Oohhhh I love Music.

I want to invest in a good sound system down the line

Let the leaves fadeeeeee mannnnn
Less temp swings were allowed at the end this time, dehumidifier broke and one fan broke last two weeks. was keeping it as dry as i could using the window ac unit on dry mode, which was also making it cold af on lights on too, but knock on wood i made it out of that one without any mold, color be damned lol

Reposting so it's on this page. Oh these things crack me up, i have a fun time making them.

No one thought the song about wanting a red head with a big bush funny? 🤣 Yeah it's a harvest joke

Man i love a good deal, especially when it's direct from the manufacturer

I finally felt it was time to get new bike shoes, these came with the bike and are a little too big for me so i have to over tighten the nylon lace system and after a long ride my feet are numb then itchy when i take the shoes off as blood rushes to it

They aren't the coolest looking, but a deal on old stock and only one color option is fine with me when I'm basically getting them for next to nothin!

Giro regime

So excited, even let me use a fist time customer discount on top of the discounted shoes, down to$64 from a shoe normally over $200

Not a chance I'm losing those new dt swiss wheels, only part that isn't oem and it's cause they don't make the oem wheels anymore lol

Yeah she lived a garage life, but i put her to work! I love unicorn shit, and i love how I've never seen another one, even at big bike events.

I really want to do this 240 mile two day event next year on this thing, but i ain't ready. I need to at least do 60 miles a day like it's nothing to be able to survive the 120 each day on that event.

I got another bike for mountain biking, i love that too, she's got those big wheels you looking for lol i was gifted a carbon fiber handle bar for that one. A $100 used bike that i have put 20 plus years on. Same rims, just tubes, new pedals, new handle bar and grips. The cables were replaced when i bought it.

Only thing on my radar for this one is to rebuild our replace the shocks

Wish i could get just one friend to ride either mtb or road..

I know I'm old and the new stuff/ shoes are cool and all but I used to use bowling shoes while riding, No tread and could slip in and out of my clamped down peddles quickly if needed. Some of the guys would use proper biking shoes with metal clips that could lock onto the peddle but made it awkward and slow to get off them quickly if needed. They / bowling shoes sucked walking /running on pavement/grass and I took a few hard spills because of no tread on the bottom but they were light and cheap.

Funny story, I was riding with 2 friends down to Stanley Park in Vancouver, we were flying and rode into a crowd of folks with no where to go. We slammed on the breaks and because we were all locked onto our peddles we all came to a fast stop and all 3 of us fell over sideways, like a cartoon stop. No injury just embarrassment and a crowd of folks laughing at the scene as we struggled to get our feet unlocked from the peddles. It was bowling shoes from then on.

Oh man, i know that feeling, my first get on, trying the lock in, i just fell over before i even moved lol i realized then that you don't lock both shoes until you get momentum 🤣 but it was like a cartoon, so slow as i fell

It's second nature now, whenever i see a yellow light or traffic ahead my right foot is ready to twist out.

It's def much better on country roads where you don't need to clip in and out

New shoes were delivered today. Even stepped up the cleats to shimano blue, even less wiggle room than the yellows i have been using on old shoes.

2 degrees of freedom vs 6. Just have to really make sure i get them aligned to my feet correctly or I'll have some knee pain.

I know it's not for everyone, but i love the clip in, especially when going up hill.

@Pipecarver you ever get professionally fitted when you had clip ons? I'm debating it. Going to try the new shoes today after work for cleat fitment. If any pain i will try to adjust but seems like so many variables that can be adjusted. Since i have less float in the cleats now, proper fitment is key

No, my riding was 50 years ago we still had lace up tires. Did you ever use those? Fkin pain to repair on the side of the road. When we were riding hard we'd have spare tires with us. Quicker replacing than repairing.

Bowling shoes just fit nicely and once clamped in tightly I was a hill climbing machine. Stand up on the peddles and go, lifting up while pushing down made climbing easier / faster when in shape to ride like the wind on 21lb bikes, ah them were the days.

No i never heard of those kind of tires. My dad even had a vintage Schwinn 3 speed from the 60-70s too, had normal tires.
