too, i.e. GMO, Banana OG, Chem D, Thin Mint GSC and even Nevil's Hindu Kush. But the mild Anise (licorice like flavor) is right there and lingers for a good long while.

30 day veg, every plant in the room was treated exactly the same- at flowering, I defoliated and lolipoppped everything. I did not top this room, that's very rare for me and my style of growing. Topping is important for my room and the Gavita's light spread. This one had a wide variety of phenos, short to tall and in between. Plants and leaves looked different too- bud shape, coloring, branching, etc. I'm not saying that's good or bad, it just is what it is. Roswell was extremely uniform, this one not so much. It was the tougher side to maintain in the grow.

I would say the room was 80% finished at day 62, and some plants could have used another week or so. So finishing time was closer to 60-70 days. B2ACG states it's 7-8 weeks pot, I say it's a bit longer for sure. No buggy. I used the UVB the last 3 weeks or so, between 1-2 hours a day. Plants withstood it nicely, except for the extreme tacoing here and there. I'm completely sold on the UV now. Maybe it just B2ACG's plants naturally have higher resin rates, or maybe it's the UVB, or maybe some of both.

So, vaping thru the Volcano tends to bring a brighter and more heady buzz out of anything smoked thru it. This pot has a lot of head in it. I'm relaxed, I'm calm, I feel great. But I'm running a heady buzz right now. I remember the first time I smoked it, the headiness eventually wore off leading to a mellow body high- calm and relaxed with a smile on my face.

Both the Roswell and this one are very tasty smokes........I couldn't be more pleased overall with both strains. They finished quickly, stayed reasonably short, great bag appeal, encrusted in resin and interesting tastes that like to linger around on the tongue for awhile. These will bring rave reviews from my friends, no question about that. Hey, no seeds found in the 3 strains I've grown from B2ACG!
