Hello all. I need a new light for my 4x4 and I’m hoping to get some feedback from the peeps here. Obviously im trying to get the best deal. Here’s two I’m looking at from Mammoth. The Fold Series 660w and the 8 bar 680w. These are on liquidation sale and both seem like great deals. I’m leaning towards the 660 fold but it’s 48”x47”…could be kind of a pain to cram into a 4x4. The par map is spectacular.

The 8 bar description is vague and I can’t find much info about it. Seems like it’ll do just fine in a 4x4 and it’s 43”x43”. Much more manageable.

I’ve got both of these lights at $474.05 ea in my cart. Seems like a steal. Guess they’re trying to make room for the new mint white canna green spectrum lights on their shelves.

Any insight or suggestions much appreciated.

I think either one will light a 5 x 5. I'd look at the warranty too. AC infinity has the best I know (2 years)of and great costumer service. I had the timer go out on a 22 month old light, and they sent a whole new light in 2 days-before I sent the old one back. Free shipping too.
This is what I'd put in a 4 x 4.

There’s definitely lots of options. I’ve been looking at lights for weeks now, I have light hangover lol! The KS5000 looks like a bargain, Migro Array 4 as well. The two mammoth lights are great deals too. And they’ll light a 5x5 no problem if I upgrade the space in the future.

If you're in the US you can get 650w of power for $300. You can also adjust the light bars on the fixture to even out the canopy exposure.
