I think just the dealer would get in trouble because the weed is recreational...just not sold in a legal manner. At most a ticket I'd imagine for the buyer. I could be wrong

Weed here in central calif is all over the place.
There are places that sell $49 oz., others have some really nice stuff for multiple hundreds of dollars for an oz.

It's hit and miss. I've had $49 an oz weed that was far superior to multiple hundred dollar and oz weed.
I don't know if it was the dispensary or the grower that was at fault, but usually dry/cure is the big problem, sometimes it's just lousy weed, but usually it seems like it was probably pretty good at one time, just not treated well.

Without waste, I'd guess at 280 each 100mg gummies can be made from an oz of weed.
But, what get's lost along the way? 10%, 20% more? In mass production, I'd expect less waste (more opportunity to hide waste by putting less desirable product into the mix).

If I could achieve 200 each 100mg gummies at $25 a pop, I'd be happy.

I'm trying to find a better way to make edibles than I have now. I've been making dry ice keif and making 100 pieces/20g keif. That's about 25 pieces per oz. Depending on strain, the product is about like a 100mg store bought. It just seems like I'm wasting too much, there has to be a better way that's still easy.

I'm attempting cannabutter and CG's JollyRancher recipe, I'm also trying an alcohol extraction, but I gotta figure out what to do with that as I don't drink alcohol. 1st world problem though.

Problem is there isn't any incentive for jurisdictions to deal with small farms. Why would you want to deal with 100 licensees that are probably underfunded when you can have 10 well funded corporate entities that have the mechanisms to fund your election campaigns through alternative means?

Probably the only incentive is for someone who values pride in their product more than $$$, therefore you’re probably right!

$65 ounces, 100mg drinks are $8, and i get 10 packs of carts for $100, and $10 grams of dab. All from a medical dispensary in Maine.
Its a 6 hour ride one way so i only stop in when im visiting my FIL. Its nice to stop in and pick up 100 dollars worth of stuff for home once in a while.


Dispos here are outrageously priced, they want $65 an EIGHTH after taxes.... Or $50 for 100mg edible. NYS needs to just fuck off

Well we are finally at the point that I can buy weed cheaper than I can grow it. At least edibles; I can still beat the $3g buds. The stores are selling 2,000mg gummies for $40, and 1g vape cartridges are $15. Anyone have lower prices then that, I'd like the hear it.

I'm getting ounces of decent quality outdoor stuff for anywhere between $15 and $30 depending on the sale % taken off....

They are telling me that they can't charge me less than what they pay for it by law ...

I just made a trip to the dispensery. I got 1/8 of the best bud and 2g of dabs for $30. The best bed was lemon breath-tested at 30.57% THC and it's not as good as my average buds. I have to call bullshit in that 30%. The dabs are unicornz and soap-both are good. Edibles are $30 for 2000mg.

Depends on where and what you're growing. A lot of weed at the dispos is schwag and they charging top dollar for it and that's the Bay Area.

Bought some Trop Cherry for $45 for an 1/8. It was worse, in literally every way, than the stuff we grew. Less flavor, nugs were smaller, less dense, more leafy, terps were wack and the high was even more meh than normal trop cherry.

I've also found it depends on the strain. Bag appeal moves, big nugs move, purple moves. Every time I grow the trop cherry I'm out within a couple weeks. Still have 1/4lb of Glitter Bomb from the same grow, and it smells better, taste better and the high is SO MUCH BETTER. Only issue it has is it's probably closer to the 30% THC it claims than most other strains and a lot of smokers, new and old, complain it hits too hard.

It sadly is. Last month between my solar bill + overages from my electric company i paid $390. We’ll see what it’s like this month without the lights going.

Around here dispos are dumping oz's for $90. It's mostly outdoor and greenhouse light dep so the quality is minimal at best.

Dang I'm spoiled now I guess. I'm hate paying more than $60 on oz. You can get $30 oz that are poop, probably moldy and quite gross but you can get bomber oz for $50 at Green Cross with a card.

I'm in MA and my last electric bill was $327, and I haven't had my tents running for a few months, because I knew it was going to be a hot and humid summer and didn't want to be harvesting in July or August. I also don't have any AC running because I live in an old farm house. When I grow in the summer, and have the AC cranking in the grow room window, my monthly electric bill has hit close to $700.

The last time I was at a Taco Sesh here in Cali pounds of hydro were going for around $2,300. Light dep was going for $1,400. In my time working at grow ops every master grower was paid to produce as much dry weight as possible. Quality was secondary.

I used to get $300 for a 30 gram bag about 9 years ago.

Everything is so new for most of the country, that things haven't settled out yet. Right now, cheap and high potency seem to be what Michigan growers want. But at some point people are bound to notice that great weed exists, rather than dried out, bad tasting (though sometimes powerful) shwag that they get in dispensaries.

Just 3 years ago I was paying $1200 a QP no breaks~!
Never been in dispo and hopefully never will.
The black market is still in control here.
Everything the dispo sells you can get on the street for less than half usually.
