On the fence and in no hurry but looks like the best option to me.
I like the no coils. That is how torchless has missed the mark IMO.

Glass on glass is the way home squish rosin should be enjoyed but that's a whole lot easier said than done.
Barbed coils were a messy solution.
Ceramic, quartz, and whatever else works but there's something missing.
The Daab is the first rig or device where I feel like somebody got inside my head and asked what I need for home made rosin and delivered. It's simple and genius all at the same time and priced fair as well.
My only concern is after sale service and support as I don't believe there is any. It may be a one off product and what's out there is it. No more models or new versions in the future at least for right now. But out of the box, so far so good and seems built well enough to last some time and like Stoney mentioned with the batteries, a very long life changing those out.
I don't believe it's a daily driver but maybe. I consider it a companion piece. I'm just a big believer in having a team of devices or whatever so I like to take the load off them by rotating. I'm hitting it for about 4 loads a day. 2 in the morning and two late when I get home.

If there's any negative it's probably gonna be that it's really hard to get an air tight seal between the carb cap and banger.
This isn't a big deal for me but could knock it down a notch for others. You don't lose smoke but it will thin out your hit a little with more air allowed in.
Without the silicone is max air. With silicone it's reduced by about half. Light pressure on the carb cap and it's reduced down to almost sealed but not quite and that will give you the most concentrated hit you can get out of it. But even without silicone and max air in, still hits like a mule.

the handful of times or so that i have dropped or knocked over my peak was because if the cord. mostly i go wireless charge but there are times when i stick my magnetic cord on there for a quick charge. bump the cord knock the pro over... mostly when i spin my chair around and forget the cord is hanging out the back and the back of the chair pulls it to the ground. at least water doesn't spill out but theres the risk of it breaking every time it happens!!

as for the glass part i've learned over the years to clean the glass over top of the soft carpet in the bathroom and not the hard stone sink!!!!

but you're not a loner in that at all, my peak doesn't move much from it's spot. even if i'm in that room i go to the peak versus taking it with me. a few times a year i will take it out the garage or my buddies garage if we're hanging out all day. other than that it's parked on the desk either on or off the wireless pad.

Steam, i am very excited to see how the ispire works out!! it will be nice to have a temp number to see as i take rips. and the removable battery has me completely all in. if you want to spend the money on a good quality fast discharge 18650 made for vapes and get long lasting charge you can.. OR if you wanna save a little money and just use flashlight batteries and just charge more. don't plan on using for a while, take out the batteries!!!! the unit will work for years and years if the electronics are solid and i haven't heard a single negative on the software.

i got a tracking number and mine has just been given to usps in LA.. says wednesday delivery. sometimes they beat that sometimes they fail.. haha

See..Briscoe and I got this bald thing figured out...You never go clean except where nature intends. #1 clipper, cordless of course , once every 8 days. I'm a truck guy but I'm the type of truck guy who only likes my truck and hates everybody elses truck.
With that, I'm into Toyota Tacomas. It's the official truck of getting shit done IMO and it's not a monster but it is a pocket Hercules.
I'm in a city and everything is tight from parking to narrow lanes and lots of traffic.
I don't go offroad and it's pure city hauling for my home to a bed full of baseball equipment for work but when the shit hits the fan with weather I'm also not crippled. Can go thru water, handles snow & ice, and all that shit so it's about fit. Full size trucks sucks balls in a city and others like Maverick and Santa Cruz were wussy trucks compared to Tacoma. Those trucks may as well be one of those cyber egg looking SUV things running around because they'd be useless for me.

Car culture in my city is unique and it fucking sucks. Jeeps or Heeps are a huge part of it. Bright shiny fuckers lifted with every accessory and a billion rubber ducks across the dash. They never see dirt! Point blank, Jeep Gladiator guy is Cybertruck guy but pays for gas in this town. One dude in my neighborhood has both a gladiator and cyber truck and he's painted them to look like military trucks and calls himself "The General". He's like 28 and is a tech bro.
So yeah man I'm no help there. When I have to put my Taco down I'll buy another it fits me so right.

I've seen them lowered with low profile tires but worst is the militarized cosplay usually wrapped and will have the angry face grill with red rings around the headlights to make them look mean. It's just as bad as the Ram truck guys who change out the logo to WAR. Those two rides along with cybertrucks are big fashion for young wealthy men here.

I also like that 4 door Rubicon for that type of living but also have a good sturdy trailer for hauling. I needed a trailer for my Jeep and together they were like Batman and Superman getting shit moved around for me.

New Rangers were priced out for me and really even the best Tacos were too but I got a base 6cyl 4x4 2018 access cab with only 20K and made it my own. It's not TRD but that's okay for me.
Got body armor to combat city dingers...killed a Kia that rear ended me only getting a smudge on the stinger. Installed a super wicked aftermarket sound system.
City life man so got a Millercat put in so no meth heads can steal my cat...Dropped $800 in it last month for new brakes all around, alignment, oil, and all filters which sucked but that's what's gonna take it to 100K. New tires last year so it's just a good reliable buddy of truck for me right now.
Should have it paid off and title in hand by this time next year. It should fill a good space of time between paying it off and thinking about a new one. When ya get a good fit and it lasts, no need to replace it. I never found that in a car until the Taco

I guess we tapped that 48 well one too many times. Sheesh. I came from the rear last season in the pool so yeah, got 'em right where I want them hahahah!

