My last outside grow was in 2019. I grew them on my apartment's third-floor balcony. It had a western exposure and the plants only received about 3-4 hours of direct sunlight. They grew well, though, and I had a good harvest despite not knowing nearly as much as I do now. I'm sure I harvested too early. One thing I noticed was that we had no noticeable pests. I attributed it to being so high off the ground. We have a balcony at our new place, but it's not as high. I have tomatoes, peppers, strawberries and raspberries there now. So far, only the strawberries are showing signs of pest damage. I'm thinking of putting my latest clones out there because I don't have anywhere else to put them. If I do, I'll be interested to see if they are also free of pests.
