My wife told me a week or two back that she missed my making chocolate bark. I remembered to buy the ingredients she likes last weekend and made some Monday. I normally use semisweet or just dark chocolate but she loves milk chocolate.

Ever have Dubai chocolate? It's only been around since 2021 so it's newish.
It's on a whole other level.
When costco gets it, a full pallet usually sells out by the afternoon. I got there in the morning and hit the jackpot.
The Lindor went in the freezer for the holidays and will probably cut the cake into 3rds and freeze two of them. The other bag stays in the fridge until it's empty.

Maybe one of the best prime day deals I've ever come across and am going for more in a few days.
Picked up various sizes and the Boost back in July just to see if they could be used for curing and would give what I didn't want to my wife for the kitchen.
She used the biggest for a cut up melon and it kept so fresh so long she confiscated all the new containers. I got four back but will get more for me and some large ones and extra small for the kitchen.
Did your tail wag too when you heard that little hiss of air being vacuumed out when you seal the lid? The number of days they can keep a cut up watermelon fresh and crispy is shocking. 5 days has been the longest for me so far.
But yeah I've brought all my Steeltainers out of retirement, a couple C-Vaults, and some new rubbermaid Brilliants for curing weed.
Lining with parchment after lessons learned and using Boosts but only because Boveda wasn't on the prime day sale last time

Yes I've used Boost, Boveda, and Integra. They're all the same thing IMO but Boveda is usually most expensive of all three and most common/popular/widely available.
So I'll take Boveda if on sale but if not, whichever is the best deal for the size I'm looking for.

I don't keep the RH pack in there for the life of that weed though. After about 3-5 weeks in cure with the pack, I pull the pack, seal the container, and drop my cooler to below freezing for long term storage.

Like you could paint it gold and build the standard pole and flag and have you flag says something like Gaius Stoney Magnus

When we sorted thru all the surplus and claimed dibs on extras I grabbed up all the ladies stuff so your girl, the neighborhood ladies who give me horns up on my walks, and my wife all got some swag this year. Made them all happy and smiley hahaha!

My wife gave me the side eye over the chocolate one. Called it watered down hot chocolate and thinks there's something wrong with me for liking it.
I use a big 14oz yeti mug so I mix bags. I always mix the chocolate with the cinnamon at night or the cinnamon with the catch your zzz. Lemon herbal and hibiscus go well together in daytime hours and I always use a spoonful of honey so none are ever bitter.

That PepperX can be a real evil fucker of a hot sauce man. Use caution! A couple were mild but some from that pack were just pure evil hellfire

Watched some of the WVU game last night and damn. Hard to watch.
Nervous AF about our game. Weather will be a major factor. It's October and it's conference football so all that matters are wins. They can be ugly or sexy AF but winning is all that matters thru this month of football.

I’ve gone back to just large wide mouth mason jars. The fit in our old liquor cabinet and dresser drawers perfectly. I’ll still use the others if we get overflow or son needs a jar but that’s about it.

4 gallons/day and a gawdy ppm no matter what scale is used.
Each week I've walked them up a level...a 10% light increase and a +100ppm in food. This is the week they hit max level and I'm needing to increase flooding cycles and duration they take it all in so fast.
Invisible net is getting the chef's kiss from me.

Only thing I'm gonna change for the next grow is add the second flood bed and reduce plant numbers per bed.
It'll be a haze grow so that's to be expected but if it was another indica grow I'd do 7 plants instead of 9 and sativas will be 5 plants per bed and probably flipped sooner as well.
I flipped these at day 29 so sativas would likely be flipped around day 20 or maybe as early as day 15 if all is firing on 8 cylinders.

Reordered the whole line of FoxFarm CN nutes again from HTG. Sale prices are still good so gallon jugs all around except for micro, still only quarts.
Also bought some Bembe after really liking it's effects on my outdoor plants...will be feeding these ladies that around week 6 of flower.

It's feeling like I could toss all the bones from a 25 piece hot wings platter and an '87 Buick in the rez and I'm pretty sure they'd eat that too.




A little bonus from HTG I picked up along with a couple new pair of titanium snips...gardening sleeves!!!! No more sticky forearms!!!!




