This is my GG-grand father, his wife and kids sometime around 1889. They were Iowa farmers, all dressed up for this new thing called a photograph. His name was George Washington Sylvester, his wife (look for the tired eyes) was Ella Stretcher. My G-grand father is the boy that appears about 8 or 9 years old standing just left of center of the image. His name Was Hank.

This is his oldest daughter (my grandmother), hanging out with gangsters in the roaring twenties. The guy on the left is Pretty Boy Floyd, on the right is someone I believe named Luigi, but I don't recall his last name. Definitely not a guy to cross.

This is my mom. Rode an Indian Chief in the late 40s and early 50s. She was in a motorcycle gang in LA in the early fifties. She was also a pilot in the late 40s. Interestingly, by the time I came around she was scared to death of heights. Something happened to her when she lived in NY, but she'd never be completely clear about it. I suspect she was attacked and held out a window. I could be wrong, but I've no way to find out for sure anymore.
In the 60s, 70s and early 80s she was a cop in 4 different cities in Orange Co, Ca.

i don't believe in wind chill temps or "real feel" if it's 10 it's ten.. maybe they "think" it feels colder but those pussies just can't handle 10!!!

i use real feel in the summer. people say it's only 85.. i say yeah but the real feel is 104!! i'm staying in the AC!! hahaha

I see so many Americans at the hospitals here breathing a sigh of relief. See any doctor you want, wait for 30 minutes tops. Doctors perform the tests in many cases....Many people travel here, fix whats wrong, recouperate on the beach and eat great food, fruits and vegetables, same cost as procedure in US. Pharmacies sell you the prescriptions you need, no note required, no only 30 days. Healthcare and legal system seem to be the #1 reasons why people exit their home countries. Anyone need help/info just holler.

My father in law is going to freeze when he gets back here 🤣

He came down Thursday, dropped his dog off and flew off to NC from Albany Friday morning. Well it's 50 down there.
And -3 here 🤣
He lands at like 1130 tonight too so it'll be even colder.
