CannaGranny’s Corner a Thread For General BS and Good Will On BudBuilders

I made quite the embarrassing self realization while trimming ms. Skunk this morning.

I make chewing motions with my mouth while I’m trying to trim fans!
After I started paying attention to it, I realized I trim better if I don’t try to pay attention to what my mouth is doing while I’m trimming weed!

One of many reasons that this hobby is so fun!

Most people have a quirk or thing they do when concentrating. Biting the tongue or lower lip seems common. A facial expression at the minimum.

I know I hold my temples/forehead when tired and thinking. Similar to a face palm. Not sure about trimming but I have two plants waiting I can test on. 🤣

My buddies gave me shit one time because we were all about to lift something heavy in tandem and I had to hulk up a bit, my one buddy was like "haha you threw your face out". We laughed for a good 5 mins before we could even begin to attempt it again, and every time after we kept laughing must've taken 3 or 4 tries lol

Older guys swear by mason, or jar supply, I now am trying Terp-lock by Grove , it's good so far, easier to pack, lazy me. SS
Hey, I'm an old guy and fk the mason jars, Grove bags all the way. I can't get cool enough temps to dry properly at 62f so my stuff always dries too fast. I stick my over dried bud in Grove bags with 62% humidity packs and 2 weeks later my bud has re-hydrated and is nice to smoke with its smell back.

Nice! Are there certain humidity packs that you recommend. I have some drying now that went through a few days of unplanned high temperatures that I had no way of controlling. Things are back in a good range, but it could be a good idea for me to have some of these humidity packs on hand in case it comes out overly dry.

In my experience the more the merrier. I have at least 2 large bags in each 1/4lb grove bag and they are re-usable.

Boveda or Boost Integra both seem to work fine but they are all I've tried

What’s the cost per bag and how long do they last?

Do you stack them or do they sit like a jar? (So me plastic hard bags sit like a jar and have zip lock tops.)

I found most places want about $28+tax for 12 wide mouth Bernardin jars. I did find them on sale for $25 at CT.

The bags I can get starting at $2.25 for an ounce bag and up to $12 for the 1lbs. Same or more than jars.IMG_0790.jpeg

They broil it on Navy ships.

Oven baked bacon is the best~!🥓

many moons ago when i worked in a kitchen they baked bacon on a bed of sliced bread, helped absorb the grease and also never stuck to the baking sheet. i would always stash a couple slices of that old bread for a lunch sandwich!!! :D
the bacon there was always perfect!!

You want Boveda 62 RH.
Or Integra Boost 62 RH. I prefer the Boveda but they both work just the same.
