A little funny?

They still had cold beer machines in the breweries lunch room when I was an electrical estimator. It was either free or you got tokens. Don’t recall now. I didn’t have any as it was just domestic, and honestly the smell from all the ingredients and the wart cooking just killed my appetite. 😞

A very true story of not understanding the concept of an auction and entitlement.

Several times a year I list stuff for sale on ebay. If it's grow or smoke related, I always open the auction at $4.20 no matter what the item. It could be worth $5K and I'll still open at $4.20.
I do it for several reasons...Tradition that brings good luck...To give everybody a shot and if they get a great deal, I'm happy for them, they beat the house, cheers....but also to drive up action and create bidding wars on the item.

So within minutes of going live I get the question, how much will I take right now?
It's up for auction for a week and there's no buy it now price.
I'll give you $20 now since you only want $4.20.
$4.20 is the opening bid. If you win it for $4.20 that's what you'll pay. If it gets bid up higher then that's the final price.
$20 is a good price since you only want $4.20.
$4.20 is just the opening bid, not the final sale price. Nobody will know that price until the auction is over.
I'm reporting you to ebay for not selling it to me for $20 when you only want $4.20.

Current bidding is up to $61 ;gr

That's so awesome you found those!!
El Arroyo is a restaurant here and it's sign is pretty much a national treasure landmark. Little TexMex joint that's okay but more famous for that sign and the margaritas.

They always hit with the perfect message for the time and there's even a series of coffee table books that's a popular Xmas gift around here

That’s cool! I was just in the mood for something different, good satire that I hadn’t seen before. This popped up amongst a bunch of others. I picked the ones I liked best. You seem to live in a say what you think kind of town/city. I like that. 👍

Our vacation plans got mucked up. Buddy got gallbladder issues and gallstones. Instead of us going on day trips and fishing he’s been going back and forth between hospital and home. Sees a specialist on the 13th.

So we’ve given up hope of him joining us and turned things into a staycation. Heatwave has made day trips iffy.

Wife found a nice brisket, only our second ever, and I’ve been cheating and having a few beers and tequila. YOLO. (Only a 6 pack since Saturday and I still have two or three left. Tequila was gone after three days.😝)

I've been looking food and drink in our hotel in Vegas and in their Mexican restaurant they have 32oz Margarita's for $17, $20 with tip???? I can do that 3-4-? times a day. Margarita's have to be my favorite mix drink if they're well made, I can see 1 whole day lost to Margaritavill1753883731889.png

Daiquiris aren’t bad either but margaritas are the goto if wife’s in the mood for a drink. I’m okay with just the tequila but mix to make it last longer. 🤣

Go for the 32oz, it’s obviously the better deal. 😝

I love The Grinch, but its gotta be the original Dr. Suess version or the Jim Carrey movie.
I cant stand the new 2020 edit, it sucks.
Haven’t seen anything newer than the Jim Carey version. He did a great job. The above guy does a good impression of it too.
