i'm kinda surprised there's not a 19 diecast sitting on that window sill!! they're just damn lucky it's not the hamlin center or it would get peed on often!!!!! hahahaha
ya know man i had to google "true hydro" to even know what it was.. i said to myself watch it will be what i have... yup!
man you have so many different strains at once... wowzers!!! so many that are completely different from each other as well. gonna be a hell of a camo show!!!!
i think you had that ice cream once before, yeah? i thought i remember seeing it as it reminded me of a turkey hill kind i had... that banana tub you had looked the bomb!!!! those banana drumsix we got are pretty dang good!! i like the chocolate waffle cone they use!!!
and hey look at that you've always wanted to grow that unicorn weed and now you have yourself a big ol tickler horn growing!!!!!!!!!!!!
good luck to the 19 on the front row tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooot woot!!!!!!!!!
Thing about peeing on stuff these days is there's cameras EVERYWHERE!!
The rebranding and reinventing of things never stops amazing me man. Kinda reminds me of people using the phrase "true living organics" and it being both a brand and a technique of growing soil.
Not much of technique other than using a hot layer of soil at the bottom similar to compost at the bottom of a hole for planting a tree and giving it a new name.
I'm simply from the old era of hydro being an umbrella for nothing more than growing without soil and then there's subtopics of techniques like DWC, Kratky or wick, NFT, aero, Ebb N Flow and so on.
So for me, hempy is hydro. If an earthbox is using a wicking potting mix instead of soil, it's technically hydroponics.
Soilless can be anything from coco to perlite/vermiculite, to perlite and any combo of them but it's still hydro since there is no compost, castings, or soil involved.
Within the subtopics are nuances for the mediums. Making things work in DWC, raft, or Aero being the most challenging. Rockwool comes with it's own unique hurdles and coco is probably the most forgiving.
Many things will work in water only mediums but are hard to manage. Like a compost tea in DWC is possible but the margin for error is very narrow and it will be a very high maintenance, water wasting grow.
Some things can be used as foliar when it cannot be added to the water as well. That was often my play with aquaponics and using something that could harm the fish
Most nutrients will have all the sulfur you need since it's a micro nute. You only need trace amounts.
But I'd put it like this...you're average basic airpump can supply your DWC all the air it could possibly need but concentrating the oxygen and increasing it may increase growth by even 1% is worth it so kinda the same thing with sulfur.
Not gonna make a world of difference and can live without it but sometimes it can make a difference and I find that difference happens most with sativa than it does indica.
So that's another thing...Already growing frosty indica hybrids? I doubt much difference can be made other than maybe getting frost on stems and underside of leaves but on a haze the sulfur can frost up leaves that are usually baron and then also seriously grease up the flowers.
IDK of anything like Golden Gun and you'd have to see but there's also SulfurPower from Power AG.
In the GH line it's kinda for the same thing but not really and that's Floranectar or Bud Candy from AN. I have both those too for the diverse sugars but I'm almost certain the AN stuff is just epsom salt in water and is a fake sweetener. My sample bottle of that stuff is kinda old and I've never opened it but it's ingrendients just say mag. Label promises one thing but ingredients are promising something else IMO with that one.
Floranectar is a kind of a 1% sulfur supplement and doses of sugar for microbials. I bought the Nectar a few weeks ago for the upcoming ripening and since GG is an every other week application I want a steady low dose every flood for the microherds as well as the plants.
I'd honestly be shocked if Floranectar coudln't be used in DWC.
