Searching for four thieves last seen on my south porch last night.
All are dressed in black, gray and white wearing rings on their backsides. (Which they probably stole from someone else) Pointed ears, fuzzy and wearing masks at the time of the robbery.
The four audacious criminals stole the following:
Light pink Sally Hanson step one of a French manicure nail polish set. Opened and poured out on my porch, applicator still missing.
Step two Sally Hansons nail tip whitener pen.
A cup of cold blond coffee.
A pack of cigarettes.
A Blackberry Kush vape pen.
Two paper towels.
These four suspects will more than likely present with fresh French tipped manicures, an odor of cheap coffee and nicotine as well as red glossy eyes.
Know these thieves? Contact me or the Shannon Co sheriffs office.

I just got back from Maine where I stayed at my sister's cottage on the beach.
My brother in law told me the neighbors saw 4 racoons on the roof just a few days ago.
The next day about 10 in the morning my brothers dog started to bark at the fireplace which has a glass door in the opening.
They all thought she was barking at her reflection.
Not me~!
Being a roofer it was second nature to hop up on the roof sneak a peak in the flues of the chimney.
The racoons are living in the bottom of one of the flues~! He has 3 flues so they are not per say in the fireplace but in one of the venting flues.
I think he has a have heart trap and several trips to the mountains in his future~!

Wasn’t me, snow guns still in the garage beside the motorcycle.

It’s probably my fault though…always happens when I try to pop seeds for the winter grow. I even put the heat mat on last night just in case. 4* over night, still 7* now at 9am. 😞

Looks like similar weather for the next week.

it didn't get that cold here last night but tonight it's supposed to. freeze warnings tonight. it's coming...
 
So currently my house project is on pause for the next who knows how long.
NY went full blown retard and now i have to have a frost proof, engineered, yada yada bullshit, concrete slab. The fucken thing is gonna run me 35k!!!!!!!!
So back to square 1, i might just be buying a house already built. Yeah I know the bank has money.
But if I put the costs to develop the land in my mortgage, it goes up to 225k and I cant afford that.
I fucking hate the world we live in, I cant afford shit, cant find a job that will work with the hours im available, im stretched in 9 different directions and have no one to help me. I just need a babysitter, that I can fucking trust, and doesnt charge 300-500 a day

I recall you had access to your dad's tractor to dig up a water line or something a while back. Any chance that you can do some of the prep work to shave some cost off of the slab.

Years ago, I ran into a similar issue, but with a fancy septic system. We wanted to build on a 7 acre tract on top of a mountain. Beautiful location. When it was time to perk testing to approve installing the septic system, we had a brand new, fresh out of college, county inspector. I had a backhoe operator up there digging test holes all over the place, but she wouldn't approve any of them. She said it was sedimentary soil.

So, we set up another date for further testing and she brought in a team from Virginia Tech. It looked like an archaeological dig. Soils samples in test jars every few inches. Weeks later, they reported that the mountain top was river bottom eons ago.

We could have bought some land on the side of the mountain, but I really wanted the flat piece up top. So, we bailed on the whole thing. 30 years later, I still wonder about what we could have done differently.

After that, we went through major inflation on housing. It doesn't get any cheaper, but the initially high mortgage payments do feel smaller over time. I hope you find a way to keep your dream alive!

Thats with me doing all the prep... 18k in material and 12k in labor, I save 5k to do the ground work. Everything just sucks, I wanna go back to work but Im trapped.

I have to be here from 6-650am so I can get my kids ready and on the bus, and i have ti be here at 230 to get them off the bus. They cant stay alone cause they hate one another and do nothing but fight and shit.
My wife goes in anywhere from 430-830am so I have to be here to bring her in since she doesn't drive, shes out anywhere between 2pm and 530pm. She also has to close 2x a week so that means she goes in at 11 or 12 and out at 830 or 930 pm
So I can work from 10am-2pm or 11pm-5am and there are 0 shifts with those hours other than Uber and door dash. Which is pointless at 15.50/hr.
The cost of insurance goes up, wear and tear on my car, chance of accident goes up, everything goes up but my bank acct.
Im stressed the fuck out all the time, my wife is stressed out all the time because shes solely responsible for all our financials right now and its becoming a lot. Its causing us to fight almost daily and im just tired. I havent been able to contribute shit to this family for 6 years and im just tired of being a piece of shit who cant get a job to do anything for his family.

I feel you, for sure. It's pure misery to be so close to a goal and then have something like this take the wind out of your sails. Plus, family relations can be stressful enough during times when finances aren't a concern. Throw money in the mix and everything is magnified. We're living in a weird time. The economy is tanking, unless you live in an area that's experiencing some macro-economic boom.

You've got too much smarts about you not to find a way to get what you're after. Just a matter of time and being ready to jump on the right opportunity when it comes along.

The only way I see this working out is to back track.
I have to sell this place and move back home with my parents......
I need to save all that i can and trying to live here and build is not working.

Listen, what you do for those kids is priceless. Before you know it, you will blink your eyes and they will be gone. Most children do not have the privilege of even having a parent at home and are victims to the system and whatever retardant ass educator has control of what they learn.
When we are young, we want all of this stuff, these things. We think it somehow defines who we are, our successes..
When we are old..we try to get rid of all that shit. In actuality it’s a fecking burden. If my husband goes first, I will ditch these “ trappings” because that is exactly what they are, build a tiny home, a tiny grow and be happy til the very end.
Today, in these fecked up times if we have a roof above our heads, clothes on our back and food, we are blessed.
Never forget that.
