You ever done ice extraction? Getting excited to try it outExtracting oils will always be in the 1-10% range from yield input, afaik.
I've not personally been able to yet, but pretty familiar with the process. You ever done ice extraction? Getting excited to try it out
The plan so far
Chop plant, bucking leaving any frosty trim intact.
Vacuum sealing bud, freezing for at least a day
Presoak buds for 30 minutes,
Proceed with agitation inside of 5 layer bags,
Extract all levels of hash one layer at a time, lightly squeeze water out using cheese cloth or a micron bag,
FReeze hash
Repeat at least 3 times with same plant material
Take hash out of freezer, grind over microplane onto parchment paper on top of cardboard(should make powder) air dry
I think those are the steps
G$ shared a trick with the bags. Put the trim or buds in the middle size bag then put it in the freezer. (I don’t recall the micron size atm. I’ve left it for an hour and/or over night.) Then shake it over a white board for collection. I shake it over the trim bin. After a while, say 10 minutes, put it back into the freezer. Repeat until it’s no longer worth the trouble.I've frozen mine overnight. Not sure if that was long enough.

This is just a quick hack to get the kief. But the point is an hour in the deep freeze should be okay for this but over night should be fine for bubble hash.
AI reply: Freeze cannabis for at least 24 hours (best 24–72 hours) before making bubble hash to make trichomes more brittle and improve yield. Store in airtight, light‑proof containers in the freezer until use.
Ya, I washed 3 times each time I've made it and he got back a bit less than he I did. Maybe I was expecting too much. He also let it sit much longer than I did between washes. I didn't look like his bud was frozen first either. The video did get me a bit excited to try again. Sure would beat picking seeds out to roll joints with this stuff. How many washes with each batch? I've seen that it takes at least 3 rewashes with the same material to get most of it out
This is the one video i watched, seems easy enough. Yeah I'm sure there is loss, but i want to make my own vapes, and making rosin from dried material didn't burn right. Everyone says i need to start with bubble hash, then press that for something good enough to vape.
I bought a cheap vacuum bag sealer just for this test operation. Figure i already dropped a few hundred on the press, might as well go down all the rabbit holes lolUsing a vacuum freezer is best, but can just use a regular fridge freezer
Yeah I'm a little excited, not going to lie. Also it gets me out of trim jailYa, I washed 3 times each time I've made it and he got back a bit less than he I did. Maybe I was expecting too much. The input quality makes a big difference too, some genetics will just squish better, and depending how "good" the plant was grown, how much brix it produces, cannabinoids, etc.I bought a cheap vacuum bag sealer just for this test operation. Yeah not sure if I'm going to let soak that long, but the guy does get a great second and third yield, maybe because of this extra long soak
Should have around a pound to try this out with, will do my best to document and share results and insight.
I can't say that one would or wouldn't snuff out the other, but those stalks get HUGE eventually. That's for sure.Man i really want to leave both in there and see what happens. If they will eventually be in solution won't they be both be able to get all the nutes they need?
You can definitely grow both of them in that, just need to supply for the needs of double.Man i really want to leave both in there and see what happens. If they will eventually be in solution won't they be both be able to get all the nutes they need?
Figure if i have two i don't need to top them? Just kinda train them away from each other... Now I'm thinking that in my head and maybe I'm crazy cause they will be all over each other.
Just hate killing a perfectly good little plant lol but i guess i have to

Already pulled out, saw roots spreading in the bottom and better to get it now then have dead unconnected root matter in there later, maybe i started two weeks early, just trying to cut down on the slow time when startingI can't say that one would or wouldn't snuff out the other, but those stalks get HUGE eventually. All in all.. I'd say it'll depend on your planned veg time. A month? Do it. 2 months? Give one the axe. Maybe wait another week or 2 before you decide which to snip. Clone it... fuck it.
That first couple weeks from seed to system does feel like forever.Already pulled out, saw roots spreading in the bottom and better to get it now then have dead unconnected root matter in there later, maybe i started two weeks early, just trying to cut down on the slow time when starting
Just came across this and remembered you guys talking about car audio. Ed, Edd & Eddy always cracked me up"Maybe some neoprene for vibrations, it's cheap, or some sound deadening material like dynamat. The dynamat has a better surface and has built in adhesive on the application side. You could wrap the sides and bottom of the box with that and should do the trick.
Lined my entire last car with the stuff, really awesome, kills all vibrations. You will need an application roller.

