Everything Ninjadip

Man i really want to leave both in there and see what happens. If they will eventually be in solution won't they be both be able to get all the nutes they need?

Figure if i have two i don't need to top them? Just kinda train them away from each other... Now I'm thinking that in my head and maybe I'm crazy cause they will be all over each other.

Just hate killing a perfectly good little plant lol but i guess i have to
All my peppers and some of my tomatoes had doubles. I left the seconds on most as I didn’t expect all to grow. The ones I pulled the second plant out did much better. The ones I left had mixed results.

I was looking at some Wranglers when looking for a new car until my cousin said he had his mini for sale. Can definitely see myself in a jeep, looks like freedom on wheels lol

And old pics of her you want to share?
Maybe. Wife and daughter split them up years ago and it was all photos back then.

I’ll ask wifey to have a look see. She’s in charge of photo albums and the like.

It was a black 88’ YJ with 33” mudders. Hard top and doors were only on in winter. Bikini top the rest of the time. Had custom PVC tubes for fishing rods and/or rifles and a custom lock box behind the back seat. Carpeted in same grey as the floor.

Just pulled them 😞 but what you say makes sense

Hey is there a good thread on here for a beginner into bubble hash? I want to do this to then press into vape worthy rosin

Going to try my hand this harvest, i ordered the 5 bag version to fit 5 gallon buckets

Thinking of doing entire harvest save some choice buds.

I read some how tos and watched a few videos, i think i got it, going to try the ice water method. Didn't see much about the start other than it is best to instantly freeze the buds, is this after drying?

Hey, I bought the bags a few years ago and have done only 2 washes. I found I didn't get back what I put in. My recovery was poor putting in oz and getting back grams, just seemed like a big loss of smoke. I may not have done it 100% right either. I have a bunch of seeded weed I intend on trying it again with cause smoking it is a pain to clean and smoke. I just saw an ad for a tumbler

I've frozen mine overnight. Not sure if that was long enough.

How many washes with each batch? I've seen that it takes at least 3 rewashes with the same material to get most of it out

This is the one video i watched, seems easy enough. Yeah I'm sure there is loss, but i want to make my own vapes, and making rosin from dried material didn't burn right. Everyone says i need to start with bubble hash, then press that for something good enough to vape.

Extracting oils will always be in the 1-10% range from yield input, afaik.
You ever done ice extraction? Getting excited to try it out

The plan so far
Chop plant, bucking leaving any frosty trim intact.
Vacuum sealing bud, freezing for at least a day

Presoak buds for 30 minutes,
Proceed with agitation inside of 5 layer bags,
Extract all levels of hash one layer at a time, lightly squeeze water out using cheese cloth or a micron bag,
FReeze hash
Repeat at least 3 times with same plant material

Take hash out of freezer, grind over microplane onto parchment paper on top of cardboard(should make powder) air dry

I think those are the steps

I've not personally been able to yet, but pretty familiar with the process.

Then take the hash and squish that,
That's some primo.

Or put the hash in Saram for a month, for piatella hash, also some primo.

Extract of an extract = filtration, purity.

G$ shared a trick with the bags. Put the trim or buds in the middle size bag then put it in the freezer. (I don’t recall the micron size atm. I’ve left it for an hour and/or over night.) Then shake it over a white board for collection. I shake it over the trim bin. After a while, say 10 minutes, put it back into the freezer. Repeat until it’s no longer worth the trouble.

This is just a quick hack to get the kief. But the point is an hour in the deep freeze should be okay for this but over night should be fine for bubble hash.

AI reply: Freeze cannabis for at least 24 hours (best 24–72 hours) before making bubble hash to make trichomes more brittle and improve yield. Store in airtight, light‑proof containers in the freezer until use.

Using a vacuum freezer is best, but can just use a regular fridge freezer

Funny I saw this today I have 8 plants hanging in my basement and had a malfunction with my light timer and the entire batch revegged on me so I need to hash it to salvage it. I have the bubble dude machine and the bags but the two times I tried making hash before I got such horrible yields I failed miserably

Ya, I washed 3 times each time I've made it and he got back a bit less than he I did. Maybe I was expecting too much. He also let it sit much longer than I did between washes. I didn't look like his bud was frozen first either. The video did get me a bit excited to try again. Sure would beat picking seeds out to roll joints with this stuff.

I bought a cheap vacuum bag sealer just for this test operation. Figure i already dropped a few hundred on the press, might as well go down all the rabbit holes lol

Yeah I'm a little excited, not going to lie. Also it gets me out of trim jail 😂

Yeah not sure if I'm going to let soak that long, but the guy does get a great second and third yield, maybe because of this extra long soak

Should have around a pound to try this out with, will do my best to document and share results and insight.

The input quality makes a big difference too, some genetics will just squish better, and depending how "good" the plant was grown, how much brix it produces, cannabinoids, etc.

I can't say that one would or wouldn't snuff out the other, but those stalks get HUGE eventually. That's for sure.

All in all.. I'd say it'll depend on your planned veg time. A month? Do it. 2 months? Give one the axe. Maybe wait another week or 2 before you decide which to snip. Clone it... fuck it.

You can definitely grow both of them in that, just need to supply for the needs of double.

To add -

The vacuum freezer will pull the moisture out of the buds, where as a regular freezer will not.

That moisture affects the process as well.

Some just put their buds in liquid nitrogen for a bit too.

Extract & squish

Pull the moisture, freeze to turn the silicon trichome heads into "solid beads" that knock off with agitation, the cold keeps them "solid", collect the trichome heads = money

Already pulled out, saw roots spreading in the bottom and better to get it now then have dead unconnected root matter in there later, maybe i started two weeks early, just trying to cut down on the slow time when starting

That first couple weeks from seed to system does feel like forever.

Maybe some neoprene for vibrations, it's cheap, or some sound deadening material like dynamat. The dynamat has a better surface and has built in adhesive on the application side. You could wrap the sides and bottom of the box with that and should do the trick.

Lined my entire last car with the stuff, really awesome, kills all vibrations. You will need an application roller.

It's really great for behind the license plate holder to kill that vibration from big bass. The more you can hit every surface the quieter it will be inside the cabin, but that's extra from what you are asking lol

Another option would be to spray the box with rhino liner, but not sure that would completely work, but it sure looks cool!! Lol

😂 So funny got halfway to change rear speakers tonight and couldn't get the rest of the back panel out before i lost sunlight (no garage) so had to put it all back together...

Then somehow the universe put a YouTube video in my suggested feed that showed me how to remove the top half of the back seat which is what i now see i need to do get the panel the rest of the way out to change 6x9s...

Oh the stuff i do just for good sound lol

After that only stock speakers left are the pillar tweeters, which i definitely need to make it a bit brighter in there. Anyone have any 3/4 or 1" tweeters they don't need??? 😂

Researching how to get this baby tuned to have new mapping when i install the catless downpipe. Not a lot of options for this old baby it looks like, only one guy can do it and goes by the name of mario kart, no joke lol

Runs a service called RPM tuning, you download your ecu map email it to him, he does some magic with whatever you tell him you have upgraded and emails a new one back that you can flash,

Going to go down another rabbit hole to see what diy options exist, already have the canbus cable coming to let me use some windows software to poke around.

Trust me, I'll do extensive research before changing anything

What the cable can do, comes with in inpa software CD
