It’s suxs big time brother.i tried to get some cmh lights ages ago from growers choice and they wanted 8-900 to send.oh I forgot...anything over a g we have to fill out a declaration and pay duties ,taxes and stuff.they are making it soo hard now it’s not funny.

It would literally be cheaper for me to drive across the border and back, after mailing a package to Stoney with 5 or 6 3D printed figurines in it, than to mail them as gifts. Last check was over $100 because of all this BS. Canada Post won’t even touch a package going to the US unless I download an app that you upload pics too and it then tells you the duty you have to pay up front now!!! That’s even higher as it thinks everything is a toy from China.

it's just ridiculous anymore.. it's the same buildings, the same workers actually doing the work and we just pay politicians not the actual workers. that small box i sent you was around $35 i didn't think it was terrible but considering the seeds it's always the extra gamble.

i was just thrilled it made it and once you told me i had then already forgotten about the money. it tool a weird route than any of my other shipments.. it went through amish country to get there and think maybe part of was delivered in horse and buggy. haha could have been a mennonite though and not amish, they live near there too.. amish have the black buggies and mennonites drive grey ones.. similar lifestyles though. both make really great shoo fly pie!!!

$35 to send seeds is still nuts but I could do that. Up to $50 I could eat. But $100+ for some plastic hollow figures plus duty is too much. I’ll still mail out seeds in cards but I’ll wait until it’s back to $50 before sending larger items.

If the hospital or my wife’s friends go on another cross border shopping trip I’ll send them along for the ride. But it’s been canceled the last two years do to the silliness.

They really sent it on a journey. It took twice as long as normal.

We have Amish, Quakers and Mennonites. Good craftsmen. Watched them raise a barn or two over the years. They still spoke like my great grandfather did. Not a lot of words and straight to the point. I used to take my wife to their crafts and fair sales near my dads.

I like apple and pumpkin, I can eat cherry, blueberry, raspberry and rhubarb. I’ll even choke down a lemon to be polite. But I prefer cake.

Meanwhile here, CMH has lost almost all value and I can get fixtures for $35 and lamps for $5. Same with T5HO and DE HPS.
All the light technology that came out a year or two before LED is almost worthless here. I think it's all marked down 90-95% from what it once was.

I have two CMH fixtures and a box of lamps that would cost more to ship across town then what they're worth even though they're excellent grow lights

BTW I shoulda also mentioned about that cure machine and size.....I have an idea about curing hash in it so that was probably my #1 interest in it.
I'll do some flower in it but also thinking mostly drying weed then making hash and curing the hash instead of curing the flowers before I extract them into hash

That was about 4 yr ago I tried to get sun system cmh in.i just couldn’t comprehend the cost to freight.

I have old timers here telling me how much they yield with the old se lights lol.when I first set up my first room years ago they were saying you should get 1.5 lb using 1000 w light….I’m soo glad I didn’t listen to them and went with the info I picked up off the forums that led is the future and se were outdated…to this day they still don’t use em and I’m telling them I’m only using 600w and are way past 1.5 lol by a lb.but it costs them bugger all on equipment.they even use powdered nutrients that’s like 15 bucks for the grow