I really need to get back into my sosuvide and making things like that. I miss the fun little desserts more than steaks!



Two experiments going on to update.
UV up first and what I'm seeing.


Without a doubt this UV bar is adding both trichs and stress to my plants under it. However, the extra resin is not on the buds. It's on areas of the plant resin does not typically grow, such as the underside of leaves, stems, and stalks.
IDK what's going on with that but I also believe this effect is why plants bathed in UV have pest resistance. Whatever is going on with the undersides it seems bugs want nothing to do with it and that just so happens to be where most of them fuckers like to live.




Home bred hybrid F1 growing very weird.
Started out a spittin image of mama Afghani and I thought okay, pure indica. Then in flower, all the Vietnamese sativa came out and the result now is very tall and bushy plants with Vietnamese long leaf traits and very small flowers dusted in resin






The dead water experiments are going well.
Ever wonder what would happen with water that's aerated very poorly or not at all?
Or if beheaded flowers can live on without roots?

I got my second topper the other day and they come with a black silicone band so if you get that too you'll have a black bee stripe on that rig.
I'm working on 3D printed dab jar lids in a honey theme too. This is what it looks like assembled but will print in separate parts and glued together.





I was quiet about but felt like Briscoe had the best shot. He's close though and I think he does bag a 500 before his career is over

Between this UV, the other rails lights, and Grease and Soluble it's pretty clear to me what I'm into and able to do. And I cannot be the only one onto this.
The thing is, I'm having an ethical debate within myself whether or not it should be done.
It's also teaching me to never buy seeds on frosty looks alone because I'm sure I'm not the only one who's found this cocktail.
If I was selling seeds I could run such a scam it's not even funny.

Between this UV, the other rails lights, and Grease and Soluble it's pretty clear to me what I'm into and able to do. And I cannot be the only one onto this.
The thing is, I'm having an ethical debate within myself whether or not it should be done.
It's also teaching me to never buy seeds on frosty looks alone because I'm sure I'm not the only one who's found this cocktail.
If I was selling seeds I could run such a scam it's not even funny.

yeah i wasn't upset at all on the winner... out of everybody that was there at the end i'm glad it was him. awesome that his son was there too!!!!

some of the radio chatter in that race had me in tears it was so funny. some teams were as mad as bristol and others just made jokes and had a lot fun with it.

We had a pickle dip recently too and HEB has come out with a limited edition pickle flavored thin chip for Spring

I'm just in a bit of a pickle, pardon the pun, on the ethics of what I'm doing. This isn't natural at all so if I take these plants outdoors I'm gonna get a totally different result.
Lighting today is just different than it was a few years ago. The DLI that's possible and a true balanced spectrum that will bring density unmatched by outdoors and can load them up with so much frost they almost drip it is wild.
That's not genetics. It's the equipment doing that shit so when somebody grows that same strain with lesser equipment or outdoors, those traits don't show, strain is junk so on and so on. Not just UV but the full range of blue very similar to a CMH spectrum. Don't even really need to go to full UV but Uv is just a part of the blue range so we default the verbiage to UV.
It's 100% plant manipulation to get desired results but I'm not so sure those results are truly desirable. There's cruelty involved, stressing plants to frost up. Stress and frost are symbiotic.
They look great but can fall short on the rosin press. The press reveals all and there's no hiding from that. It's an Emperor Wears No Clothes moment for a strain.
It's just wild how it was never really like this. You couldn't take trash genetics and make them good just by choice of equipment but now we can. That "good" though, is misleading and I think we all have a different definition of it.
Outdoors may be the true test on this.
If a cut goes white outdoors, it's sure to pile on resin indoors. That's good genetics
If it's light on frost outdoors but I can manipulate it indoors to pile on is nice but those are still not good genetics and will come up short on the rosin press.

Then you add in the hydro cocktails. The Grease weeks always make me nervous feeding what looks like milk and smells like rotten eggs but it's the way. Grease will break brains man. May have to unlearn things to learn how to use it.
I've quit filtering my water too. No longer needed as it gets dialed in more and more.
Looking to drop calmag or reduce it by a ton with confidence in crab meal being sky high and will probably eliminate grow nutes of the 3 part starting next grow.
Also trying something similar to soil growing and not doing top offs but letting my bed suck the rez dry. I don't have issues with a swinging pH or increase ppm when losing water. It stays the same whether it's 30 at full or 12 when I drain and replenish.

Nope the extra bowl didn't come with any extra bands or silicone, just the cup. Maybe a carb cap would come with them? I haven't looked to see if they just sell the silicone bits.
I put the black band on mine and want the other parts in black too or really, any color other than flesh lol.
Been looking at DIY silicone so maybe something down the line there. May try to print something in tpu that I cant paint checker flag too.

I go back and forth between it and my peak. Like the Daab would be doing shots while the peak is like sipping wine but you drink the whole bottle.
It's the weekend though so the gravity bong and triple perc are out too.
My Peak will get a dry top as soon as Tuesday. Told myself I'd never get a dry top for it, that's stupid, until I saw this dry top on GP. Now I need a mushroom carb cap too.

Also been thinking of using the daab for pressed hash pucks and not always full melt wax. That glass on glass really opens the door for some next level sessions.






In other news...
I pulled a recent cure for check and I'm back in my happy place. Grove bags were nice and all but I like my wrapped weed cakes and I missed them
