Man, numerous friends of mine lost their careers for not complying with no jab-no job mandates, while people literally cheered when they lost their jobs. The local Facebook group where I live had a running post doxxing businesses and contractors to boycott for not being jabbed. "If they're too dumb to not get the jab, how can you trust them to do good work and provide a good service?" It was sadly my former Fire Chief who I worked for for a decade that started that post. We were previously close friends, he had made me an officer and respected me. But I lost all respect for him after he did that.

I have a Santa Claus size bag of shitty stories to tell from the last 3 years. I kept all the fucking reciepts. Actually lost respect for a good percentage of mankind.

Uh, I didn’t know political opinion and vaccine beliefs were related to carpentry, but my shed is still standing strong 3 years later 🤷‍♂️
 
So flower definitely makes me cough, a lot and I hate coughing. Edibles don’t work any more. So I am thinking hash oil may be better for the lungs. I made some nice extract out of one of my plants trim and do a half bowl of herb and a nice chunk of that and I only have to smoke one bowl versus three. Dabs make me cough even worse than flower but that combo in my bong seems to work. I for sure don’t want a heart attack unless is kills me dead lol. But I am not too worried about what they say about cannabis and the negatives it may cause. It’s healthier than most stuff in the pharmacy.

There are studies that show cannabis smokers have better lung capacity as well as better insulin response(lighter body weight as a whole) so we must make our choice whether it will kill us by cardiac arrest which seems off if it increases our lung capacity and keeps us lighter with less fat. 😉

Very much so. The less oxygen your lungs can pull, the harder your heart has to work to keep your body oxygenated. Impaired lung function is one of the key markers for increased risk of ischemic heart disease.
And one of the first signs of CHF is breathing problems from fluid in the lungs.

All I'm saying is if weed makes your bmi lower from its insulin effects and gives you better lung capacity it can't be all bad.😀

I worked in the medical field in the late 70's, We all worked "at" the hospital, whomever owns the hospitals decided to move almost all the departments out of the hospital. Dr's pay went way down, and we have what you see in medicine today. You must pay people to do a "good" job. I am almost ashamed to say i am in the medical field, cannabis saved me and the job I do, retire soon. SSgrower

I one time saw the LD50 of psilocybin discussed, it seems like it was something like 130 grams of pure psilocybin.
You couldn’t eat enough shrooms to even die from them, but I’m not sure your brain would ever work the same again!
 
I had six heat attacks over a two week period in 2013. The last one scared me enough to go to the emergency room. Triple bypass and some stents along the way since. I don’t want to live to be in my 90’s and die of nothing. Life would be pretty boring.

I'll digress, I recently had my sister's 30 year old step son from England over for a visit. The topic of weed came up and he declared that he had given it up for good. Says he was addicted, was smoking 4-6 joints per day and noticed he was getting irritable at work in the afternoon, losing his temper, and the second he got home he had to have a joint, and it would immediately calm him down. Says he even started having a joint before going to work just to not go to work angry. He didn't like the ups and downs so he gave it up and suffered 3 days of intense withdrawals, mostly rage and irritability. No more cannabis for him he says...

Im looking at him like Willy Wonka at this point. Having lived in England for a while and knowing how ALL English people smoke their cannabis, I couldn't wait to ask him, Sam, did you roll your joints with half tobacco?

I knew the answer was yes, obviously. I said you do realize, the addiction you had, and the rage withdrawal was from the cigarettes you were smoking, not the weed right?

Whot? I don't think so mate... it was only 2 or 3 fags worth a day... he says.

When I told him I can go from an 8th of weed a day to nothing with zero withdrawal whatsoever, but quitting tobacco was harder than quitting a Coke addiction, I could literally see the brain cells arguing inside his head.

Saw the same thing on a BBC documentary about weed in the 90's when I was living there. Interviewed a guy who was deep in the grips of a Marijuana addiction and couldn't stop no matter how many times he tried to give it up. Video of him rolling a spliff with basically half a cigarette worth of tobacco in a huge paper and sprinkling about 1/4 gram of cannabis into it. WHY AM I SOOO ADDICTED TO WEEEED!!!????

When I lived over there everyone put tobacco in their weed and thought I was insane for rolling it on its own. And hardly any of them smoked cigarettes, but they would always have 10 packs of smokes for rolling joints with. I wondered why they sold 10 packs in England, but then I understood where the demand came from lol.

Wild how most brits ive ever met who smoke or have smoked weed, don't put it together that the reason they're addicted to weed is because of the tobacco they roll it with.

I heard Rogan say the same thing, he liked a little bit of tobacco in his weed to smooth it out and make it taste just right..........fkin gag me, tobacco makes me spin and start seeing through a tunnel before passing out....or hurling if I take a big hit. Been years and years but a hard no on tobacco for me.

They all say it's to make it burn better. Maybe their weed doesnt burn good? Dont know, all i ever smoked over there was mostly hash with tobacco, and a couple 50:50's of weed/tobacco that other people rolled.
Though the UK Cheese and Skunk was still dope even in a 5050, as a ciggy butt smoker anyways at the time.
