Yeah I just fill and run the system as usual. I'm pretty liberal with the bleach too and I haven't seen any problems.

Right on I'm reconfigurating and I might have to use some old hoes with some crud in it, and a good to know thing for the future...

1 part bleach to 9 parts water should clean things up.
So if system is 10 gallons water use 1 gallon bleach 9 gallons water.

an old fashioned toilet brush goes a long way when the bleach is in there for getting around fittings and corners.