Didn't feel up to cooking anything yesterday so I hit up the local sushi dealer for some hot weather comfort food!

cooked it through and tasted a little, went back and added another glug.. put the lid on.. man when i opened that lid and that capsaicin came rushing out and punched me in the face i knew right there it was gonna be a meal for milk!!!!! hahaha

I'm in a cult. It's the HEB cult and I make no apologies for it!! I think so many would freak out over HEB if they ever went in one and especially a flagship store.
I can only compare it to maybe when I was little and always wanted to go in a Toy-R-Us but Mom says no. Now as an adult, HEB is my Toys R Us and I have money and nobody to tell me no!!!

This is the time of year when bad football is fine because we have racing but man WTF are we gonna do after November 1st? Oh yeah...old races and RC cars!!!!
We're just stuck with the o-line and I doubt they get better which will make for a long season. You hope the youth turns a corner but it's been 9 weeks. The next milestone is week 6 of the season and that's this week. Maybe they turn the corner but signs point to no. Then it's maybe by week 9 to salvage a season and just make a bowl and build for next year.
Just an ill combo of losing 3 linemen to the NFL, subpar replacements, free agent misses, and drop off in recruiting.
We hoped to reload but rebuild is staring us in the face and IDK if the powers in charge see it yet. Blinders on, tunnel vision, denial, whatever and however you wanna describe it, that's what it is.
Haven't watched much of the NFL with racing still on. It sucks here because all I seem to get is a rotation of Bills, Chiefs, and Ravens playing each other and the two locals, Cowboys and Texans. Would you watch the NFL if that was your choice? Fucking sucks bro. I never get to see the Raiders, 49ers, Saints, Falcons, or Dolphins...the teams I still have mild interest in.

We're not going up there again this year and leaving it to the newbs and youngins. Thinking about doing some turkey legs on the grill though just for that state fair vibe with the food.

It was damn near disaster with the cardboard guys on the back wall.
I bottomed out the tables to make sure I had clearance to do it but a part of Bill got hung up on it. It twisted and knocked Hank off then he fell and knocked out the power for the right table. When I lowered again only one table worked and the bed listed pretty bad. Put it back level, pulled the two guys out, then low crawled under there to reconnect the table power. So after all that, no way I was putting the two guys back. they can hang in the drying tent!

I want this to be perpetual but perpetual is based on the season. I want that carport tent up and running with the 2x2 flood and drain but it's 105 degrees in there. I need this weather to break from Summer heat to revisit that idea but maybe in coming weeks it will be doable again.
I doubt I'll mix sativa and indicas together doing this method now. It really calls for companion plants and not a bunch of wild cards so I think either/or is a good plan.

Plan is to always start everything in coco/perlite in flood and drain with mild nutes. After 2-4 weeks they can either continue on in coco/perlite or yep, go into soil but I'm liking coco/perlite a ton more right now.

It pretty much is like soil except there's no compost or castings with those being replaced by hydro nutes. Hydro nutes are far more customizable to the grow than compost ever could be so where as organics is a one trick pony, hydro-organics has that pony able to read, write, and fly!
The biodiversity is narrowed down much more so rather than have all the super heroes there, working with mostly trichoderma and chitin, I don't have all the super friends but i damn sure have Batman and Superman!
Add into that, flood & drain is a helluva autowatering system and this system is rocking!
Got me feeling all evangelical and shit with this rig!!!

Each week I've walked them up a level...a 10% light increase and a +100ppm in food. This is the week they hit max level and I'm needing to increase flooding cycles and duration they take it all in so fast.
Invisible net is getting the chef's kiss from me.

Only thing I'm gonna change for the next grow is add the second flood bed and reduce plant numbers per bed.
It'll be a haze grow so that's to be expected but if it was another indica grow I'd do 7 plants instead of 9 and sativas will be 5 plants per bed and probably flipped sooner as well.
I flipped these at day 29 so sativas would likely be flipped around day 20 or maybe as early as day 15 if all is firing on 8 cylinders.

Reordered the whole line of FoxFarm CN nutes again from HTG. Sale prices are still good so gallon jugs all around except for micro, still only quarts.
Also bought some Bembe after really liking it's effects on my outdoor plants...will be feeding these ladies that around week 6 of flower.

It's feeling like I could toss all the bones from a 25 piece hot wings platter and an '87 Buick in the rez and I'm pretty sure they'd eat that too.

Didn't feel up to cooking anything yesterday so I hit up the local sushi dealer for some hot weather comfort food!

