Deathstar x Cherry Moonshine by dragons flame genetics

Grew out 7 regular seeds ended up with 5 females.

Female 1 - smells best in jar but smell doesn't translate to smoke as much
Female 2 - one of the two prettier plants, and id say the more potent and flavorful of the two
Female 3 - my winner, tastes phenomenal in flower form and gets ya primed good
Female 4 - savory oniony rotten smell, with a splash of fruit once in a while. If it were more potent it'd be staying.
Female 6 - the 2nd of the prettier plants tastes pretty good buzz pretty good but both lose to the number 2

So I'm gonna keep number 3 for sure and currently hanging onto number 2 as well.

Fun grow, the smoke ranges from I'd say a B with the top plant number 3 being an A maybe an A minus....it's a good plant though and unique enough to stick around another run or two, if you were to find the A plus plant in here no doubt she'd be something to hold onto for a good long while.

I popped 7 seeds with 5 being female and all the plants were of a quality I'd have been happy with any of them had I only gotten 1 female. Worth a grow and look in my opinion. Idk what I'll do with the other 5 or so seeds I got because plenty more to look at but if they were the only seed I had I'd be glad to run it again.

Is there a cherry aroma or taste?

I‘ve bought dispensary weed that had cherry in the name, but never got it in the smell or flavor.

I think that would be an awesome aroma!

There are a couple phenos that definitely had some cherry pie influence and I could taste it in there ....whether cherry pie tastes cherry to you or not is up to you lol

It's got modified macberry moonshine in there and id say the over all fruitiness of it leans more berry than anything. To me cherry pie has a faint cherryish light smell to it and all gas on the backend so I never thought it tasted like cherry either

Sorry this is off topic but I gotta get it out. Kinda like a song playing in my head and the only way to stop it is to sing it.....
I'm scarred for life now when I read "Deathstar".
Been a star wars fan all my life and love the franchise.
But I also have a bad habit of going down internet rabbit holes to read what the bat shit crazies on the fringe of society are up to and talking about.
Flat Earthers are some of my faves for a good laugh but my search algorithms this past Summer showed me a new group...

The messed up thing.....When Luke blows up the first one and Lando & the boys take out the second one...When you watch the flight patterns, the Flat Death Star Society has some good points

Um I vegged these for a little longer than I wanted to but they could have been pretty good on 5-6 weeks of veg time with proper plant count I think. I count seedling stage as a week or 2 tho and my veg tent is on some energy efficient shit so my veg times tend to lag a week or two I think

Anywho the yield was nice....I get on average about 2lbs when I do the lazy biker in the 5x5 and this yielded better than those plants so id say I would get 2+ lbs on a full tent of these....not bad with a 500w LED for me atleast

Pheno #6 (5 ended up being a male which is why I got 1-4, no 5, then a 6)


This was one of the prettier phenos, it loses to number 2 though. All phenos I should say had good bag appeal to them except the number 3, she looked pretty rough and scraggly compared to the others but bested them in a paper.

Pheno number 1, banger of a smell just doesn't come through in the burn off, baffling really I mean this one here ever heard "kush is my cologne" yea this would be a cologne id sport it smells genuinely pleasant.

Pheno number 3, the keeper of the bunch. Smokes great just tasty down to the last hit and packs a punch. These are the last 3 buds of it, and most of the other buds looked rough these don't do it justice on how really "meh" it looked. Those ugly girls though . She is mostly green when trimmed.

Pheno 4, raunchy big ole buds. She grew aggressively. If more potent I'd keep her she smells horrible in a good way. Onion savory garlic dumpster juice with a splash of grape drink or something. Earthy forest floor in there too
