I'm 8 ft underground in a cellar with 8ft tall cement walls 1 small window I have blacked out in a damp wet location. We have a return air system to circulate and exchange air that helps a lot but it regulates it around 65- 70% so I have to drop it from there, except in the winter. If a duct works for SF I could add a heat duct off the dehues intake and run flexible 6" duct off that into the tent. something like these. I could glue that to the intake and flex duct off it ....no??? View attachment 117785

I was looking at making something like this to keep the air off the leaves cuz my dehuey sits in the tent... might make your situation easier, I'm going to try cardboard and tape and just cut it in pieces and tape it together.

I kinda did that with cardboard one year but it was too unstable. I vented the Dehue exhaust 3-4 ft away into another room through blackout curtains. I'm thinking one like you posted attached to the dehue's intake with a duct off that into the tent as Spiderfarmer has done with their new dehue.

So in soil, yucca extract is great for heat and drought tolerance and apparently in hydro, it relives salt build up. For some reason I was under the impression sledgehammer was an enzyme or something like Clear Rez. A cleaner safe for roots. Didn't know yucca could used for that same job but do it organically!
Kinda like a Swiss Army Knife goodie for the root zone no matter the medium!

I've added Yucca powder to my soil this run only 1/8th tsp/gal is the recommended dose. I'm not sure how such a small amount will do anything, we'll see I guess.

Its said by its promo shit it helps wick water through Peat based soils that are hydrophobic to start, My blend already has some in it but my surfaces in the pots are dry. If 1/8th tsp helps then wtf I'll giver a try. Cheap enough. It also somehow supposed to helps with salts

Seems my diplomacy has worked to perfection.
I've never smoked with them but have also made no effort to hide that I smoke. I do keep growing down low but they may have smelled my plants thru the Summer and recently, the greenhouse has smelled like a skunk den.

If it has more than one channel like the solarsystems with red, white, and blue then yeah that's an adjustable spectrum.
If it's like that red CLW bar light you have then it's just a dimmer both on the dial and a controller. If you can reach that dial then I wouldn't buy the controller.

The Spectramax has two channels but it's really more like 1.5 and .5 channels.
Just because white is turned down to 1 doesn't mean only red is on.
Full spectrum white diode packages can only dim so the "white" is really a red, white, and blue mixed together and can dim 1-99.
The other red enhancement diodes are not part of the full spectrum case so there is red to infra-red on a dimmer.

In any case, like sunset and sunrise features, adjustable spectrum is an over-rated and somewhat misleading feature IMO.
You can geek out on it but it doesn't make much difference.
Full balanced spectrum is the way to go IMO especially early. Blue for veg and red for flower is outdated with today's tech. It's both for both.
Maybe at the end, play with ripening stuff but other than that, adjustable spectrums don't make or break any grow or do much to enhance anything.

Doubt many spectramax lights will come up on the used market. Too damn big to ship without some sort of carrier discount. I'd sell mine if I could so I'd have a good excuse to buy Mammoth's 10 bar haymaker.

All the ACI lights come with that small gadget controller so you don't really need the other controllers but the others do let you control the lights with a phone or tablet.
All those lights only dim...ACI, SF, Mars...all that stuff's the same thing which is a 0-10 dimmer but really it's something like 10%-25%-50%-75%-100%.
They might call it adjustable spectrum in marketing but it's only a dimmer.
If the colors are separated and on their own dimmer then it's truly adjustable spectrum

I'm pretty sure the roots have extracted the sulfur from the rez.
Noticed after about 30 hours and two floods the rotten egg odor was next to nothing. Got ready for today's flood and saw the water was back to black/clear




Topped it off with some more mycos and sulfur water and it went white again. After the flood, no more white. Like they're sucking it up as soon as it floods the bed.
No food in the rez other than Microherds, Bembe, and the Golden Gun sulfur.

Seeing multiple metal & mineral defs showing almost as soon as I cut the salts.
I want them to burn off as much fertilizer they have stored as possible so I aint gonna be mad at seeing iron, mag and whatever defs at this point in the game. The more the better is only gonna make the weed smoke and taste better.
Grease seems to be onto something.
Not once have I ever believed sweet smelling candy like additives would do anything for flavor or aroma. Cannabis love nasty stuff. The more foul, the better. Nasty shit like rotten fishy stuff, guanos, and rotten egg sulfur is right in the wheelhouse of what brings out the road kill aroma in weed.
Now they're turning into foul and offensive smelling chonker sized oil pumps

Found this gem online looking at ads in the back of old High Times rags.
I love history and even weed growing history from old growers to people who've been fighting prohibition since the 70s.
Always have respect and admiration for those who grew before me. The balls it took to grow your own was something today's growers does not have to deal with. Be thankful for that!

The best thing about my trimmer though....it's not racist towards lefties unlike my pocket chainsaw!!!



It will be a chore even with the power trimmers but it's more like a 3 hour chore rather than a 3 day marathon with snips.
My big concern today is if I have enough space to dry this crop. I already know it's gonna set a record in both biomass size of colas and quantity of them compared to every past grow I've done, indoors or out.

I had this a couple grows back~!

My wife was saying on the CSI shows she watches the forensic detectives use Vicks Vapor rub smeared under their noses when looking at dead bodies so I did that during check in this morning and it really helped a ton. The sharp rank was dulled and I didn't gag at all. It also kinda helped clear my sinuses from congestion lol

It will shut down my sources for >$10/gram waxes and sugars forcing me back into pressing my own rosin. It's actually been cheaper for me to buy than extract my own for about the past 18 months.
So I'll go back to making my own squish...maybe that's the Ganja Gods way of helping me out by giving me such a huge yield this grow...plenty to waste dialing in my squish game again!
The good thing is my homemade rosin is far more potent than what I get from the Seahawk...I can hit that stuff maybe 10-15 times but with my homemade, maybe 3-5 hits max but my home squish is not as refined and much waxier and dirtier/rough on my dabber more than store bought.

