You both got me nervous enough to check a paper calendar [ don't tell the youth about them].
Luckily only a Canadian [eh?] holiday.
We do Memorial Day next Monday~!

May 24th is the Victoria Day weekend. Also known as the two four long weekend to beer drinkers.

But it’s one of those holidays that moves to the closest Monday.

At times we match up to the US better.

As a kid it was the biggest of the year, I'm a bit surprised I forgot about them. The first hot long weekend as a kid 17-18-19-20 ish we were headed to the interior where it was always hot a sunny. Penticton, on the lake, one of us or 2 had a boat, skiing, camping drinking, police....always fun times

Yep. I bought a zodiac and my uncle bought me a 9.9 Evinrude in my early 20’s. Deal was I had to take him fishing a few times a year.

Rest of the time was either two or three of us on fishing trips or a bunch of us just partying deep in the woods.

But the two four weekend was always the big one that launched the season. Great times.

I can neither confirm nor deny that police may or may not have shown up on some of these gatherings.

I can't party like them days any more. Good times for me is getting new equipment. I think I'm in the market for another humidifier there's always something to upgrade and my exhaust fan in my 3x3 is shit...sigh....lol...fkin money goes out but it doesn't come back in very often.
