Kuwl - Cinderella C99

Wife was in car accident, a lady ran a stop sign.
She in the hospital.
Not to good.
I'm in great pain right now as they put a breathing tube in her.
I don't know what to do but pray
So sorry to hear this man. Don’t think to much about the tube. It serves a bunch of functions, makes things easier. Just be there when you can. Be strong. If she’s not awake talk to her when you’re able.

Way to much bad shit going around these days.

Like others I have questions and thoughts but you don’t need to hear any of it. Just let us know if you need anything. Please feel free to share/vent or ask about anything. No doctors but my family work in hospital. Sometimes that’s helpful.

Best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery. ❤️‍🩹

Ok, first thanks for all the prayers and support, I needed that.

She's ok so far, they took the breathing tube out and gave her a phone to call me.
Her phone got lost, hopefully the police got it.
She's hurtin but ok for what it is. She sounds good and even yelled at me 😁

Shook me to the core, you never know how much they mean to you until something like this happens.
I can't get there because she went to a hospital in buffalo ecmc, usually they take them there when it's bad.
Even tho there is a hospital right next to us.
I'm pretty much blind so can't drive.
No help here for me, no one drives or owns a car!
I'm on my own but she's ok with that, She knows I got to take care of her dog.
Hoping she will be out on Mon or maybe sooner, depends on her breathing.
Everything else is ok but for her ankle, it's taped up.

Car is totaled. Dam! She was 3 blocks from home after dropping off my daughter from work.
Driving along and bam! A car runs the stop sign and smashes into her, Airbags deployed but knocked her out.
Car spun around.
She had a concussion too. Chest hurt so bad she said the pain made her pass out.
Her ankle was under the dash and some kid ran up and got her out.
It'll be awhile before things go to normal here again wowwy!

On the bright side my ebike came in handy to get dog food and stuff for the house.
I am super carful tho.
Made it easy for me instead of walking, Plus I had to go the garage and clean out the car.
On the bad side I think I got an ulcer lol. Doesn't matter cause of the happiness I feel knowing she's alive n comin home soon.

Thanks again guys
I'll post some updats on the harvest and plants when I get a chance, I'm pretty busy and trying to catch a ride up there.

Hey, good to hear, I'd be a wreck, if anything happened to my wife. We made an agreement that I go first, otherwise I'd be fked, its great to hear she's going to be okay, I'm thinking positive thoughts its all I can do from here. ( no not like that) ( gee's)

I looked to see if I could fly up there for a couple of days but there's no flights into Niagara falls on either side of the border from here. I guess there are some regional flights in & private but nothing I could find at what I could afford anyways.

We flew into Hamilton a few years ago but even those flights are now gone, Easy to get to Toronto but with all that fking around it would be just as fast driving.

Google say 17 hrs 19 min.....ha I say ...I could do it in 16 maybe less with luck. I tend to drive 10-15 km over the posted speed when on the highways and I'm pretty good at long haul driving. I wish I could head out tomorrow am but wife, cats, Dr's appointment, life's complicated, 1729898352852.png

Great news! 🎉 (Considering)

Glad the worst is over. I pretty much said the same as Pipecarver in a PM. Me first. I’m only sticking around for her. 🤣😂

Looking forward to hearing about a quick recovery! 👍

@Kuwl you near St Catharines?
IMG_1132.jpeg

Buddy I have to visit is in Hamilton. He no longer drives for medical reasons.

I'm at Niagara Falls NY I could throw a stone from where I live and hit Canada lol
jk but I am real close about a quarter mile from the Rainbow Bridge.
I'm ok and doing well my Grandaughter has a junker car and gave me a ride to the store for some stuff.
No need to come here but I appreciate all the offers and support, it really helps to know you guys got my back.

She yelled at me yesterday :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: so I think she is getting better!
Giving me instructions to cancel appointments and stuff.
She had a bout of pneumonia and they gave her some antibiotics and that kicked it out.
She was disoriented the other day the nurse said she wanted to let the dog out
and something about going across the street to see me lol.
That was from lack of oxygen, that's from her COPD and Sleep Apnea.
I'm confident she will be home in a few more days, then I'll have my hands full for sure.

