The Psyche Gardens

I use a container with water and a terracotta plant pot set in it with a fan to help with humidity.
I also wet my floor down.
Maybe a wet towel on the floor of your tent will help.
Doesn't have to be fancy or expensive to work.👊
I’ve done that too. Coffee can with water and a clip fan too.

I found sticking a head of lettuce in a red cup or 1 gallon soft pot and growing it gave enough humidity that I have since done it three times. Any leafy plant would probably work if you have the room.

Here’s a pic of the scope I use.

A few pics from tonight, freehand.

I included the bad/fuzzy ones so you can see what to expect. I change the resolution/magnification once in a while. Mostly I leave it until I accidentally move it. 🤣

Hope it helps you decide.

That's the env with it open

Issue after issue, adjustment after adjustment, they are starting to grow now.

increased ppm from 100-250 to 300-600 range, @ around 16k lux/300PPFD from 10k lux

More green color coming in, want to keep the node spacing tighter on these.

How long before you remove the straw? You just cut it out I assume?

Oh, once they stand up straight enough on there own, or i just leave it till a stimum fully grows into into it.

I've had terrible growth rate due to overwatering and some other issues, and then low humidity really hinders em

Working good for you?

Trying to get one

I get ticked when it’s hard to get the trichomes in the right spot. I’ll push into the buds. So I have to use a ISO wipe once in a while to clean the clear plastic shroud.

Even five years ago I’d be better with it. But eyes and body and patience are all a little worn now. 🤣

I doubt you’d have any issues. However if your like me you might be tempted to modify and see if you could improve it. 🤔 My wife has noticed that since I started needing/wearing glasses I don’t dismantle new toys like I used too. 😒

The battery life is great so far. Never had to recharge, but I plug it in once or twice a season anyway. These are the two free apps I use. Mostly the one on the left. IMG_2048.jpeg

Thanks man appreciate it

Do you have to have wifi for it?

I don't expect much from a 20-40 USB microscope but there's plenty of options, want to find the best one.

Ya, but it’s on off self connection. Only on for short random periods so not a big deal.

For $50cnd I can’t complain. 🤷‍♂️

Took me way to long to get these "dialed" in to where they'll actually grow properly.

Was not paying enough attention to them, being gone, etc. But now I'm finally getting them just right.

The Art of Manual Balancing Parameters...

Starting to look better and actually grow now.

I hindered them through either, a combo of things, too much PPFD, energy (temperature), too low of RH/fucked off VPD 15%~ humidity, and overwatering, 🤦‍♂️, but now there back on track about.

I’ve used a waterfall in a larger room when it got to dry. 🤣

Don’t think I’ve ever owned a humidifier. 🤔
That disc works great for making you're own humidifier lol, just might need it on ia timer or ENV controller.

If I walk out with the tent sealed up and no exhaust fan leaving the disc on, 5 minutes later it's at 100% rh lol

Trying to keep it around 80F air/ambient, 77-78F LST (leaf surface temp) , and 65-75 RH

All "manual" "balancing" , no ENV controller (environmental)

I’ve used a bunch of things over the last few years. Usually a coffee can of water in front of the intake fan is enough. Other times I’ve added a leafy plant like a lettuce and that was enough.

My biggest issue is not having a sealed room. The tents are basically in a room shaped hallway. We adapt as we can.

I put hot water in a tote and that brought the humidity up to 99 lol
