I’m sure someone here has some experience in this area, I’m looking for a dry herb vape for my daughter for her birthday this year.

I’d like to get her something with good performance and easy to use (change temp settings etc.) And not a bear to clean.

I have a PAX2 which I really like, but it’s no longer made.

Ideas? Recommendations? Also, anything I should avoid?

Thank you!

If you are interested I would be willing to sell my S&B mighty dry herb vape for $150 shipped CONUS. It’s in great condition. Or I would be willing to trade for some good seeds.

I truly appreciate the offer, I’m still trying to figure out which direction I’ll go.

Hey TomH this is the one I got. It’s a Health Rips Rogue

Works great for what I need. Only does dry herb but does that well. I’m on two years with it and a quite happy with it. Good luck on your search.

NICE! I haven't tried the gordito yet, how you like it?
Honestly, game changer. Best addition we got. Even my wife likes it. Cools the vape right down. Taste and smells are much better.

We had to order the clear glass bubble straw later. The short black one that comes with it isn’t good enough. The other two is all we use, multiple times a day. I load 7-13 capsules each day.

I was hoping to use the original black glass straw as a joint holder but it’s not a good fit. I keep it with the capsule holder as a backup now.

Linx Vapor just dropped their new dry herb vaporizer, the Linx Saber. It’s a convection vape that’s super easy to use, but the real kicker? It’s priced at just $60.

In under 30 minutes you join, leave two vape ads and leave?

No thanks. 🫏🎩

Mighty + user here. Very Happy. If you need it smaller, the crafty is great.
I use the dosing pods too. Been a wonderful vape from day 1. Perfect for a day trip too. They are their lowest $$ on Black Friday. Worth every cent.

Have you tried any of the "ball vapes"?

Sorry for bumping an old thread, I got excited when I found people talking about ball vapes - that's bleeding edge vape stuff, glad to see it being talked about.

G Pen Micro........cute but clogs way too easily. 2 hits and I have to take it apart and clean it. They recommend buying extra tips and bowls with it, now I know why. For concentrates only, by the way.

I have a PAX2 that I made some modifications to the heat chamber to vastly improve airflow.
It’s still not what I’d ever recommend anyone buy, but as long as it works, I’m cheap.

When this one wears out, I’m going to be looking for a nice handheld with exceptional airflow, ease of load/clean is a plus. Good battery use times and size of chamber nice to have as well, but perhaps less important.

I have not, but I have a Mighty+ and Volcano, I really only like to use them for hash. They really bring the flavor out.
I just prefer to smoke is all lol 🤘🏼

The Mighty is soo good, I carried that vape daily for nearly a decade. The new S&B portable has 3x more airflow, but it's still the same vapor, basically.
There are much more potent dry herb vaporizers out there, if that's what was missing for you.
The ball vapes are a new level of vapor, but they're also not for everyone. The vapor can be so strong that it hurts.

I've been hearing amazing things on S&Bs new Venty. I hear it's a beast compared to the mighty even.

Tell me about them!
Happily!
"Ball Vapes" are named as such because the heater is filled with ruby balls.
This trend started around 2016 and became popular amongst dry herb vape enthusiasts.
Initially, it was just a bunch of DIY vaporizers, but in the last few years, they've started to catch on.
They took off when ball vapes crossed paths with e-nail PIDs and coils, which made them accessible and somewhat affordable.

Ball vapes are still mostly a desktop vaporizer experience made for bongs, but there are a few portable ball vapes out now. They don't crush like the desktop ball vapes, but they're VERY GOOD for portable vapes.

Ball vapes are so good because they have open airflow and extremely fast extraction. I can vape .25g in a single inhale, although nowadays I prefer a .1g sized bowl.

I have a website with more information but I don't want to be spammy like Denis (Denis also spammed my website with the same link)

What's your website? I'm actually in the market for a portable unit, I'd love to see your opinion on what units are the best. Not sure if linking your website with information regarding the topic at hand would be a problem, (I wouldn't consider one link "spammy") but if you need to DM it to me that would be fine as well.

I'm actually looking at the Pax Mini. I had an original Pax that I liked except I found the bowl to be too big & it was a but of a bear to keep clean. Sounds like the mini has half the bowl size, is a little easier to clean & maintains most of the features with the exception of multiple temp options. Also It's very reasonably priced at just over $100

My website is 420vapezone.com.
I ranked and compared 45 of the best portable vapes and put together this guide.

The Pax Mini is my favorite Pax tbh. It's so simple, and the half oven actually makes its vapor better than the full-sized pax oven.
I don't use the Pax often, but I'm also a full-time vaporizer user and I vape dry herb all-day

I have all of the vapes and I quit my dayjob to review them - so hit me up anytime if you have questions :)
or if you're in LA and want to try things out, i'd be happy to sesh with locals and share the vapes (600+ in my collection)

Wow your site is very informative. I love how you have them organized into categories with the prices/ratings clearly labeled without having to go into the individual reviews. After looking through everything I'm now considering spending a little more for the PotV Lobo.

If I follow the links on your site to purchase do you get credit for the sales?

I've been helping people with vapes since 2014 and the experience helped me figure out many common questions and user demands.

Many of the links are affiliate links, but not all. There are good vapes that don't earn any commission and affiliate relations aren't factored in to the vape ranking :)

The Lobo is very good for its price.
Have you tried a Dynavap?

No I've never heard of a Dynavap before. Watched your video & while definitely interesting I don't think it's what I'm after right now. I'm looking for something a little more stealth & really don't want to deal with torches. (ironically I use torches for work so it's not that I'm uncomfortable using them, but I just want something more simple, it's the main reason I've stayed away from dab rigs as well)