Yesterday the poltergiest hid my keys to my bike lock.
I looked everywhere and could not find them.
Then while looking I bent over and knocked the bike down.
When it fell the keys appeared on the floor.
I picked the bike up and proceeded to leave for the store.
A few houses down I started to pedal. Nothing, the chain was off.
I put it back on and the wind started to blow and clouds darkened.
Looked like a storm, I said, fk this and turned and went home.
After I got back and looked out, the Sun came out and was shinning.
Something did not want me to go.
Hour later my Grandaughter called and gave me a ride.
Go figure, Happy Halloween!!

As you can see I live really close to the border.

Dam bud rot might kill the whole plant slowly but surely.
I looked at the buds with a loup and see some blackesh looking leaf tips
on the leaves closest to the flower bud.
It don't look natural to me.
I seen online to kill fungus use a mix of vinegar and water (3 tbls per gallon)
I sprayed it with that real good and left the heater and fan on to dry it out good.
Don't know if it will help but at least I tried.
If it continues I will chop it down and hope to get some product out of it.
The buds are firming up finally so there's that.
Going to wait the out this week and if not better I will harvest it.
Some pic's of what I'm seeing.

Hey, good to hear your wife has enough energy in her to give you some crap. The stuff we miss when our wives are hurting hey. Your car looked worse than when we hit the deer, it was probably the air bag going off that shocked her the most. The other car didn't look too bad, I hope they had insurance to pay for this all.

I remember when I got Tboned on the way home from work one night, driving along peacefully then wham I was sitting in a cloud, stars all around me and I was thinking I was dead when someone opened my door and started talking to me and I was like wtf are you doing here then I woke up in an ambulance. Just knocked out with a split forehead, minor brain damage...lol...

Do you have a lawyer? don't accept their first offer, I was stupid the fkers took the max they could take off me in a slam dunk case they got 33%. I was told afterwards I could have negotiated it down to 20% but I was in their world and didn't know I could do that and say...ah...thanks but I'll talk to another lawyer, your fee seems a bit too high.

One of the first things I did was call a lawyer and open a case so yep I did.
It sounds exactly like what happened to my wife .
Airbags hurt her chest head and burnt her chest.
Our first lawsuit from an accident took nine years to resolve because we change lawyers because the first one was an idiot
Yeah, my brother already told me about their lowball offers so yeah we are not gonna take that first one for sure.
My brother got T-boned they offered him 2000 for his truck. He found one online exactly like the truck he had for $10,000 and posted to them and they paid up the 10 grand so we will negotiate.
I’ll just be glad when she gets home. I don’t like being alone and damned if we didn’t have the exact same conversation that you had with your wife. If she goes before me, I’m screwed.
Right now, I’m keeping busy cleaning getting her room ready for her to get back in it because I think she’ll be home either tomorrow or the next day unless something stupid happens.

We need Budbuilders app to click on. I was thinking. Ha ha ha.

I finally got a chance to clean out the pot, empty the tank and do some cleaning down there found out what the problem was with the air going in, the roots got plugged up and had to turn off the air machine for a couple days and all of a sudden it started working again.
It seems the dome got cocked a bit and pinched air hose up against the accessory that goes on top of the dome inside the pot.
The roots look pretty good. I’ve had better looking roots, but these aren’t bad.

Hey, try an air stone, those tubes don't put out the air well enough. My domes get wrapped in roots. I like the original domes but I think the pin holes in the tubes suck,..er blow...just not enough...lol

Don't go cleaning up too much, she'll think she's not needed....or...expect it all the time. neither one is a good outcome. Maybe some Halloween chocolates or flowers a special carved pumpkin...lol...I'm a real romantic...lol

Yes 18/6 will harvest on Wednesday > Snowing all day today wont last suppose to warm up to 18 on Wednesday thats when i will harvest.
Snow???? No!!!.....its too early to hear that word, its just October. I shiver in anticipation of it coming our way. I keep my car idling at Tim's every chance I get, just to do all I can in the global warming movement.

Harvest Day!
This was a good one, It got me back on track, I think.
The Athena nutes made life easy for me to concentrate on any problems with focus.
I will add the PK to my nutes next time, it's a bloom supplement, other than that, they worked perfectly for me.

