Seems like some people don't like the guy, but the dude from BAS opened my eyes to that now obvious move where you snip a sample and bring it to the camera instead of taking the camera to the plant. This will save me a lot of frustration trying to hold the scope steady outdoors until the wind stops. Indoors I rigged a piece of bamboo onto a camera stand like a small boom. That worked pretty good for me.

we're still reading trics here, and been snipping a tiny bit just from under the first leaves for now. once i see more consistent cloudy i'll start looking down the plant... getting much closer though!!!!!!

i've been making it cooler and cooler for the past couple weeks, mostly just because it's very easy to do. i haven't had to use the exhaust fan once this grow. the doors are slightly cracked and i just keep cracking them open a little more every few days.. nothing super noteworthy really. it gets up to about 78° and sown to 60° at night. the rh is super low around 30%,, this really is the A to B run i've been wanting for a few tries now man. this one has been a lot of fun and really right down the fairway the entire time!!

i fed them tea again a couple days ago, they're still drinking pretty heavy but i have been letting them dry a little more and more each watering. you can see the past week of ecowitt, i've been letting them get dryer than ever before, the graph is bottoming out on the numbers..,

we got about the same about today, it's still coming down now so i haven't plowed yet... chickens actually came out yesterday and hung out in the one spot with no snow, they didn't even wanna come out today. they looked out the door and said nah... hahaha



i'm being slightly nagged to go for an atv ride.. they've declared it snow emergency here so we can legally ride on the roads with off road vehicles!! she doesn't need to twist my arm very far to get me to go.. hell the only thing better than eating donuts is doing them!!!!!!

i heard reports of some places in texas with snow!!!! we're gonna get hammered on sunday.. we got three plow trucks and a backhoe ready to go up here!!!!!! the backhoe does the work of like 3 or 4 plows at once so it can be a life saver like you wouldn't believe. i'm about as prepared as i can be i guess!!

the raiders need to shit or get off the pot here!!! what are they waiting for?!?! two good options already signed with other teams and they haven't made a single move yet!!! C'MON!!!!

as far as i know they have interviewed 14 coaches so far. only two have had second interviews so far, Ejiro Evero and Jesse Minter both met twice with the team so far. but it's been since like tuesday since i heard any news.. c'mon!!!

good thing we get some racing action next weekend already!!!!!! all the nascar drivers fizzled out in the chili bowl this year so i'm looking forward to bowman gray!!!

i plan to harvest just those two plants and then the fruity pebbles is next, there's three of them and when i take those out i'll lift the net off and rearrange the last four plants to finish up..

oh this was the biggest mistake since becoming a pot snob!!! hahaha i've created a monster and now i can't give up on either... everything in my brain tells me to bail on the hydro and take back my veg cabinet!! haha my heart won't let it happen... even a shitty growing hydro is still faster than soil!! hahaha my brain will think differently about it in a few weeks when i flip to flower!!! hahaha funny how buds just make it all better!!! haha

i think the great white shark is gonna be great for scrog!! imagine a table full of these!!!!

cashed in all my lucky points tonight... i tell everyone all the time, start your geny's!! i just ran mine like a month ago and everything seem fine. so today it was last on my list of things to get ready for the storm. fired it up and it wouldn't stay runnin!! ok with ether so i knew it had to be a fuel/carb issue... took the carb off and soaked it in cleaner/high test and blew out all the ports with my airgun and did that a few times till i could see fuel atomizing out of it.. slapped it back on and it fired up quicker than ever!!!!

lucky lucky lucky!!!!!!!!!

now i'm ready!!

There's also a burnt orange I'm liking a ton but will probably get something a little more trippy for my piece.
I'll order one from there soon so if you wanna wait until I can verify if they're legit and the paint doesn't do anything negative...
Only thing about buying off there is it's thru the app. You can see it on the web but no purchase portal. When a piece arrives, you have to video the unboxing in case there's an issue. I got a great deal on two proxy chambers and the peak already. One of those chambers is next on my want list.

I like both. At the same time. If DWC in compost tea was possible for more than a few hours I'd try it.
Might wanna try different types of hydro too since you picked liked the hardest fucker in the line up! Flood & drain & NFT are a lot more forgiving. Vertical NFT is fun too but for you it seems the next choice is obvious...

That's good to read! Phew moments are always the best. Mucho respecto for what Y'all have to deal with man.
So many times I sit here and think, just add a heater when you guys have cold grows but it's more than that when temps are that low.
I can't get my room over 77 with a space heater on high and lights at near max power!
IDK how you guys do it without having a fireplace in the grow space. IDK what to do with a cold grow room. It's...unnatural

i really enjoy having the two sides, and i always find a little extra joy when i find something i own that can be used for both sides.

tonight i need to water all the soil plants. they're the lowest they've been once again on the ecowitt. i'm just gonna go with water this time, i'm pretty lazy today. i also need to mix up more hydro top off tonight.

they're all thirsty!!!! crazy though the way those two look you'd think they were done drinking but they're chugging it down all pretty much equally.. got it nice and chilly down there for lights out!!




but would that ferris wheel be awesome!!!!!!! imagine that above my pond!!!!!

so far we're doing really well up here. snow storm moved out last night and now it's just gonna be frigid cold for a week. you learn to deal with it man. make it work for you instead of against you. the very same way you do with the heat... if we switched houses right now we both be in panic mode in the gardens!!!

i get in the high 80's and go oh shit i gotta get on this.. you get in the high 80's and check to see when the lights are coming on!!! hahaha

one thing i am proud of is since changing my venting around i am not using a single heater right now or this whole winter yet. i have a small heat mat and my aquarium heater and no air heater and also not letting any heat from the lights escape, every watt i'm using is now lighting the plants and adding a tiny bit of heat to the house. so tiny its unmeasurable proly, but it's still better than negative!!

i'm gonna take my extra heater down to my neighbors house tonight. the warehouse to get their furnace part was closed today. i bet they're so worried and not even enjoying the trip at all. i told them don't worry their plants are safe with me!!!!!! it's really all they really care about at this point, their son put antifreeze down the pipes so its all about the plants. can't smoke theirs though.. hahaha
