SSHZ does Captain RedBeard's "Biscotti Blonde" and Lit Farms "All Starz"..........

Finished cutting, everything is hanging to dry.........

I did cut a small, fairly dried bud and bonged it and it immediately relieved my concerns about the All Starz. It was quite strong and long lasting, with an interesting taste. Heady and relaxing..........

With that, I'd also purchase Venerate, another product Rasta Jeff uses. This I use as a soil flush, since mites often spend time in the soil. People often spray their plants, and don't do anything to the soil- and wonder why the mites keep coming back. I spray and flush at the same time.......It's my belief when you spray, a % of mites fall off into the soil. Spray first, then flush the pots well.

I've bought both items on Amazon in the past..........

thanks for all your advice man, some golden tips for sure!! i know for sure i had the two spot mites and i've had them before two or three times but must have gotten lucky getting rid of them. this time they lingered.

i didn't know of any of those chems you listed so it's great info to me. and yeah, the containers of soil that was the first thing i removed when i started and you make a good point with that.

.

nice job on the harvest, hope ya feel better soon!!! thanks again!

Everything I've mentioned so far is effective against 2 spotted mites.......they seem to be one of the ones that every product I've seen will work against. They also seem to be one of the ones most people get.

Feeling much better today after 10 days with this crap. I think I turned the corner. Thanks.

The All Starz smells just like the Permanent Marker I did last crop. I thought that was odd cause this strain is Red Velvet Gary X Zoap. Until, I noticed some places listed this strain, including SeedFinder.eu as Red Velvet Gary X Permanent Marker. I can guarantee you this is the correct parents. It smells and tastes just like the P.M. from my last grow, and some plants look exactly the same. I'm not unhappy about this, by the way..........

I’m currently growing the permanent marker, what can you tell me about it and how did you like it?

Sorry, I grew the Rainbow Marker, not the Permanent Marker.........but they are very similar. Below is the thread link if you want to give it a look. The main difference is the Sherbert's they used, RS11 (rainbow sherbet) vs. Sherbert BX. The Permanent Marker was Leafly's 2022 Strain of the Year. The other side is both Biscotti and Jealousy.

But, anything "Marker" is going to smell like a black magic marker we all have used to label boxes and such. I was very happy with mine and it sold right out so others were happy with it too.

The original P. Marker was bred by Seed Junky's, and I see a lot of breeders offering the same exact strain. It's listed as mostly indica, but there's definitely some headiness to it, which I don't mind. Check my thread, the pic's are amazing towards the end. There are a lot of pheno's, some got quite tall while others stayed very short. But no difference in the smell, taste or effects.

Biscotti Blonde.......I know I'm not talking about it enough but the Marker was done first, so I'm working with that more.

I just smoked the Biscotti, a small bong hit and I'm blitzed......my estimate is easily over 4 oz a plant, it's a monster yielder for sure. I'm actually higher than I've been in a long time right now. I think Granny hit the nail on the head. Captain Redbeard deserves a long look after seeing this one- great buzz, monster yield, nice bag appeal, stays short and uniform- all this with a poor grow by me because of the early pH pen issues.

Pretty heady buzz, floating buzz that hits the eyes too. But still, very relaxed and in a good mood while watching the Calif. fires on tv.

I can't wait to grow this again, and do a better job with it. I would defoliate the shit out of it, to cut down all the leaves. I probably would not top it, as it stayed really short and height won't be an issue. Because of all the yellowing at the top of the canopy, it's tough to gage how that impacted the flowering period, because that usually will delay flowering a bit.

I have so much I want to grow right now, I'm seriously considering opening up a second room. Trying to decide how to approach the wife.....lol Jewelry? Sympathy for my upcoming hernia surgery? Just temporary? A cruise? lol lol

I have a brand new Medic LED, basically new, that I won in a contest that I could hang- maybe do another strain with about 9-10 plants.

My daughter works for AWS (Amazon Web Service) in management, basically sets up teams to run all their shows and meetings, all over the world.......... someone gave her this belt buckle at her Vegas show not long ago, she didn't know what to do with it so she gave it to me. I can't even determine the metal but the companyimage.jpg (Gist Silversmiths) is well known on the west coast.

I'd still like to see what u can do w grand fire. Mine were grand...fire. yours would be super grand fire. A crowd favorite. Not lacking in yield. Slightly less than some maybe, but on par w my avg.

That’s what I wanted to know! Buzz and yield 🥰 That stuff smacks the crap out of me, and it tends to be a creeper. The longer it cures the sweeter and more skunky it becomes not to mention it just gets stronger. So much out there, but few make it to my grow it twice list, this is for sure one of them!
Enjoy!

One more thing while I’m thinking about it. You say the plant is short and I questioned that as my plant was a very big girl. I know as you say it’s because of your choice of lighting and we have discussed this. I just wanted to make sure people know this is not a short plant by nature.
I’m a scrogger, my lady was big and tall (I grow under Spider Farmer lights) and she yielded 11.25 ounces.
So, it seems she is performing well under any grow preference or light.
Her buzz, well..I’m a forty five year smoker of this stuff, and her buzz is like my first one all over again.
Allow me to recommend Capts The Shine. You would for sure appreciate it. If you want more info on it, just ask!
Thank you for the diary and the trust you put in my recommendation 🥰

If it sucked, I would have said that too......lol Pretty much everything I grow stays shorter than others who have grown it. The Gavita's pack in a lot of white light in these LED's, and my grow style totally changed to short, heavy defoliated plants. So much easier for me.

The yield is going to be a whopper- the colas were monsters. The All Starz I got 33 oz from 9 plants- about 3 3/4 oz per. I'm guessing i'm near 4.5-5 oz or more with the Biscotti's. I'll know by the weekend. I'll save all my other comments for my final review on each, next week sometime.

So, Deebles I'll do the Purple Caper "Grand Fire" and B2ACG's "Frozen Black Cherry" next crop.............

Granny- The Shine has been ordered. lol I hesitated at first, since The Capt. said it grows tall, but it'll stay reasonable under these led's...........

Voting for the second room~!;slap