I ended up with 4oz of bud. I think that is pretty good for the rocky start the plant had.
The final product looks really good.
I'm happy with this grow and am looking forward to the next much larger grow with Athema nutes.
I never had such ease of growing in the Auto Pots.
No problems with dirty nute water, films or clogged filters.
Never had to clean out the tank but did wash out the tank filter 2 times, for the heck of it.
I did adjust the light height a couple of times but kept it at 100%. (MarsHydro TS1000 240w)
I used the Spider Farmer Glow30 supplimental side lights (30w), Glow80 Deep Red Spectrum (80w)
and UV 45" lights (30w) for this grow. UV's were used the last 3 weeks, Reds used all the way through.
I do think they helped but not sure how much, the buds came out beautiful and lots of em.
Buds were large all the way down, I have no popcorn to speak of.
Good terp coverage as well.
I might change some lighting next time and only use the Reds and UV's the last 4 weeks of flower.
And would definetly do something to kill the bugs in the Coco Coir befor planting.
I made a mistake of over nuteing it by putting to much bloom and not following directions lol well
I have problems with following directions, that's why my wife yells at me hahaha.
The plant was so heavy with moist tight buds I got worried about mold and used 2 occilating fans in
the hanging room and dried them out a lil too fast - 7 days.
Curing now in grow bags with Moiscon RH 62% humi control pack in there.

Wife Update: She doing well, called me last night and sounded real good.
She might get a room today so then she will have a phone.
But they might keep her another day where she's at (Observation Room)
till they release her. I'm hoping to find out more today.

Is that Ghost getting comfortable? Looks a bit like our boy Dusk hes the smallest of our 3 and a lot of fun. I'm glad to hear your wife is mending up okay. Still a weeks hospital stay shows the severity of the injury and there's going to be long recovery time. I aches thinking about going through something like that at our age now.

You got the whole 9 yards with lighting eh? lol. I like the far reds but they are tricky to use. I've tried a variety of ways with them and this last run I only used in Veg up until flip for 15 min after lights out and they stretched so much I had to shut them down and I still grew out past my lights, multiple times.

I think the reds really help expand the leaves and stalk but when and how long to use them for is tricky to figure out. The same in flower, I've tried different timing with 15 min after lights out in flower to help extend the lights on time to shorten flower days. Not sure it helped much to shorten but they did mature well.

Talking about this I may add one into my veg tent with my new sprouts. Ya I have a far red puck just the right size...lol ....its going in for 15 min at lights out with my 10 day old sprouts that are thriving now.

Glad to hear that your wife is on the right track. Hope she gets home soon and heals faster than expected.

Your cat overlord seems pleased with harvest. Looks great!

Nope that's Shady , Ghost is hard to get a pic of, she disappears fast.

I looked on the SF site and it said to use the Red's the same as regular lights 12/12.
So that's what I did. I like the idea of useing them during veg but don't think I would cause of the height of my room.
Maybe the first few weeks to give them a bump.
I think my side lights worked good as far as the lower buds look, the size/amount of them.

Wifey's Home!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
They let her come home today 3pm
She got a P-bag and an Oxygen tank with her but she climbed the stairs to
her room without much help, I carried the 20lb oxygen tank but she did it.
Bruised and in discomfort but the main thing is she's home.
Thanks guys for your support when my mind turned to jello.

Now I got this outside plant that I'm not sure where it's at in flower.
The flowers did firm up but not seeing those colas like I'm used to seeing.
I took some pic's today maybe you can tell.
Either I'll chop this weekend or wait for further development.
I think the tri's look cloudy and might harvest early if it don't progress any further.
Ever since I sprayed with the vinegar/water solution they were not happy bout that and leaves drooped as a result.
IMG_6201.JPGIMG_6204.JPGIMG_6207.JPG
Not sure when I'll start another grow.
I will be taking care of wifey for a bit.
And there's this..... I got a lot of unsmoked pretty good weed and a good selection too!
The treasure chest to the left has bout half a poiund of cured in there.
Never thought I would be so rich, thx Bud Builders!

Harvested the Green House plant Fruity Pebbles 2.0 last Friday.
Been busy, still am but thought I'd check in.
It's in the drying room now and slowly drying up but I think another week should do it.
Lotta junk leaves hanging on this plant, too much and not time to thin it out.
Buds look smallish but we'll see after it dries and I can clean it up to see what I got.

Linda's doing as good as it gets for what happened to her.
Lot's of Dr. appointments and finding out about paper work, lawyers and NY State laws.
But she is doing much much better, so there's that.