Oh ya, it looks awesome, You've just forced me to go to our favorite Japanese restaurant near Costco....its been a while and we qualify for the 15% seniors discount...lol....They have to at least double the wasabi you have there. My wife loves the ginger & there's a strawberry mango roll we have to get each time....if it wasn't an hours drive I'd be think hard on it for tonight

I can only compare it to maybe when I was little and always wanted to go in a Toy-R-Us but Mom says no. Now as an adult, HEB is my Toys R Us and I have money and nobody to tell me no!!!

The next milestone is week 6 of the season and that's this week. Maybe they turn the corner but signs point to no. Then it's maybe by week 9 to salvage a season and just make a bowl and build for next year.
Just an ill combo of losing 3 linemen to the NFL, subpar replacements, free agent misses, and drop off in recruiting.
We hoped to reload but rebuild is staring us in the face and IDK if the powers in charge see it yet. Blinders on, tunnel vision, denial, whatever and however you wanna describe it, that's what it is.
Haven't watched much of the NFL with racing still on. It sucks here because all I seem to get is a rotation of Bills, Chiefs, and Ravens playing each other and the two locals, Cowboys and Texans. Would you watch the NFL if that was your choice? Fucking sucks bro. I never get to see the Raiders, 49ers, Saints, Falcons, or Dolphins...the teams I still have mild interest in.

We're not going up there again this year and leaving it to the newbs and youngins. Thinking about doing some turkey legs on the grill though just for that state fair vibe with the food.

When I lowered again only one table worked and the bed listed pretty bad. Put it back level, pulled the two guys out, then low crawled under there to reconnect the table power. So after all that, no way I was putting the two guys back. they can hang in the drying tent!

I want this to be perpetual but perpetual is based on the season. I want that carport tent up and running with the 2x2 flood and drain but it's 105 degrees in there. I need this weather to break from Summer heat to revisit that idea but maybe in coming weeks it will be doable again.
I doubt I'll mix sativa and indicas together doing this method now. It really calls for companion plants and not a bunch of wild cards so I think either/or is a good plan.

Plan is to always start everything in coco/perlite in flood and drain with mild nutes. After 2-4 weeks they can either continue on in coco/perlite or yep, go into soil but I'm liking coco/perlite a ton more right now.

It pretty much is like soil except there's no compost or castings with those being replaced by hydro nutes. Hydro nutes are far more customizable to the grow than compost ever could be so where as organics is a one trick pony, hydro-organics has that pony able to read, write, and fly!
The biodiversity is narrowed down much more so rather than have all the super heroes there, working with mostly trichoderma and chitin, I don't have all the super friends but i damn sure have Batman and Superman!
Add into that, flood & drain is a helluva autowatering system and this system is rocking!
Got me feeling all evangelical and shit with this rig!!!

i've only watched a couple entire games so far.. a couple horns games and a raiders game. i've watched at least a little of each of the raiders games so far but man it's so gut wrenching and sad to see. so many issues and so many weak spots.. it's another complete rebuild again.. we have this new RB that is like a bowling ball rolling downhill that is tough to tackle but the coach says no, don't use him much.. gotta save him.. save him for what??? save him for the next head coach to trade away for $$$!!! hasn't pete carrol ever watched anything in the nfl. last week i think geno smith went for like 40% two picks and no TD's.. what a stud!!! yeah but save the young sprey RB's legs... my prediction is head coach gone before the season is over and chip kelley fired before all the real nfl teams start playoffs.

another sad sad year to be a raider fan! i need to look into a whole new sport to root for,,, i wonder how cut throat pickleball is? haha

I have Hulu Live + Dinsney + ESPN and pretty much get what I need. I'm more of a series, documentary, movie guy nowadays unless racing is on.
I used to watch NFL Red Zone channel but I don't get it now. I get NFL network which is similar on game day and it's good enough if I want NFL on.
I don't watch anything else but college football really.
Find myself getting more and more annoyed with everything surrounding sports as well. Like the games are fine but I can do without any pregame or postgame shows and announcers.

I wanna change up my intake and run the temp sensor from a ACI controller outside so rather than time or temp or any other indoor metric, get that intake turn on if outside temps are anywhere between 60 and 80 degrees. Doesn't matter if day or night or anything else but that's something I need right now trying to run this room into optimal conditions.

I lost a few soldiers in the great wall collapse but nothing terrible. I need to gather the bodies.

i'm going to try some different ventilation soon too.. i never messed with it before and i want to try something new.. i picked up one of those refillable ACI carbon filters.
