Best small dry herb vaporizer?

[TomH]

I’m sure someone here has some experience in this area, I’m looking for a dry herb vape for my daughter for her birthday this year.

I’d like to get her something with good performance and easy to use (change temp settings etc.) And not a bear to clean.

I have a PAX2 which I really like, but it’s no longer made.

Ideas? Recommendations? Also, anything I should avoid?

Thank you!

Since this thread started back in 2024, the tech has definitely caught up to the demand for small but powerful devices. Battery life used to be the biggest hurdle for these tiny units, often dying right when you were getting into a good session. You really want something that can handle at least five or six full bowls before needing a USB-C cable. I shifted my focus toward devices that prioritize extraction efficiency so I do not have to keep refilling the chamber as often.

This transition led me to the Norddampf Relict Vaporizer, which uses a dual heating setup to get the most out of every load. It is a solid, no-nonsense device that feels built to last, which is exactly what I look for when I am spending my hard-earned money.

if battery life is your thing, the Fuji vaporizer, by Camouflet, takes the cake at 50 bowls per charge

this vape is shaped like a volcano and its built into a little bamboo body.

It's instant on and instant heating with a glass vapor path for super tasty vapor.
it vapes .16 in about two hits

it's full convection, unless packed tight, then it gets kinda weird with the metal capsules

it's not pocket friendly, but it comes with a nice travel case.
this is the first battery powered vape to get me to turn off my ball vapes

did i mention FIFTY BOWLS PER CHARGE!?