I gotta get going so here's a pic she took of me :) and a couple of pic's of Ghost.
She getting braver and braver and stands her ground with Sky.
When I look at the pic's on my iphone it names the animal's breed in the info and it says Ghost is a Siberian cat!
I'm getting her hooked on Treats, lmao.

Its great to hear your wifes home and on the mend, Hard to think straight when they are hurting. I hope it means a good cash settlement afterwards., maybe a bonus trip somewhere exotic when its all done. Hawaii? Cancun? Vegas? I'd be planning an escape for a few days anyways. Ah shit then there's our pets to worry about. It was easier when I was young without responsibilities to look after.

My cats love me cause I'm the treat guy, they come running and get to their treat spots as I come in the house. Dusky gets all happy feet when I pull the bag out for him to sniff before I give him the treats

It's good to hear that you wife is healing. I don't envy you guys having to learn all the medical and legal stuff. It stinks that we have to become experts in medicine and law at the same time we're trying to recover and adjust to some recent tragedy.

Hope Fruity Pebbles smokes good. Ghost is beautiful.

Fruity Pebbles 2.0 (Green House re-veg Grow)
Cleaned and in the bag for curing.
This was the hardest clean up I ever did.
4 days of hours by pain in the butt hours, my eyes are killin' me.
It was like pealing grapes, the leaves were so wrapped around the buds.

I ended up with 80g's or 2.8oz's
Add that to the 4oz I got from the C99 plant and it's almost 7 ounces.
I smoked a bit from some buds I took and dried and put in cure bag a week ago.
Not bad and better than expected.
Smell is fruity an strong with a lil fuelyness to it.

Taking the winter off, I need a break and need to care for wifey for awhile
till she gets back on her feet.
Not sure how we are going to do it with no car and settlement, months to years away.
One day at a time is all we can do but will have to cut expenses to save for a car.
My light bill has to come down for sure.
Anyway this should tide me over for along time with the stash I already have.

Cats play hard at night and sleep all day since Ghost came on board.
That kitty has fired up my two older (3yrs) cats.
They play slide the chair with great glee.
One of then will run full speed and jump on the chair to make it move and slide across the floor.
They do this over and over! Like a bunch of kids.
Another thing is Ghost eats ALOT! I think she's going to be a big cat.'

Been awhile :)
I'm chillin' and taking care of business.
Taking good care of her and everything is fine here.
I'm bored tho and achin' to get back into it.
But cannot do that right now.

That don't stop me from planning it.
Black Friday was my chance. Oooooh I'm feeling weak.
Like the Godfather, it's an offer I can't refuse.
Sooooo I did it!
Brought a new light and some other goodies!
My old FC4800 works great and I was thinking of retiring it to a back up, if ever needed.
Which I do not really have atm.

1st I went to SF, they offered a discount of 8% off a nice light (SF7000 650w) with controller and free grinder for $509 -8%
I added on a 4 tier plant stand $107 + $509 = $616 - 8% = $566 + the light came with a controller in the pkg. deal.
I thought great deal and proceeded to checkout.
Not to be.....After much hassle because they blocked the extra 8% by putting in another discount of .05 cents
and they would not remove it.
Not to happy at that point (understatement) and went looking at MarsHydro.
Found a light there WoW!
MH Smart Dimmable FC-E8000 BridgeLux 800w Led Grow Light
with Smart Eviromental Control Sys Monitor Temp, Hummi, Co2, PPFD ($134.99)
I added on a 6" clip fan ($39.99) and Iconnect smart controller ($8.99) (I didn't know one came with it so now have 2 of em)
Total $599.36 - $30 discount = $569.96
All discounts went thru and they also sent me a gift pkg. of a 4 layer Mesh Herb Drying rack w/ prunning sheer (22.99).
I was really happy about that buying experience. Then I seen those IR lights I don't have.
I have the Deep Reds and UV's so why not? lol
They were on sale of course! $63.99 at the time but noticed I have points to use 28000 or something like that.
That took $28 off and I got the IR30's for $35.99 a good deal, I brought them too.
Now that FC8000 EVO light will do sunrise and sunset and be controlled by an app on my iphone too.

