Burn or calcium?

My friends plants. Top fan leafs. Nothing on lowers. What say you. Light burn or cal?

My thoughts too, but only on the uppers under the light throws me. Some of the others up top are Tacoing.

The tips are not burnt or turned up, nor the very edges.
You can also see the veining from the Mg.

Yes. Back off the light and it won't need as much food. Then add a touch of calmag and let them grow to the light.

Backed the light off. He’s been adding 10ml
of calmag per gal of rain water he uses to water.

Seems like way too much. Calcium is antagonistic and can cause other nutrient lock outs if present in excess.

Not all calmag is created equal either. 10mg of GH would kill my plants, FF probably not.

He is using roots organic liquid calmag at 10ml (2 tsp) per gal of water

I would lean towards lock out since it’s new growth so personally I would cut back on calmag and just add epson salt like a gram a gallon

The rust spots are on the older mature fans on the top of the plant. The new growth looks a little mag def I agree.

I am going over again today with my apogee to check the light and will take whole plant pics.

I set the ppfd down to 300 now. Not sure where it was before I turned the dial down yesterday. That will be sufficient until their mothers are through flowering in another week or so. Then we’ll move them to flower area where there is more clearance under the light.

I’m thinking k def and needs pk boost. It’s at week 4 as of yesterday. This popped up overnight. These are my friends plants. I saw them yesterday and didn’t see any deficiencies then.
