As my last journal is no longer available I’ll start one here. I won’t be making more than one. I’ll just start and finish back to back.

If your following me your either lost or extremely desperate. But I welcome the company.

Here are the current plants.

The cannabis plants are all my own clones now. I grew the plant from seed and liked it’s older sister so much I cloned these before I even knew the sex. (Only had one male out of more than a dozen pop.)

When I trim I have trouble tossing good branches so I toss them in the water bucket I use for humidity.




They keep rooting on their own so I give away or toss. Only allowed 4.

For 2023 I decided to start rolling with douche nozzle. Highly effective and a crowd pleaser. Sometimes I go with the whole brevity thing and just use Nozzle.
Just a great word, nozzle. Right up there with "ointment"

Clones Veg Day 66:

Twins and Solo need a trim. Changes coming this weekend.

This puts the Twins at about 41” soil to canopy and Solo @ 36”.

Solo is up first for trimming. 3’ tall and flat top. Exactly as I planned. Only not after stretch and two months late.

Question - Haircut first then do I cut off the tops and flip in a week? IDK
She’s already to big.

I was actually wondering if I could stick the top of the plant in the tent and zip the door around the trunk. Almost had it figured out except for runoff.

But then I decided to wait until morning as I was vaping in bed before crashing.

Wow I would prolly do both - clean up the middle for air flo and penetration and supcrop the tops , never too late to train ? Lol or I’ve persona cut the tops off and used to clone yeah lowers are better but it works - either way u got ur hands full ! Hell in my tent I may cut em and flower same day not give a chance to recover just to slow em down but that’s no TV the right thing to do either ,

I would think it will be fine. It's not a switch, it's a transition from veg to flower that takes weeks. You will be fine if the rest is dialed in.

Fans drown me out. Big guy, soft voice. Most of the time.

Twins are there now 40” soil to canopy. Lights at max hight and distance.

Solo is at most 36” so same. LED can go a bit higher if I redo setup.

I’ve done too many cuz I start shit I can’t finish and keep veggin till there’s room for flower - I’ve actually cut them back multiple times . Biggest tip from me is keep that center mass cleaned out personally I’d cut 25% of that foliage out of the center

Def not ideal but I’ve cut 6” off to and thru em right in flower no trouble your still pumping vegs nutes anyways /and I’m sure it does a lot but to the layman such as myself just slows em down flower still happened no issues

I’ve resisted this method for years but can’t deny the yield and quality a good scrog and LED will give ya - I plan to add this in my grow next round

I started there. Told god my plans...he laughed.

Saw the problem and yanked it off/out in time with no damage. I have two table tops legs and extensions. Extra pipe if needed so I can make extra legs or buy more pipe.

G$ and I discussed putting one in each tent and one outside. Which is the plan. We also talked squashing a SCROG back on but now it’s 18” taller. With stretch coming. That’s why I’m asking how much can I chop?

All the new growth or only a little? If I take off the entire tops say 10” down from canopy isn’t it going to shock it bad?

I wasn’t allowed. OCD almost killed me.

But it worked. That’s why she’s on the table. But if I’m cutting the tops off I’ll trim after. Less work and pain for me this way.

10 inches quite a bit - will that leave you with enough bud sites ?
