SSHZ does Purple Caper "Grand Fire" and Anesia Seeds "Frozen Black Cherry"......

Very sore and under the weather..........surgery was Thursday, and it was much more complicated than expected and lasted twice as long as it was supposed to. 3+ days of no shitting compounded the experience and an enema took care of that late last night. On Oxycodone, and sleeping a lot. Recovery will take a while, for sure. I'll start posting again when my mood is better, but the grow room is fine and being cared for. Figure my next post will be in a week or two, but surely by the time I flip for flowering.

RIU it would appear is dead in the water..........I think it's closed up for good.

glad to hear it's over and you're doing ok. best wishes on a comfortable recovery!

Rollitup website note.....

Rollitup.org Datacenter Migration in Progress

Hey Rollitup Community,On January 25th, our data center was hit by a natural disaster, causing major connectivity issues. This unexpected event not only took our site offline but also prevented us from accessing our backend to keep you all updated. We know this silence has been frustrating, and we're sorry we couldn't communicate sooner. The good news is that all of your data - your photos, grow journals, and everything else you've contributed to our community over the years - is safe and secure. We've managed to work through the initial crisis and are now in the process of moving everything to a new data center. We expect to have the site back up and running by Wednesday, February 12th. We're working as quickly as we can to restore access to the community you've helped build over all these years. The Rollitup community means the world to us, and we're incredibly grateful for your patience and understanding during this challenging time. You've stuck with us through thick and thin, and we can't thank you enough for that.

We expect to resume normal operations to resume Wednesday, February 12th.

My surgery.....a comment.

I was given 3 Fentanyl .25 mcg doses thru the 1 1/2 hours. When finished, they gave me Naloxone, .4 mg which is an opioid reversal. First time for Fentanyl, and I couldn't even enjoy it.

Last thing I remember was being wheeled into the surgery room, and nothing further until waking up in recovery with my wife next to me.

So, if I wanted these to grow a bit faster, I would have lowered the led's a bit more..........but 8 days out from surgery and I had another minor procedure today- I just want things to go slow and easy for now. These are the Frozen Black Cherries. The end of next week I'll pick things up some, but still looking at a 4.5-5 week veg (which is fine).

So, doing ok.......Just taking it slow and easy. Doing more lately, nights are rougher than days. But, feeling a little better each day and back to see the surgeon one last time on Friday to make sure no infections and healing properly. Diabetes tends to slow down the healing process, even though mine is well controlled and I'm at pre-diabetes levels.

Frozen Black Cherry first.

At this point, I just want to wait a bit before flowering so I can handle the growth spurt and heavier watering routine. Today is day 21, maybe by day 30-32, I switch them over and perform the lolipopping, topping and defoliation. I'm in no rush and want to feel physically better than I do now.........but for now, all is good.

Then 5 Grand Fires and 4 Florida Gas Packs. The Gas Packs were started about 5 days later and have the white chinese food utensils sticking up.

I use the takeout sticks too. I number them and just put what the number represents in my journal.

Wooden ones only last a few grows so it’s a good reason to get more chilly chicken and Singapore noodles. 🤤

Those looked topped?

Yup, 13 days from surgery........more bored than anything. Honestly I thought I'd be further along in the recovery. My balls remain black (coloring) and I still have the paper stitches attached to the wound. Crazy glue (well, medical crazy glue) was used to seal the wound and that's supposed to peal off too at some point. All the internal stitches just desolve over time. Another week or two and I'll be back to normal basically.

Yea I topped them once and have been removing large fans often to expose under growth.
Just flipped them 12/12 this week.

The other side, showing a bit more of a Cal/Mag deficiency. Grand Fires and Fla. Gas Packs. I'll do a cal/mag spraying tonight, 1 teaspoon to a gallon, pH to 6.3 and the spray the shit out of them. Fresh water spraying at lights on tomorrow morning to wash it off. I'll do that 2x-3x the next week.image.jpg

I'll lolipop, defoliate and top on Saturday, day 30 in veg. And start flowering on Sunday.......... the wife will be away, it's the perfect time to do it. It will be rough, lots of bending over and pulling plants in and out- I'll probably do half the room in the morning and the other half in the evening so I don't over do it. I didn't realize that the added mesh creates another dimension to the surgery and recovery. But slowly feeling bit better........

Some of the grand fires continue to have some cal/mag issues but those leaves will be removed during the defoliation.

The Black Cherries have been trouble free, look great, are pretty uniform and standing out so far........

Notice the front row Fla. Gas Packs caught right up to the other strains, even though they were started about a week later.........

I was just thinking u may have your hands full w the gas packs...

I will defoliate those heavier, since they are quicker growing and appear to want to get larger....

Yeah Take it easy dad.🙂. that’s a great sugestion .even the following day to get it all done.

Actually today was the first day I'm feeling a little better, until I did the grocery shopping.....2 steps forward, 1 step backwards. Just takes time to heal, especially with the diabetes. Feeling great otherwise, mentally up and enjoying the All Starz daily- it's really good smoke. So, Biscotti in the daytime and the All Starz at night.

Ill do before and after pics when I start up in the morning.....

I'll put up some after pic's when the plants recover a bit..........I took every sun leaf off the main stem except the top ones. So, I topped, lolipopped the lower crap and defoliated. They are all looking ragged right now, which is to be expected. In a day, they'll look a whole lot better. It took me a little over an hour to do it all, not too bad I guess. Then I watered everything well and I'm done for the day. Time to smoke a bowl and eat some lunch. Feeling ok, actually better than I thought I would.

Go to post #64 a couple spots up, look at the picture...........

Did you top them all?
Glad to hear you are feeling better.

Yes, topped them all, Just reached in and pinch off what I could. I moved quick with everything I did, in case I started hurting. Then I cleaned up all the bottom crap and removed the 6-8 largest sun leaves. Then watered everything and cleaned up.

PPM is being maintained at 400-450, I'm not going higher this crop.

I will spray Monterey Insect spray tonight an hour after lights out, the plants seem to love this stuff.

As usual, in a week you won't recognize the room. lol

Can see what they going to b now..the leaves sure hide the branches well.

they will b loving that.

I maybe need to green them up a bit more, for a couple of weeks, but considering how little time I've spent with them, I'm happy at this point.......I have a feeling these will be out of control soon enough.
