maybe someone can answer my question
since my plants are only 2 weeks old and my light is only at 50 percent do i need to run my exhaust fan 24/7 ? i can program it to turn on and off at a certain temp

I run mine 24/7.
well i been doing that but i have 2 tents in the same room , and example 1 tent will be 75 degrees and the other tent will be 80
so i was wondering if just for now since there small if i could just have the one fan come on when it is say 81 and go off when it goes down

As you wish to do so it shall be, who dares doubt the Wizard of Madistone County?

Imo exhaust fans need to run 24/7
if i leave it on with lights on temps would be 74 ,while the temps in the tent next too it would be 80 and this is a room with a window a/c in it
i think it is because of the lights 1 tent the light is 50 percent the other tent the light is 100 percent if both lights were the same temps would be closer to same

Leaf temp is what matters… dont get to hyper focused on one thing. You also need to consider co2 and humidity

well i am not adding any co2 to the tent i would end up killing my self with it and i do not need to do that im already dying
my humidity is ok but could be better

Co2 wont kill ya unless in extremely high concentrations . But i don’t mean to add it, i mean if no air exchange you will not be bring more into the grow space and it can become depleted as the plants use it.

From personal experience in monitoring and controlling co2 they can consume it very quickly.

I would be far more concerned of the co2 and humidity than with room temperature… especially at the temperatures your getting. Those are not an issue

ok i will turn it back on 24/7 , right now it comes on for about 5 mins goes off for 5 mins

I program my fans to always run. My low fan set point is at level 2 on an ACI T6 w Controller 67.
i turned mine back on last night setting 1 right now and i woke up last night my tent was at 72 degrees with the lights on so i turned it back of and it will turn back on when my temp reaches 80

I got a cheap thermostat controller off Amazon that works great...if the fans off is helping you build heat but manually turning them on and off and always watching is a big hassle try one of the thermostat controllers. They can shut off when above or below certain Temps. So it could kick on at say 80f then shut off when the temp gets down to 77-76 something like that.

I'm trying to make mine as controllable from afar as possible and that helped me alot. Hooked a little oil heater to it through winter to keep my stuff rollin in a cold basement

He has an ACI T6 with a controller so he already has that capability.

@budsofmadison - That's odd. 72* with lights on. How cold is your bedroom?

i know the fan should run 24/7 but i turned it back on last night setting 1 i woke up last night temps were at 72 degrees with the lights on so i turned the fan back off and when i woke up it says

This is the reason i got my ac infinity t6 fans.
I set my high temp to 77, humidity to wherever it needs to be for that stage of life, turn the low settings off, and walk away.

i turn the low settings off because if temp/rh are low in the tents, the temp/rh would be low in the room my tents are in, and having the fan turn on would only make it go even lower.
