I bought one for the home but now I'm going back to get another for the grow

It's the WooZoo 360 pedestal fan. 10 speeds. Left/Right or 360 oscillation. Remote control. Stealth quiet and was kicking the Dyson bladeless in the ass during the floor demo. I could feel it's air from 20' away.
There's also a desk top model I got for my wife's WFH office desk

Interesting. We need one for the bedroom as the last Costco one died. $90 up here.

Now if they had a clip on version. 🤔

Yep same here. $89 in warehouse for the wholesale price. I think it's $125 retail price at other places or at least one similar.
This model looks like it's a one off just for Costco because it has features not on the other fans. Or other models will have one or the other feature but not all features in one fan like this one.
Sometimes Costco offers an enhanced product from retail options at other places for a little less than that retail option. Usually electronics and appliances and this looks like one of those products. Walmart and Lowes does similar things with exclusive their store only products.

This morning I got up to see it going slow after leaving it on all night. Turns out I had it set for natural wind so when temps cool down, it slows on it's own and when temps rise it goes full speed. It has something of an AI processor for that.
It also has an adjustable swing.
In the video I have it maxed out but I can tighten it up so it spins in smaller circles then also speed up or slow down the oscillation.
I doubt they'll do a clip on because all of the electronics are in the base but there's the small desktop version. A 3D printed adapter could be made to put that fan on a wall or pole. Same for this one really if I remove the center pole on the pedestal.
Lastly, 5 year warranty so if it dies anytime between yesterday and 2030, Costco will refund or replace it.

Our store was out of stock. Hour or more drive to the nearest with stock.

This morning it says our store has stock again so maybe we’ll get lucky tonight?

I saw it advertised at other stores between $120-$160.

All but one of our Costco upright and tower fans died. Average life span with quarterly cleanings is about 5 years. A couple closer to 10 years. Not bad considering it’s sealed bearings and we have pets.

keep buying stuff there please... i just scored some free costco stocks a couple weeks ago!!!! hahahaha

i actually learned i do have a costco about a half hour away from me. never been there..

I bought the smaller version without the stand about a year ago, loved it in my tent until it stopped working 2 weeks later. Costco so they took it back but it scared me off getting another

I hope I have better luck. I pick mine up around 10am. 🤞

I know things haven’t been built to last for a long time but I try to buy trusted or tested items. Part of that is going by reviews posted by members here.

Picked up the Woozoo pole fan yesterday morning, $117 out the door. Had it on all day and all night.

The rotation is cool. As soon as I saw it I thought it would be great for the bottom of the grow tents, and with a 5 year warranty no less. Just too big for my 3x3’s.

It has 12 speeds, 360* that starts one way then reverses continuously. It can just oscillate right to left 90* or if you work the 360* then stop you could pretty much oscillate and pick any angle as long as it’s not downward. The natural wind mode is nice and we used it while sleeping. One feature I loved was the ability to turn off the idiot lights, chimes too.

It’s quiet, up to around level 7, but if you have it on high it’s going to be noticeable. It’s about the same as our tower fan. IMO

The remote is okay. Just the cheap button battery type. Saves my back so that’s fine but I highly doubt it will last five years of use.

I can’t say it’s better than a tower fan for our bedroom but it is cooler. 😎🤣

I will note that I expected the fan to be larger. It’s got an 11” shroud but the blades only 8” diameter. So far we like it but more testing will be needed.

We have a Costco for the food industry close to us. We stop there for bulk food or industrial kitchen appliances.

When we happened to stop there today they had the large and small Woozoo fans there. On sale for $41.99. So I grabbed two, one for each tent. $20+ cheaper than the current good quality tent/clip fans.

Testing so far is good. It does a little less than the 90* left/right and same for up/down. But if put in a corner it would hit everywhere but downwards. I’m looking forward to trying it the next grow. I’m thinking natural wind mode. 🤔

It’s quiet up to level 3 out of five. I don’t think I’d need above 3 ever in the tent, 2 seems plenty. But I’m in a 3x3.

It also opens up with one screw and seems easy to clean. It has a remote control which is similar to the bigger model but not the same. The fan had a spot to put it in the back when not needed, like a tower fans remote.