Over the Summer during the previous threat to roll back into prohibition, a sort of amnesty was offered and I coulda gone legal with state supplied meds but I would have to enter a database. Well we see what's happening with innocent people with no criminal past in the immigration database so there's no way I'm taking that bait. Outlaw for life for this guy.

I stopped growing and went back to buying my weed after that until it became legal here in NY.
Last time I bought it was $300 an ounce. That was probably around 2020?
Now the state makes $$ off it and it is basically worthless on the black market.
While I waited till it was legal and grateful for it [ I guess ] I still have not once stepped foot into a dispensary.
I served time for my weed I grew, NO WAY I give them a penny for it now.
I don't see states that went legal ever giving up one penny.
None ever have enough so it seems like a safe bet to me.

Something far more sinister at play today and highly politicized more than ever.
Compassion is gone and it's being weaponized again.

In today's America, a MAGA stoner would be very happy to see a liberal stoner be locked up for weed.

Just another example of corporate interests dictating domestic policy, aka fascism.

Gas station shit needs to go away and everything needs to be easily looked up to know what's all in it, good or bad, and get the bad shit off the market. My only concern was buying my nutrients and soil. buying General Hydroponics nutrients with long hair and a beard at the only grow shop in the province was nerve racking. I was in the shop one day when in walked the police as I'm walking out with my order getting into my wagon and driving away. Sure it was legal to buy but who's buying it other than pot growers. How hard would it have been to check the plates addresses and investigate.

I think since legal I've only bought legal weed 1/2 doz times. Never impressed with it. Small hard dusty nugs, when rumbled and rolled it doesn't smoke worth a shit. I've bought some gummy's for my wife from Gov store also and its crap, they have a 10mg max dose/pack and 10mg @$10 doesn't work for her. She'd need 5 packs a night.

There is still a home delivery company that has great deals. Almost as cheap, probably cheaper to buy from them than grow my own. Not sure how they do it seems shady but they have a web site and once ordered it shows up in a couple hrs. Cash only. Everything I've bought from them has been good. Real weed not hard, sprayed, small buds like gov stuff is.

Us old gorilla growers are used to being discrete, lose lips and all. My only concern was buying my nutrients and soil. buying General Hydroponics nutrients with long hair and a beard at the only grow shop in the province was nerve racking. I was in the shop one day when in walked the police as I'm walking out with my order getting into my wagon and driving away. Sure it was legal to buy but who's buying it other than pot growers. How hard would it have been to check the plates addresses and investigate.

Once upon a time having a bag of Fox Farm soil in a car was enough for probable cause and being searched here. But today the local garden super store is also the Fox Farm distributor for the Southwest. These days it's not uncommon to see grow lights for sale at Costco lol.

Sounds like you got into some bad dispo stuff.
I've always heard terrible reviews for government supplied weed as well and that's part of the problem with what's being offered legally in Texas...It's more placebo than effective medication..

Dispo weed can be excellent. One bad experience does not represent the whole for me.
I've had tiny, over dry, machine trimmed weed from dispos and I've had magnificently cured organic options as well.

I research before I buy so I can make the best choice possible and rarely come up with a bad experience.
I have no problem admitting that yes dispo weed has surpassed mine at times and visa versa. It's just like homegrown in that just because I grew it doesn't make it the best and some hauls are just better than others.
Right now my room is full of dispo genetics from California so what comes from this room can also be found in dispos there. Only difference is the grower and equipment. I trust these dispo genetics far more than I do any of the new instagram stuff covered in frost with it's deceiving potency and hermie drama.

I've also used dispos to find what I like and to test a strain before I grow it. Also to know what extracts I prefer before making my own.
Edibles and especially chocolate bars I've scored have been spooky potent. One even scared my wife she got too high off it and stayed high for like 15 hours. Took her like 8 years before she tried another edible lol.

These days my personal buying guide revolves solely around concentrates like wax and sugars and drinks. Never buy flower. Kinda like going to a restaurant...never order what you can cook at home. I can grow flower at home so I never buy it

Eventually the raids stopped and it was a free for all for 2-3 years. The smoke then was great. Large Jars full they'd pull off the shelve to sniff feel and buy a bit of this and that for a pretty good price. Then they Faux legalized it and all the dispos were shut down and all that was left was government weed. In plastic no see containers with a book with the names of what you can buy. All behind a Pharmacy type counter with locked drawers with sealed blacked out containers. Inside is a surprise, 3.5 grams, 2 joints of ???? weed??? That'll be $35 bucks sir.

Reading the postings from people I'll be totally honest here...America is fucked for sure but holy shit...Canada and the UK are so warped and stupid when it comes to cannabis, it makes US law look astute. From a Texan, that might be kinda saying something

IDK if Canadian gov weed is G13 but that's what Americans get and it usually comes in a coffee style canister of about 200 joints. Not many get it though.

Hey, I get the empathy for the deer but that was a right off for my car. If I could have eaten the fker that would be something but it scampered away through the woods. No doubt damaged but maybe not a right off. My car was beauty, mint 2013 Juke, new tires, new shocks,new wiper motor, full tank of gas. 6 speed auto that went like stink, cornered like a dream, a favourite car, Didn't know the deer or its family. Deer are like vermin, just cause they are cute doesn't mean we shouldn't eat them into the Endangered category.