I don't think I will use Co2 tho, at least not yet. This light is BIG, much larger than my old 4800. (I think it's 44"x45")

Some kitty cat pic's over the last month. Ghost is getting bigger and less scared of me.
She likes chicken and I feed her a few peices every night after Sky n wifey go to bed, Ghost hops up on the seat
next to mine and waits for chicken hahaha. But still won't let me pet or touch. Like MC Hammer "Can't touch this"
But will come back to me for another piece of that chicken.
Now when I open the front window curtains, she jumps up and lays there looking out.
Lil bit by lil bit. I figure when she out grows out of the kitten stage, she will pacify.
Panda always acting cute. Panda and Shady looking out the my bathroom window at the birds pecking the wild berries on that vine.

Not sure when I will start the next grow but thinking on 2 strains and 8 plants total w/ Two 4 pot AP Systems.
I also brought the SF AP system ( it has only one valve for the Four 5 gal. cloth pots and might use it )

I love it, lol.. Black Friday gotta haver mode...I bought a scrollsaw, and 3 fans for the price of 2 from Mars now I have 2 sitting in their box taking up space. I looked at new lights too but my tents are full of lights, I looked at the UV Blues but didn't bite, I was close but...

I'm so loaded up electrically I'm afraid another watt or 2 will blow a fuse. Each time I plug something in I wait for a few sec before I'm sure it will hold. My 1250Watt heater takes up too much of my free amperage. I have it on the 750Watt mode but its still a lot on 15 amp fuses with 900w in lights, fans, humidifier split on 2 circuits Then there's the Dehue I split with my veg tent on another. When I plug my wet-vac in shes close to maxed out.

I need a full service change, If you have a few 15 Grand extra kicking around...lol..... Elon, Elon...ELON... I may have to try him at home....lol
I'm being bugged about getting a heat pump, we can get them free ( because we qualify as poor seniors in our old home) but there's not a watt to spare and we'd need more than 1 in our odd shaped home. The Elect upgrade would cost more than the heat pump so I don't think we qualify for that & a pump

Glad everything seems to be on the up and up with ya Kuwl. Pipe and Zen are what the youngsters would call real ones... true pals.

That new lights going to be super sweet man!

Crap my box is probably illegal with the extra stuff I added to it.
Last I heard it would be $3500 to change it out, but that was 20 yrs ago haha.
I got a guy that would do it for less but I'm kinda shy on that route.

I brought a new 6" exhaust fan to replace the one the broke and they did the same thing, blocked my discount.
I don't know what's going on with them but it seems I'm on a black list.
I think after all the discounts from MH I got my 800w light for $400, now that's what I call a deal.
800w is alot compared to the 480w light I have used. I also had 2 140w lights on at the time for side lights.
I usually do not use full power. When I did, I usually get seeds, almost every time.
I have to go by LUX reading and try to use a high of 65k 75k but no higher.
And I have a problem of not knowing the proper height, so I vary from 12" to 16" depending on the overall height of the canopy.
I really brought this light to modern up my grow room and for the distribution of light to the outside edges of the canopy.
Last time I did 8 plants it was a problem getting them all into the best light.
I'm hopin' this light will heat up the room so I don't have to use my oil heater to much.
This light does not fit in between the beam and furnace pipes, where the FC4800 did, so it's about 4-6" lower
But It's size covers a much larger area!

Ya they are trying to force heat pumps on us here in NY.
I won't get one ever. I heard they are not good for really cold weather and use tons of electricity.
I had oil when I moved here and it was a nasty way to heat the house.
It broke and the landlord put in a gas furnace.
Loved it and after we brought the house + 10yrs or so, it broke.
We brought a new one and hope it lasts forever haha.
Cheapest way to heat by far, at least it is here.
I would like to buy one of those water heaters that give you endless hot water on demand.
Maybe some day.

I'm gearing up for a run but in no hurry cause there is so much to do on this property aka "The Ranch"
I'm really strong on LSD, it's been my go to smoke so far. That's one strain I want more of.
Not sure of the other yet. Might even buy one. My seeds are getting old.
I need a smoke, later gater.

They're trying to push us onto 1 power source, ELECTRIC..but we and many others don't have the capacity to do that. Our last oil bill was $550, it'll last 6 weeks the next will be close to same but the Jan/Feb/March cold months it'll go to $700/6 week and we run about $400 electric, with my lights, heaters, Chiller ( off now)....We get notices from some Efficiency group telling us we're double our neighbours in similar sized homes and ways to cut back on usage....lol.....we'd be all same without my grow....Nosy bastards!