Will do!
They get a good size chunk of my paycheck every month and I don't see that ending any time soon.
Kinda pissed off because I needed a new stock of aluminum pans for BBQ. I use these pans for a lot of stuff.
Well at Costco I get them in bulk. 30 for only $13.
At the grocery store those same pans, 5 for $8.
I hate it when they're out of something essential like that because that's the type of savings over time that puts money back in my pocket and the membership pays for itself especially with the $65 minimum rebate on membership each year.
Now they have 9am entry for executive members! That means I can go in an hour early with no crowds, no lines, and ez parking!

Prolly just the one off defect. Rave reviews for it online and reddit, some talking about it being a year in and still going great.

It's replaced the older huge floor fan Costco was selling in previous years for us.
Less power draw, quieter, more function, and works way better than the other one. Throws air a surprising distance for being small.

Every now and then an article will come about about Coscto product testing before they sell it. It's seriously next level and on the level of Consumer Reports products testing.
That's what pretty much gives me peace of mine on everything I've bought there. You just know as long as it's not defective anamoly, what you buy will be as advertised.
I can't think of a single regret purchase. From tires to a mattress and all sorts of electronics. All of it solid buys.
If I saw this fan at walmart, I wouldn't give it a second look. But at Costco, that testing I've read about gets the fan in my cart and brought home.

It was a good thing we didn’t hesitate buying these. After I tested the large one I grabbed two small ones for my tents. Testing one my son liked the results and got a small one for himself the next day. The following day I was asked to send the link to a friend and I noticed the price had jumped. 😳

Happened to be at the same Costco again this weekend. No small ones and the few tall ones left were further into the store, no longer beside the entrance.

My Target says they have them also for same sale price^

Target has some at $35...is this the same??View attachment 108090

I'd call that the standard package and the one Zen got is the fully loaded package.
The Target fan is 3 speeds vs 5, 52 feet distance vs 82 and looks like it's missing natural wind. Area coverage is around 300sqft vs 353sqft
It's also missing a few of the extra but not really needed features like better touch pad, lighted button and beep function, maybe a couple others. The dome grill is flat on that one while more like a ball in the other one. Dimensions on the Target fans are slightly larger as well.

Features seem to vary store to store. Fans on walmart, amazon etc have certain features while missing others and the fans at costco seem to have all the features packed in. Main thing I'd look for would be that 360 oscillation.

I picked up the Target version yesterday but will take it back today. Ordered it online for store pick up so I didn't get to see it first.
The Costco version has features and power the Target version does not have which I coulda lived with but the Target version is super bulky and too big for where I want to stick it.
To save a trip back to Costco I ordered that version to be shipped to my home since it's the same price delivered or in the warehouse.
I also saw the pedestal version is now $79 down from $89

Here's the size comparison between the two desk top versions

I picked up a air circulation fan it's a bit odd, it doesn't seem to blast air through but it moves anything that isn't fixed down?

I paid £12 it's one of the better fans I've had.

I've a tip for the longevity of regular oscillating fans you can get years from them, aye right I hear you say 😂

Day #1 I cut off the grill, it restricts air flow and the plastic gears have to carry its weight forever, offloading it makes the fan run faster because you've eased the load in the gears and by removing the grill you've also increased the volume of air it can move, the combined difference in performance and longevity is substantial I'm talking years it's well worth doing

They are similar but different features. $42 CND is around $35 US @ 25%.

Plus returning things to Costco is pretty straightforward if necessary.

My wife stole one of my small ones for the kitchen island. She said I don’t need it until I start the fall grow. 🤣

I don’t think the small one does 360*. It does 90* left/right and I think 90* up/down.

Still great for my tents though.

I hooked up one of these table lamp dimmer switches to my clip fan. Clip fan only had high-off-very high speeds. The dimmer slowed down the oscillation and breeze nicely. But I’m using 3x3 tents.

I’ve considered removing the shrouds but I’m a tall guy. I bump the shrouds once in a while as it is.🤣

It would make cleaning a lot easier though.
