I’ve taken to monitoring/documenting temp and humidity in the tent during the grow, mainly during the flower cycle.
I’ve noticed that at about the same time of day, regardless of weather it’s watering day or not, the plants seem to “exhale” significant amounts of humidity.
Every day, same time of day, humidity spikes. It seems like it’s about 6 hours after lights on, so essentially it’s midday for the plant!
This is the second grow in a row that I’ve noticed a humidity spike, but really the first time I started looking for a reason why.
Does the plant go through an enhanced growth cycle daily?
What happens after 6 hours of light that increases the respiration of the plant?
I have noticed that on water days, RH goes through the ceiling as soon as the moisture contacts the roots. The plant goes from a little limp to full on perky and the humidity usually goes from the mid 40s to mid and upper 60s, even seen it in the 70s on occasion.
Weed plants are like machines, when they are well tuned, they can kick arse!