It's really great for behind the license plate holder to kill that vibration from big bass. The more you can hit every surface the quieter it will be inside the cabin, but that's extra from what you are asking lol
Another option would be to spray the box with rhino liner, but not sure that would completely work, but it sure looks cool!! Lol

I started getting into that on my Meanstreak 1500. But then I fell in love with the BMW R1200GS. Now it’s in the garage waiting for me to fall back in love. LolGoing to go down another rabbit hole to see what diy options exist, already have the canbus cable coming to let me use some windows software to poke around.
Trust me, I'll do extensive research before changing anything
What the cable can do, comes with in inpa software CD

I've been researching more and more as well. It looks like if i want go the diy route, I'll need the ECU dump with one of these tools like you showed, which is always raw binary and sometimes encrypted. It appears there are a few software solutions to change mappings like fuel air ratio, timing, etc.. but what is needed and most critical is a "definition file" or a file that tells the software where in that raw file the mappings are so you only mess with that and leave everything else as is.So, I got curious and poked around a little. What you are wanting to do looks to be a lot more doable than I realized. Pretty neat. Especially, if you think you're going to get results worth the investment. I didn't compare it with the scanner you shared, but I think this might be another option (along with a pc). I have no idea how the two compare. The one you researched may be much better, or they may be similar:

I can't seem to find any definition files on the up and up web, and may have to search some nefarious places, i found one such source but not sure about the legitimacy.
Then if i use an incorrect mapping file, make changes and flash that I'm fucked and hopefully a reflash of the original dump restores the ECU.
Makes me nervous for sure.
Mario route wants me to buy the device i showed which is only a "slave" tool that only lets him see the file, and he wants $700 to do the "tuning" remotely. But all the forms swear this guy is the only one to trust for this type of remote tune.
I'm also contacting some local shops that specialize in BMW tuning to see if they can do anything on site, this one shop did the tune on my jetta and i loved it, it was an APR tune.
I don't have an extra $1k right now to do it the easy way, so i have some time to look around, just want to get it all lined up so when I'm ready to do the downpipe i can get it coded.

Great grow man! Why am I getting a craving for spaghetti?chop chop
vacuum vacuum
freeze freeze lol
picture overload!!
could have done better with her, really just let it ride the past 3-4 weeks without a change, nonetheless the buds could stick to a wall they are so crazy sticky

indent from return pipe, maybe over-vegged? lol
biggest root ball yet, literally took up all the volume in grow bucket, and then occasionally reaching into the epicenter bucket with danglers, absolutely zero root matter in bucket when this came out, all intact and alive and strong.
that hole was where the pumped return comes in (fallponics) and the roots swallowed the air stone lol
i throw them out after each run anyway so no need to go searching in there

No joke... you can eat those roots.Great grow man! Why am I getting a craving for spaghetti?

The tap roots broke the other net cup, it made the whole cup bulge out at the bottom like a bell, crazy. That pic of roots was from the smaller plant. I'm pretty sure I have some spare net cups somewhere, so i just tossed it.No joke... you can eat those roots.
I had a buddy with me, last harvest, and he said they looked like lo mein so I took a bite out of the whitest roots...
I was pleasantly surprised and will likely take a bite next harvest as well. Throw some in a bowl with a few leaves and some ranch and you got yourself a tasty treat![]()
Healthy plants, for sure. That trunk damn near swallowed your whole rockwool cube. The tap roots broke the other net cup, it made the whole cup bulge out at the bottom like a bell, crazy. could never handle that many files or size with most GUI video editing software, at least everyone i tried crashed, too much overhead. I don't need to edit just concat/combine them all while speeding up the frame rate to 8000
final output a little shy of 4 minutes
Thanks brother, part is coming today, will put in tomorrow.Laughing about your wife... not the car. Hope you get it back in shape![]()
